My Firefox menus and tabs and text are all warped and slightly out of focus for lack of a better term. What kind of issue is this. I only have the default theme/persona Strata installed. It's quite annoying.
My tabs and text seem slightly corrupted. There's an apparent curviture to the corners and the tops bow. The text is affected but the font's don't appear to have been edited to different fonts. It looks like some photoshop corruption effect to be honest, but this just happens to firefox everytime I use it now. It comes up normal for a second then 'fades' into this corrupt looking version.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

In Firefox 4 [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode Safe mode] disables extensions and disables hardware acceleration.<br />
If disabling hardware acceleration works then check if there is an update available for your graphics display driver.
* Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"
In Firefox 4 you can use one of these to start in <u>[[Safe mode]]</u>:
* Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
* Hold down the Shift key while double clicking the Firefox desktop shortcut (Windows)

Carriage Returns, Line Feeds, and Tabs in Text Area
I am having users copy and paste data from an Excel spreadsheet into a textarea on a BSP page. When they submit this, since there are tabs and line feeds in the data, the BSP does not recognize the data. The value in the field comes through as blank. When I manually type something into this field, with out any carriage returns, tabs, etc., the value does not come through as blank? Does anybody know how to get around this?

Iam uploading the data from application server(AL11) to other server.
In the GLPCA-SGTXT(Table) iam having some text like 'This is good ##'.i was downloded some other data with this text('This is good ##') by using report program in to aplicationserver(AL11) and from there iam uploading that data into other server.
But here the problem is in the UNIX, it was showing some problem.
That is actually it need to show the format like:
001 256 786 This is good## 459786
But here it was showing like:
001 256 786 This is good^M
459786
So here '459786' is coming to next line. But i need this '459786' also in the same line.
I am not sure if it is possible to remove CR and LF's using the code the program is written in, but that is what we need to do. In Unix ^M is the CR (Carriage return), but I am not sure what LF is? -

The default theme 37.0.1 was updated 4/8/15 and now screens are blurry. Why?
If I disable add-ons and restart, the screen is fine. I've checked other add-ons but the obvious culprit is the default theme. Can you help?
In Firefox's Safe Mode, Firefox is disabled from using hardware acceleration, so the fact that Safe Mode is good but regular mode is not could indicate that Firefox 37 is newly incompatible with your graphics card/chipset driver software. I don't think that using a different theme is likely to help in that case.
You can try disabling Firefox from using hardware acceleration in all modes here:
"3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced
On the "General" mini-tab, uncheck the box for "Use hardware acceleration when available"
This takes effect the next time you exit Firefox and start it up again. Any improvement?
Firefox normally does a bit nicer job with fonts and animations when hardware acceleration is enabled, so if you haven't updated your graphics card/chipset driver software, you might also check your computer manufacturer's website to see whether any updates are available. -
Firefox 4 was working fine. Then one day, when I started up Firefox, it says "Proxy is refusing connections." I solved this by selecting "Auto-Detect Proxy" from Advanced network settings, but my changes are not saved and upon every start-up I must select it again! (I even completely removed my webroot antivirus protection, as it as hindering many proxy related programs, but this seems to not be the source of the problem)
You can find the connection settings in Tools > Options > Advanced : Network : Connection
If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then select "No Proxy"

I just purchased and downloaded Logic 9. I had Logic 8 previously installed. What the **** happened to my Logic 8. It's gone along with the sounds and my my G4 mastering Folder. And... where are all these sounds stored on my computer I can't find them?...

I can enable any theme I choose, but after a period of time (usually an hour, sometimes less), Firefox disables it and activates the default theme.

Generally after updating, sometimes your theme cant cope with the update process. therefor it seems not support with your browser versions. So sometimes Firefox gets security issue and turn off the theme.
For fixing this problem, you can try by removing the theme and install it again.

How can I print to my HP OfficeJet 6500 Wireless Printer from my iPhone 4S which used to work (on prior iPhones) before AirPrint printers were even available? (running Mac Lion OS, all software and HP sw updates are all performed)
I don't get it, I read one post about why would we have to buy an AirPrint Printer when we have used the "print to a wifi printer" just fine in the past? Yes I feel that's exactly what's happening to me now too. I want to print from my iPhone and iPad to my WiFi Printer which is also now connected to my Airport Express WiFi network just fine. No problems.Very glad you added that bit of information because I see different problems similar to this. I'm getting this error message: "User not registered for online use" when i'm trying to download music/ track names from a CD into ITunes on my Windows 8 PC. I'm registered and my itunes account/ appleID are all correct and working.
The ""not recognized for on-line use". error is associated with the Gracenote service that iTunes uses to look up and retrieve metadata for CDs. Some users have reported that this error occurs when trying to import from CD, subsequent to upgrading to version 12. A number of slightly different solutions have been reported (though all of a similar nature).
Try walking through the following steps - before starting you may have to enable hidden files and folders to be viewed - in Windows 7 / Windows Explorer select Organize > Folder and search options, then on the View tab make sure that Show hidden files, folders and drives is selected. Without this you won't see the AppData folder in C:\Users\username\
Exit iTunes
In Windows Explorer, go to the folder C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes
Delete the following files:
CD Info.cidb
com.apple.iTunes.Gracenote.plist
Restart iTunes
Insert a CD and see if details are now correctly retrieved from Gracenote
If this doesn't work:
In iTunes, select Edit > Preferences and make a note (or take a screenshot) of your preferences settings in all relevant tabs
Exit iTunes
In Windows Explorer, go to the folder C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes
Delete the following file:iTunesPrefs.xml
Restart iTunes
Insert a CD and see if details are now correctly retrieved from Gracenote
If this second procedure does work, you'll need to restore other iTunes preferences settings to those that you noted in step 1.
If this one didn't work:
Exit iTunes
Check the following folders:
C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Apple Computer\iTunes
C:\Users\username\AppData\LocalLow\Apple Computer\iTunes
Delete any copies of the following files:
CD Info.cidb
com.apple.iTunes.Gracenote.plist
iTunesPrefs.xml
Restart iTunes
Insert a CD and see if details are now correctly retrieved from Gracenote
Again, if this procedure does work, you'll need to restore other iTunes preferences settings to those that you noted in step 1 of the second procedure. If you're still not able to retrieve CD info:
Exit iTunes
In Windows, select Start > Control Panel > Programs and Features. Find the entry for iTunes, right-click and select Repair.
When this process has finished, restart iTunes
Insert a CD and see if details are now correctly retrieved from Gracenote
If none of these have worked (and almost everything I've seen suggests you should be OK by this point), you may have an issue with the installation and configuration of iTunes itself. If you have got this far, see turingtest2's notes on Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates for advice on how to remove and replace of all components of iTunes. -
IT tunes music - some, a lot, of songs stop playing half way through. the files are all ok and complete? ive tried re - downloading / updating but no joy? can anyone help its most annoying
Yes, in theory re-converting would lessen the quality further. However, I have heard people claim (unsubstantiated) that if you are encoding with the same encoder at the same bit rate, then since it will use the same algorthymn, it won't really change the file. I have absolutely no idea if that is true or not.
But... I figure some slight loss in quality re-encoding is still better quality than a song that only plays half way and then stops, right? I suppose you could always tag those files in the comment section with something like "Re-Encoded" and then later if you gain access to your old CDs, you can then make a Smart Playlist to gather those songs and then re-rip them again from your CDs.

hello..when I download attachments from any email..iPages opens and says some features are not supported and cuts out photos and lengthens my attachments
What format are the attachments? If Pages will not display them properly you will need an application that does. Pages usually opens word documents but can give problems at times, if they are MS Word documents, try Libre Office or failing that you may have to purchase MS Word for Mac, maybe you will need to buy the complete Office suite.
The other possiblity is that you already have a suitable application and Pages is loading the file by default, if so change the default application to open that file type.
