My firefox page disappeared and was replaced by a shortened version, I cannot get return nor bookmarks history etc. How do I go back to the full heading?

as Iwas updating my firefox suddenly the page which appeared is a reduced version with no history, bookmarks, return to previous page etc. I only have firefox/google but very few items above. I have tried to download it again but it always does the same. what has happened and how can I return to have a full featured page as I did have before?

Also please note that the online course site may have redirected you to another site for the test, so it is also a good idea to look into site entries that may match the time.

Firefox 5.0 only has one bookmarks toolbar. How do I go back to the older version that let me have 2 or 3?

When I downloaded Firefox 5.0, I suddenly had only ONE Bookmarks Toolbar. With the older version, I had 2 and was going to add a 3rd one.
1 - Can I add additional Bookmark Toolbars to 5.0 and if so, how do I do it?
2 - If I can't do it, how do I go BACK to the older version? Thank you.

Our hard drive on our 27in Mac crashed and was replaced. Is there any way to get our music/movies from our iTunes account back?

Our hard drive crashed (it was the one that was recalled) and Apple replaced it. Is there a way to access our iTunes account and get our music/movies back? Or do we have to re-download everything? What about music we purchased?

Perhaps without a lecture level 10, it has long been a basic requirement to backup one's computer. Of course who would have thought one would have to backup something that is downloaded from a premium service like Apple's iTunes with the iCloud.
Much of the media purchased from Apple appears to be redownloadable, except for things that are arbitrarily not (because of licensing or whatever, but these reasons are not apparent to us, the lowly customer).
This is hard to understand until one has a problem, and finds the article listed above, or tries to enter a support ticket and ends up in the forum with someone who has obviously answered too many questions.
So how about we ask that a product manager at Apple consider a novel new feature - provide an online locker for movies purchased with real money through iTunes.
Let's call it iCloud and tell the world about it!

I have this issue too on my iPad. I went to the multitasking screen (double click the home button) then force quit iTunes (swipe the iTunes screen shot upwards) then relaunched iTunes and it appeared again. I think it is a bug as I've had to do this a number of times. Hope this works for you.

Why did my saved passwords disappear, and now even with private browsing off I cannot get Firefox to save the passwords over again. Care to help on this????

The most recent version of Firefox just loaded onto my computer and all of my previously saved passwords are gone. To top it off I went in to the Privacy settings and turned off private browsing in order to start saving my passwords again, and it will not save, it doesn't even give me the pop up to ask if I want to save it. Care to help here? I'm way beyond angry right now, some of those passwords were rather unique and I will have a hard time recalling them exactly so not looking forward to having to reset them...

You can force Firefox to reimport the passwords from the signons.sqlite file.

This is some standard guidance that addresses the most common issues with the Flash Player plugin. I'm sure you've seen some of it before, but just in case:
(1) If you have any recorders/downloaders that interact with Flash media make sure they are as up-to-date as possible, or disable them temporarily.
(2) Disable hardware graphics acceleration in Firefox and in Flash

I've set Firefox so it re-opens my old tabs every time I run the program, and also installed Tab Groups. Usually it opens all the tabs in all the groups with no problem, but this time they'd all disappeared and been replaced with a single advert. Is there a way to recover the old tab groups?

It's likely that by the time there is an answer the data to allow recovery will be long gone, but this really make me angry. I have been operating with the same tabs for months now, and by using tab groups... poof, now all gone. I use tabs precisely because digging around to find all these pages is a time consuming task. some I don't use for a week or two, but when I needed them, there they were.
