My Firefox Sync is set on 2 unit, but nothing is syncing

The Mozilla Support instructions state that one needs to be on the new version of Sync in order for devices to share information with each other. I already have the latest versions of Firefox (33.1.1) on both my Origin Laptop and my Surface Pro 3 (both with Windows 8.1), but there is no syncing, i.e., no movement of bookmarks, folders, etc. when managing same on either unit. Please let me know specifically what needs to be done get each unit to sync with each other. Thank you.

Accessing that link was the first action I took. The first item in that link (I set up Firefox Sync but nothing is syncing) is the issue. Please read my first sentence of my original question. I cited the instructions contained in that first item (I set up Firefox Sync but nothing is syncing) in that I already have the latest versions (33.1.1) of Firefox on both my devices. (The instructions state that both devices need to be on the new version of Sync in order to share information with each other). I presume that since I have the latest versions of Firefox on both devices, I also have the latest versions of Sync.

Do you have Restrictions set that prevent adding the apps? (Settings>General>Restrictions).

The new Firefox Start Page - '''about:home''' - isn't the same homepage that was used in earlier versions of Firefox - http://www.google.com/firefox There is no "setting" for the "Search Container" on the about:home "page" - in the Options UI or in about:config .

TS3999 my icloud calendar from gmail syncs with my ipad and gmail but won't sync on icloud on my pc

My ipad mini and my gmail contacts are syncing but if I go to icloud.com not of my calendar events are listed. In the upper left corner it just says CALENDAR. My ipad mini is set up to sync with my gmail account and that seems to be working. I tested entering a new event on my ipad and it synced to my gmail calendar but won't sync to icloud.com apple account.

This was driving me crazy. Sync between Outlook 2007 and my iphone was working perfectly on ios 6 - I primarily sync Calendar, contacts, and notes.
Then everything went bizerk with ios 7... All of a sudden nothing was getting syncronized, but rather multiple Calendars and Contacts showed up in Outlook 2007. Disabling Calendar, contacts, and Notes in my iphone's icloud settings did the trick. Now I have ONE Calendar and ONE contact list in Outlook, fully in sync with my iphone.

On my mac firefox 4 and 3 i can't simply even open it, it just crashes and crashes, although if i try to open it in another acount yes it opens, i'ts like my account has a problem with firefox (tryed cleaning it all with appzaper, but nothing)))

I have an iMac osX snow leopard (newest version) and strangely since some months, strangely when i tryed to open firefox it started crashing, firefox 3 and firefox 4 beta, i open them and in 5 seconds they crash.
Strangely enough on another account on my mac firefox WORKS perfectly, and it seems it's only crashing on my account, i even used cleanmymac and appzaper to clean totaly firefox files and re install it.
Please help me i can't stand chrome going so slow with 10 tabs

Thanks Sig for getting back to me. I really do appreciate it! But I'm not sure how erasing my drive is going to help. And besides, my problem is that I can't even boot to my original Tiger install DVDs anymore. I'm unable to execute any kind of boot-level command -- including holding down "c" key to boot from the drive, holding "T" key to go into Target Disk Mode or holding down "option" in order to bring up my bootable partitions!
Holding down any of these keys after the boot chime simply causes the screen to go black and then hang. The DVD drive will show it's being read from but nothing ever comes up.
Since I can't boot to my install DVD, there is no way for me to access the Disk Utility to erase my hard drive. Do you see the problem?
I am able to boot to my Windows 7 DVD, since I was able to install that to my old Tiger Partition, but I don't see how using my Windows install DVD would help me to re-install OS X.
I need to figure out why none of my boot-level opterations are available. If I was able to boot to my original Tiger discs (or any OS X DVD) than my problem would be solved, but I can't do that!

I thought I synced my mac to my Iphone but nothing shows on the phone

I thought I synced my macbook to my new Iphone5, but when I I try to access the music via the music button on the phone it shows nothing. Help?

When I plug in my phone to my laptop to sync, it automatically opens iPhoto and iTunes and begins syncing. When it's finished, in the past it was sync'd, with everything available. Now, it is empty.
So this time, in an attempt to follow your advice, I plugged in, waited for it to finish doing the pretend sync, then looked for the Device pane you mention, which I've never had to use before. I found it in the menu bar under Edit. There was no list of devices to choose from, only the option to sync the iPhone, which I selected, even though the phone already did that when I plugged in initially. So the click initiated the sync again, and I looked for the "series of tabs along the top of iTunes" as you mention, and there is nothing like that visible, nor are they listed in any of the menu tabs, so am still lost. Remember I am using a 3G. Thank you so much.

Firefox gpo is set in about:config but start page fails

I have firefox adm & GPO 0.9.4 installed and working.
I see where the GPO was been pushed to the clients in the about:config screen.
The home button works correctly,
But the startup page always comes up as the firefox splash screen
and
New Tabs open up blank.
Here are my settings:

What prefs are being set and to what values?
Note that Firefox set some prefs automatically and may reset the Firefox profile folder if it detects a different Firefox version then has been used the previous time, so be cautious to set any prefs that deal with Firefox versions.

I tapped back up and storage button and it worked, but i do not see the apps on my ipad, the ones I have on my iphone.. also the calendor goes the same.. my pc, iphone and ipad all have different info. weren't they supposed to merge when i started using icloud?

Using ACT as database/calendar with iPhone 3GS. On intial sync, i Phone picked up everything but won't sync with new data added to ACT. Any thoughts and tk in advance

This is normal and is how Apple handles photos.
There are NOT duplicate photos.
Just as a song is in your itunes library and you can access that exact same song from a playlist, all photos synced to iphone are in the photo library and those exact same photos (NOT duplicates) can be accessed from the individual albums.
It is working exactly as it should.

I get a Software Update message that says "Update Available" A Security and stability update for Firefox is available: Firefox 8.0.1 ...when I click the link I get a message that Firefox is connecting to the update server but nothing else happens.

When I click the link Firefox shows a status bar and states that it is connecting to the update server, but the status never changes and nothing seems to be happening.

Sync configured on two devices OK, but nothing happens

I setup sync on my work laptop and added my home laptop device to it. When I manage my home laptops sync, I tell it to resync, taking all data from the work machine. The next dialogue tells me about all the things I am about to lose, I say OK.....and nothing. Nothing happens. I don't get the add-ons or bookmarks or anything.
Any ideas? Is there a log file somewhere?

Try a reset:
Hold the Sleep and Home button down for about 10 seconds until you see the Apple logo.
