My First MP3 player and already the disgust

Question

Just picked up a black 5gig Zen Micro and I still haven't opened it of what I've read so far. I was originally searching for the difference in retail boxes since I chose the smaller box over the bigger box because the cashier said the smaller box are the newer versions, but what I just found out is that there's no AC Adapter included w/ the newer releases...WTH is that about!! I read all the sides and I really don't care about iPods and what they did to the Mini's nor do I go on their sites, but the AC Adapter is MANDATORY(like someone said). I don't need the belt clip or the pouch(would be nice to have just in case) but I don't want to pay for an AC Adapter that was originally included. That was really a bad move to please customers and dropping the price doesn't justify removing the AC Adapter...electronics drop price all the time.
I will try to exchange it tomorrow for the bigger box but can somebody who recently bought w/ all accessories included tell me if it says on the outside of the box that the AC Adapter is included?

omg, how horrible, no AC adapter, how cheap is creative hey?
next time READ the package contents so you KNOW what you're actually buying, it's right there on the side of the box. so how is that disgusting?
NEVER believe what a salesperson says and if you're that pithed off then i would think you'd be taking it out on the store, not creative, after all it was the salesperson there that sold you the 'wrong' thing (although really it was your fault for not checking - but it's never your fault is it).
ps.
ipods can also come with no AC adapter.
