My flash drive which worked fine for 2 years crashed

I have a 32G flash drive which worked fine for 2 years. Then the Disk Utility says it needs repairing but the repair command is disabled.
So I transferred the entire content of the drive to another drive .
Now I want to reformat the drive that needed repair and hopefully save keep it as a spare drive. Somehow I don't know how to format it and I'm too lazy to drag up my PC and do it there.
How do I format it straight from my Macbook Air.

It might be time to contact Apple for an out of warranty repair (actually replacement)

This is a known, ans ongoing issue. Rest assured you're not the only one affected. There are several threads here already discussing this, I suggest searhing them out if you want more details, and possible work-arounds for locally hosted content.

Extend a network worked fine for 2 years, now it doesn't

Sorry I'm not at home so I've gotta go off bad memory...
My setup has worked fine for a number of years. A non-simultaneous dual band Extreme is the main base station. I have a Express ethernet-ed to the network working without issue. There's also a newer Extreme farther away that has been wirelessly extending the network without too much issue until now. Airport Utility pops up now saying the newer Extreme is unable to extend. All I attempt to do is restart because all my settings seem to have been fine. Original base set to create with extend checked, and the newer Extreme set to extend with the same ssid, password etc.
So what's changed if I haven't changed anything? Newer versions of something?

First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."

We use an Airport Extreme in my office, which works fine for me. Occasionally we need to have more than one computer running on it, but for some reason it won't connect to the internet. It says we have internet, but won't connect to wifi. What's going on?

I use my computer everyday in our office and have no issue connecting to the internet/wifi, but when my boss comes in and tries to connect it doesn't work. It tells her she has internet, but won't connect to the wifi. We've tried a few different tactics(the basic ones I've seen on here), but nothing seems to be working for us. My computer automatically connects to our wifi.
Just recently the Airport Extreme has started with the blinking amber colored light on the front, which I believe means something is wrong? Can anyone help us figure out what's going on and why we can't get my boss' computer to connect as it should?

Here's an update:
Now the light is not blinking. It's a solid, consistant green. I don't know if it helps to narrow it down or anything, but I just figured I'd mention it.

I am using Firefox 3.3.23 which works fine for me. Whenever I try a newer version, I find that I can read my email, but I am not allowed to send email messages. Is there a fix for this problem so I can switch to the latest version of Firefox??

I am using a web-based email system maintained by my university, not gmail or yahoo or outlook.

Firefox 3.6 needs the Java Second Generation Plugin which comes with newer versions than 1.6.0_03 - update Java, the latest version is 1.6.0_22

23" not working with PC since reconnecting it - it worked fine for a year!!

We had to move my PC and hook it up to another monitor for a day. When we returned it and hooked up my 23" monitor it suddenly doesn't work and we just get the LED light flashing in 3 short bursts. The PC works just fine with any other monitor. Any idea how to get it to work again? I'm at the end of my rope, please help

I had no problems with the Face Time usage on my MACPRO ...then a couple of months ago it just quit working? Says it is off - I click on and preferences and the eternal circle goes non stop?

I called AppleCare yesterday to find out if my Logs had been analyzed and if they had an answer for my FaceTime issue. They did indeed have the answer. It was a "serialization problem". The original logic board in my Mac Pro 1,1 needed to be replaced, right after I purchased it, and the ASP didn't "serialize" the new board. The AppleCare rep told me to take it in to any Apple Store and they will serialize the board or replace it if necessary!!! And they refunded my $19.00 for Single-Incident support since it was due to an oversight by the original ASP! AWESOME!!!!!!!!
I shot over to my local Apple Store and within 5 minutes (FIVE MINUTES!) FaceTime was working!
Not sure if this will help anyone else, but paying $19.00 for AppleCare support is definitely the way to go, and you might even get it refunded!
This was a one week process, since my initial call to Apple, but they reviewed the logs and found the problem. The reps were all very professional and very knowledgeable. I can't say enough about this!! Very Happy!

If you touch id isn't working, then erase the old print and re do it.

I had already tried deleting the review slide itself, though Captivate wouldn't let me - it just hid it. I tried again using the method you recommended but the slide remained in the filmstrip, so I tried deleting again, then re-added it from the Quiz Settings page ... no joy, same behavior as before.
I checked the Advanced Interaction page and confirmed that all of the scored questions were configuredthe same way as the non-scored questions, with the only difference being the pool that they were drawing from.
Other thoughts? I am by no means a Captivate expert but this one really feels like it shouldn't be this hard, and I'm more than a little afraid that it's the file itself that's jacked up ...
