My flash website gets stuck and doesn't load properly

I have developed a flash website that works perfectly well
when i test it on my computer. when i have loaded it onto the web
it seems to get stuck.

if i do a hard refresh (Ctrl & F5) it will load properly.
is there any code that will force the flash movie to fully load...
i am totally stuck and have worked hard on this to allow me
to teach this at the school i work at. any advice would be very
very gratefully received.

you should use preloader code or the onLoadInit() method of
the moviecliploader class to ensure all assets are loaded before
any attempt is made to use those assets.

What happened is it got wet. Water and electronics don't go well together. You need to switch it off and bury it in bag of dry rice for a week at least. This may or may not work - but continuing to try to use it in its current state will kill it for sure. You can enquire at an Apple store about out-of-warranty replacement, depending on where you are.

first ever website so I'm not too familiar with CSS although I've
used Div Tags to contain all the links and used CSS for the

In firefox/IR the background image either doesn't load at all

Start by adding a valid doctype and validating the page.
Also, why do you have a splash page that does nothing other than
open a popup? Many people will not disable their popup blocker just
to enter your site and the splash page adds nothing of
value.

Running a mid 2009 iMac on 10.7.5, 3 gb memory, 320 gb hd.
Suddenly the computer stoped reading DVDs and the only time I can read a CD is if I restart. Quite often when I insert a CD it gets stuck and I cannot get it out until I restart and it shows up on the desktop where I can then eject it.
I have checked and double checked the finder prefs and all looks normal showing a check mark on CDs,DVDs etc. (the ones I want to show up on the desktop)
I have reset the PEAM, repaired permissions with both the disk utility on the computer and the disk utility when I start up in the Recovery Disk. I did notice that sometimes the permission repeat the same correction several times before it moves on, and sometimes it doesn’t. I have Windows installed on a partition but I keep it unmounted until it is needed for my wife’s work. The dock seems to be just fine and all the apps seems to run just fine. When I insert a photo CD iPhoto does not open but when I insert a music CD iTunes does open.
Also, most every time I open iPhoto it takes a long time(sometimes as long as 2 minutes) for it to load.
Sometimes my Mail (Mail 5.3) does not post new mail but most of the time it does.
Once and a while it seems like the computer slows way down but then it seems ok ten minutes later.
All of these ‘things’ seemed to have happen suddenly and I have not downloaded anything from the internet in some time.
Of course the warranty and extended warranty are both no longer in effect having had this computer for more than three years.
I am running Java and Adobe Player because some of the sites I go to a lot require both.

I believe that insufficient RAM may be the source of some of your problems. If you have a RAM of somewhere 4 to 8GB, you will experience smoother computing. 3GB doesn't seem right, so you might want to learn more by going to this site:

I don't know what know what's happening with your optical drive, but it seems you use your drive quite a bit. In that case, look into a lens cleaner for your machine. It's inexpensive, works quite well.

- Inspect the dock connector on the iPod for bent or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store. I suspect a hardware problem due to the hotness. If iTunes can't see the iPod then uor only hope if to contact a data recovery company for getting data off the iPod. If you have an iPod backup you can restore another iPod, iPhone or iPad from the backup to get the data that was in the backup

Remove the song in question from the sync list and see if the rectifies the problem.
If it does, then iTunes believes the song no longer exists on your drive and that will need to be corrected.

When I use the two-finger pinch zoom, the zooming often seems to get stuck and keeps going after I lift my fingers. Whether zooming in or out, the zoom will often continue to the full extent of zoom capability in whichever direction it started. Tapping on the trackpad while it is in runaway zoom has no effect and I just have to wait for it to finish, then resize things manually. Is anyone else having this problem? I did a fresh reinstall of Logic but that didn't help any.

I am not having that issue. Try a hard reset on the phone. Hold down the power button and the home button at the ame time until you see the apple logo

A recent download the CD gets stuck and repeats. I believe that this is a fault in the CD not picked up by Itunes. Downloading again may not sort this out. Who do I contact to tell this to.

Periodically double click the home button and close all the apps in the recently used dock. Then power off and then back on the iPod. This frees up memory. The 4G only has 256 MB of memory.
