Hello all,
I have mailboxes on an exchange 2013 server than need access to public folders on a 2010 server before I migrate them over. I followed the commands in the TechNet article with the subject "Configure legacy public folders where user mailboxes
are on Exchange 2013 servers" (sorry, I wasn't allowed to insert a link because I wasn't verified?). The problem is when I run the last command of "Set-OrganizationConfig -PublicFoldersEnabled Remote -RemotePublicFolderMailboxes ProxyMailbox1,ProxyMailbox2,ProxyMailbox3"
on the 2013 server, using the mailbox name I had created, it says it cannot be found. Of course I checked and the mailbox exists, is configured properly, and so is the new database. The 2013 EAC also sees the mailbox with no issues.
Can someone tell me why I am getting this error?

Thank you for your response. I am the full domain admin, and check and was part of both groups mentioned above. Also, I have only one 2010 server with public folder, and so the command I am running on the 2013 looks like this: Set-OrganizationConfig
-PublicFoldersEnabled Remote -RemotePublicFolderMailboxes PFMailbox1. I even just created a second user and mailbox using the console instead of the shell, and still no luck.
Below is the error I get:

Sometimes a note will not let me edit it on my iPad or iPhone.

Something is happening in the notes app. It's not happening just on the iPad, so it's not actually an iPad issue but an issue with the notes app. Out of nowhere, one of the notes will not be editable. As in, when I try to type in, it won't give me a keyboard, If I select some text from another note, I can't paste it into the document in question. Anyone else experienced this? Am i missing something in the notes app?

To change the iCloud ID on your iOS devices, go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, then sign back in with the new ID. This deletes the account and your iCloud data from your device, but not from iCloud. Provided you are signing back into the same account, your data will reappear on your device when you sign back in.
To avoid losing photo stream photos, save these to your camera roll (if not already there) before deleting the account (tap Edit, tap the photos, tap Share, tap Save to Camera Roll).

IPhone 4s Notes Will Not Upload to iCloud?

I have my @me account set up on the iPhone 4s and "Notes" will not upload to the cloud.
I was able to get contacts, calenders, reminders and mail, but Notes is empty?

I think I found the problem. My iPhone Notes has multiple accounts, and I did not know this.
The choice in Notes is;
All Notes
From My Mac
iCloud
The notes on my iPhone are under the "From My Mac" section, the iCloud account has no notes.
How do I transfer the Notes on my iPhone that are in the "From My Mac" section to the iCloud section?

Notes will not Sync in iTunes with iPhone 3.0

I just installed the new 3.0 OS and notes will note sync across. I use the regular Mail application and every time I select the Sync Notes checkbox in iTunes sync setup it does the sync but then deselects the box on its own. Everything else is syncing perfectly except that. I have both a small list of notes on the iPhone and notes in Mail. I assume all of these should combine. Someone please help.

I was a little confused after updating to 3.0. I kept looking in my email accounts and found nothing, it was only after clicking the mail icon in the dock did I find it in the reminders in the left hand column.

I use Notes daily on my iMac. I have notes open next to my browser at all times for (Big Surprise) Note taking. I rarely use / open Notes on any of my other devices; iPad, iPhone, etc.

For the past couple days it has been unexpectedly and repetedly quitting. I have had to close all applications and restart my computer to open it back up. Most often, only other Application running is Safari. Occasionally I have had Pages, Calculator, Real Time Player, PDF Viewer, Preview open besides Safari and Notes.
I found this post and attempted to follow:

System Preference window Quits, no error message, closes, as soon "Mail, Contacts & Calendar" is selected.

Notes will not sync

I have an original iPhone (2G?-not sure if that's the correct term, but it's a late 2007 model, 8GB) and have just updated its OS from 1.1.4 to 3.1.3 but find that my Notes will no longer sync. iTunes (v9.3) seems to stall for a moment (following the progress bar saying Notes are syncing), then carries on with a warning window over iTunes screen saying "iTunes could not sync to the iPhone '(Name)' because the iPhone disconnected". But it didn't disconnect. I checked all the connections and tried this several times with the same result.
Could it be my Mail prefs? (I'm very cautious about deleting those because I don't want to lose all the settings in my Mail accounts.) Or the iTunes prefs (likewise cautious).
After the iPhone OS update I restored form backup - I understand that's not ideal but I wanted to restore all my Notes (!!) and SMS messages. They all went back onto the iPhone after the update but they don't appear in Mail and won't sync over to Mail. Also, I've tried adding a test Note in mail but that will not sync over to the iPhone either.
Can I actually get the Notes to sync? Many thanks in advance for any advice offered.

I ended up deleting all of the screwed up Notes from mail.
Then, I purchased and downloaded MobileSyncBrowser to recover my notes from my iPhone backup.
The $10 classic version would do the job.

Worked great. I exported each note as a text file using MobileSyncBrowser, then created a new note for that text, pasted the note in. Did that for all 82 Notes, and they sync'd to my iPhone and to my iPad just fine.
Once done recovering my Notes, I backed up the folder ~/Library/Mail/Mailboxes/Notes.mbox for safe keeping.
Before I deleted it, there was a folder called Notes, instead of Notes.mbox, I think?
In any case, my Notes are now back, and are synced to the iPhone and iPad again. Life is good.

Netscape 4.76 not will not display portal page

I understand from metalink document 136120.1 that no 4.7 Netscape browsers are supported.
I have a portal page that will not display for my 4.7x surfers.
Is this remedied by the latest patch? Will it be a problem in v2?
Is it clear that this basically keeps us from using portal for public sites?

maybe you could try to rename the user profile, so windows will generate a new profile, when this user logs on to his machine. afterwards you can copy the important data from the renames profile to the new profile. perhaps this eliminates the problem.
if you switch javascript off, you will also get just a small bar from the portal. maybe on this client something is installed, that switches javascipt off?

Notes will *NOT* sync in iCloud across devices

I've tried everything I've read in these forums about getting Notes to sync across iOS devices via iCloud, but with no luck. I've deleted and reinstalled iCloud accounts, turned iCloud on/off/on, restarted devices, made sure *every* setting for iCloud, Mail, and Notes is identical on all devices. The only Notes account is iCloud -- no "On My iPad' or "On My iPhone" at all, so there's no question Notes are being saved to the iCloud account. Photostream and documents syncing works fine, but Notes, absolutely not. The devices are iPhone 5s, iPad mini retina and iPad 2, all with iOS 7.0.4. Any ideas out there? I'm ready to bag iCloud and just email Notes to my other devices, which at least will work. All Iv'e done so far is lose the Notes I had trying to get this thing to work.

Sounds like you've checked everything. Only thing I could suggest is emailing all your notes to yourself, then deleting the iCloud account, signing back in, then try recreating the notes from the emails and see if they sync now (which I realize might be a lot of work if you have a lot of notes). You would also want to save your photo stream photos to your camera roll before deleting the account to avoid losing them.

Licencing on two laptops not, will not allow me to update to Adobe XI

I purchase Adobe Professional 9 and is now updated to Acrobat XI Pro, I have a 2nd laptop which I also need to install Adobe Professional on I can get Pro 9 working but cannot get it to update to XI Pro, it will not accept the serial number. Any ideas?

You have to copy the install files over to the new other laptop and run the install. You will be asked for the S/N of the qualifying AA9.

Notes will not sync from iCloud to iPad

I just finally switched to icloud, received a note via email. It appears on my imac, but not on my iPad. iPad settings are on for notes.

me again everyone, I've managed to find my contacts on my iPhone. When I look under the contacts app it just says "no contacts", but if I look at the contacts tab via Phone they all appear, weird bug.

What broadband router do you have?
What model Time Capsule do you have?
If you changed the system over from another router.. have you rebooted the entire network.. particularly a cable modem.. did you power off for at least 20min..

IPad won't shut down. Notes will not open

iPad2 6.0 - will not shut down. Screen goes dark when pushing both buttons, but the red arrow slide bar does not appear. Apple logo reappears & opens password screen.
Notes closes immediately after opening.

Try a reset:
1. Hold the Sleep and Home button down (together) for about 10 seconds
2. Until you see the Apple logo (very important)
