My form 9i is not running(I am new in form 9i)

I am really sory, to disturb, this quite old trouble shooting. Since I am trying this now It is quite new to me. I am try to run my Form 9i it not running. I have tried with starting the OC4J, and made correction in run time tab the defualt and corrected port,
before this it was give the error
of
FRM-10142: The HTTP listener is not running on scooby at
port 8888. Please start the listener or check the runtime
preferences.
I corrected the same with OC4J and the run time tab
now the error is coming
the page can not be not found
I am trying this things last 5 days no option for me please I badly requre some help in this regard.

I was going to upgrade from 10.6.8 to mavericks 10.9.2, but the installer program notified me stating my appleworks 6 app will not run on the new set up. is there a procedure to keep or switch my documents in order to obtain the mavericks upgrade?

I suggest that you clone your current drive with 10.6.8 to an external drive. If you have any issues after upgrading to Mavericks, you can boot back into 10.6.8.
Both of these applications can be used to create a clone. If you need help creating your clone, let us know.

did u check all the pre-requisites on the clone server before cloning. Please post contents of logfile here.

Fmx is not running on brower with out form builder in system

i am using oracle database 10g(10.1.0.2.0)
Operating system :windows xp
browser: internet explorer 6
form : Forms [32 Bit] Version 10.1.2.0.2 (Production)
reports also same version...
i can able to compile and run my forms through oracle form builder. and i can get the out put on browser also. i configured browser setting in form builder as internet explorer as runtime browser.so i can get the output on internet explorer.
But my problem is i unable run the fmx directly. if i click on fmx it's not running on browser.Its just in idle position even it's not giving any error also.. is it require any settings to achieve this issue can anybody guide if any..
Can any body please give me the solution to my problem i am strggling for this issue...

i tried same thing but still i unable to run the fmx on browser in my url tab i wrote like this

But still its coming error on browser like "Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."The url is well, the problem with the browser might be with the jInitiator's version, you may try by changing the jInitiator's version, or by changing the Internet Explorer's version to 7.
Try this in your url:
http://indra-123:8889/forms/frmservlet?config=jpi&form=MODULE1.fmxWith this new parameter you are using java instead of jInitiator.
Have you tried using other browser like firefox ??

Forms 9iDs could not run sample form

I downloaded the windows version of 9IDs release 2 and tried to run a sample form. The applet get initialized. the login window pops up. once the user and database information is passed the applet tries to connect but this message pops up finally:
"FRM-92100:Your connection to the server was interrupted.
This may be the result of a network error, or a failure on the server
you will need to reestablish your session.

are you trying to run the demos on Oracle9iAS ? I thought the readme is saying that you can only run this from Oracle9iDS. Please make sure that you run this in 9iDS and not 9iAS.

If you just need it for one site you can use the portable version of Firefox 2 instead. You can install the portable version on a USB key, or if one is not available choose the custom install and install it somewhere on your hard drive. The portable version will not interfere with your current version of Firefox. You can get the portable version from http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox_portable - the link for Firefox 2.0.0.20 is near the bottom of that page.

OSX will not run on my new Seagate 7200 rpm 160GB drive

I tried 'restoring' to this drive as an external drive but this Macbook will not start up from it. I have been all over the internet and seen where people are using this drive as a replacement internal drive. I partitioned it as one partition and then as two 80s. Each time I try to install OSX on it from my restore disk it shows up as a drive, but with a red exclamation and OSX says it cant go on that disk. I can write to the disk and it mounts as both internal and external, but I can not figure out how anyone is getting OSX to run from it. The drive is a Seagate ST916082 3ASG. It is a SATA, and both it and my previous Toshiba drive will mount in the external case that I got for it. I think it is an OSX weirdness.

Changing to the Guid Partition Table is an option when reformatting.
Reformat will wipe out all data on the disk.
You don't have to worry about OS 9 drivers. Your MacBook does not run OS 9.

The JavaScript for my form field does not run

I am running Windows XP and have Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro installed. I am using the Wizard to create a form. For a particular field I need to run a JavaScript.
1. For "Select Trigger", I selected, "Mouse Up".
2. For "Select Action", I selected, "Run a JavaScript".
I then added the very simple JavaScript, below.
if (qty < 12) {
    discount = 0;
} else {
    discount = shipping * 0.1;
However, it did not work, as expected. After spending more than a day trying to figure out why it does not work, I realized that the reason it did not work was because the value of "Select Action" is not being retained. It just returns to "Execute a menu item" ... even if I check the "Locked" checkbox. Please help me.

I am not doing a calculation. Unfortunately, this cannot be done because I have an "IF" condition. This is why I am utilizing the "Action" tab NOT the "Calculate tab. Please see the screen shots below:

There is no way that I could execute it as a calculate.

Forms demo 9i not running

I have installed forms 9i demo using oracle universal installer in forms90\demos directory.
then i made change in preferences->runtime->application server url =http://manoj-pc:8888/forms90demo/f90servlet. But when i am running the demo from the shortcut from desktop it is giving the error "Resource /forms90demo/demo90.html not found on this server" 404 Not Found , please help me to run these demoes.

it has some line to modify the "For instance, you run the Demos from the icon on the desktop which will start the \forms90demo\ instance of the Servlet and then try and run from the Forms builder which will by default use the \forms90\ instance. To work around this, either: Change the Application Server URL in the Forms Runtime Preferences to use \forms90demo\ rather than \forms90\ and make any testing changes that you require to forms90demo.cfg rather than formsweb.cfg, or restart OC4J."
i have made the above changes but "any testing changes that you require to forms90demo.cfg rather than formsweb.cfg, or restart OC4J" this change is not done by me. i don't know what is this change.

Firefox will not run except on new download.

Firefox will not start under any circumstance from any shortcut, nor when started under Administrator or in safe-mode or with all apps disabled. It will start after a new download but only once. I cannot access profile manager from start/run, each time I get a 'Parsing error' message. I have tried basic removing and also removing complete with all profile details. I have performed re-starts after deletion and before and after re-installing. I have tried backdating the computer many times to different dates and the best result is an 'XML error' message on re-start attempt. Internet Explorer still works but frequently with 'Error on page' message. I have Mcafee installed but have had for years with no previous problems.

Downloading new version of itunes and it crashes my internet. Ipod touch will not run with out new version. Have done many system restores and reset internet settings but still crashes net when i download any version HELP please

FCP 5 not running smoothly on new Macbook Pro

Hoping there's a simple answer for this problem: Just got a macbook pro (2.16 GHz Intel Core Duo / GB DDR2 SDRAM) and am importing projects originally created on my G5. As soon as I play a sequence that has the smallest of rendered effects- repo, dissolve, etc.- it stops with the "frames dropped dring playback" window. Do I need to blow away and re-render them on the macbook pro? Does FCP automatically recognise the new intel chip or does it need to be instructed to do so?
Any info would be helpful....

Are you running FCP 5.1 or just 5.0.X? 5.1 is the universal application designed to run on either the new macs or the G5's.
Also where is your media stored? On the internal drive, over a network (what type of connection), firewire 400 or 800 dirve?
What type of footage are you editing and are your sequence settings set correctly?
A little more info would help people to give you some direction.
