My form will not come out of query mode. Why?

I have a simple form with 2 canvases the second canvas apears as
a modal window and inherits the main menu (6i Smartbar menu).
I place the modal screen in query mode and execute query, if the
form returns no records it then becomes stuck in query mode. The
cancel query mode button returns the message
FRM 41009 Function Key not allowed. I really don't see why this
key should not work, Is this a bug in forms 6i?
The only work around make the second canvas a form in it's own
right which is a rather un-necessary solution.

Try to do Soft Rest to Get it Back on.. If you can once you tried my first suggestion Run your Razr in Safe Mode to see if a Third Party app is Causing the Issue. Here are the instructions for a Soft Reset and Running Safe Mode

Safe mode is a method that allows the device to run without non-essential applications. This is beneficial for troubleshooting 3rd party applications.
Enable Safe mode
Power the device off.
Press and hold the Power button then select Power off.
Power the device on.
Press and momentarily hold the Power button.
When the Motorola Dual Core screen appears, simultaneously press and hold Volume Up / Down keys.
Continue to hold the Volume Up / Down keys until Safe mode appears in the lower left.
Disable Safe mode
Power the device off.
Press and hold the Power button then select Power off.
Power the device on.
Press the Power button.

Sounds like you can't update your device. You don't mention an error that it gives you. Take a look at both of these articles to troubleshoot.

If you started your device in recovery mode by mistake, restart it to exit recovery mode. Or you can just wait—after 15 minutes the device will exit recovery mode by itself.

This is a reconditioned replacement phone from the apple genius guys which i paid £130 for and only got 3 months warranty with and as soon as the warranty run out it crashed on me and never been able to get it back out of recovery mode. I've been back to the apple genius guys and they have told me there's nothing they can do other than charge me £130 to take the phone off me and give me another reconditioned phone with a 3 month warranty. This is a bad hardware error, Baseband Error. Some have reported getting through this error by Restoring iPhone with the SIM Card removed. Try that. Try restoring with different computer. Search Web some more for other thoughts.

HP LaserJet P3005x will not come out of sleep mode

Printer will not come out of sleep mode (after being in sleep mode for an extended period of time (over 24 hrs)). When this happens, I can not ping the printer and pressing any of the buttons on the printer will not bring it out of sleep mode. I'm testing now to see if I can recreate this with the printer attached to my PC via USB.

I understand your monitor is not coming out of sleep mode. Take a look at the following support document, Resolving Problems with Sleep and Hibernate Modes (Windows 7). Step 3 might be of particular interest to you, as you mentioned your keyboard and mouse are not really working for you either. Perhaps it is another connected device that is causing the issue? Without knowing what you did and exactly what happened (error messages) all I can suggest is:
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

When you updated did you have to create a different code for the install? I just got another tip from a different user and found out (and didn't think about it at the time) the install code has to be used to open the phone...NOT the previous version code! Got mine open. Good luck.

Try a Reboot press & hold menu button & power button hold both down until you see Apple Logo you will not lose any data. But you may need to do this more than once. I never use PCs for software upgrades or downloads I always use wifi had no problems with iOS 8.1 B sydd

IPod will not come out of "hold" mode

Hi. I have a gerneration 3 (i think) iPod (the kind with four round buttons on the front) and have a potentially severe problem. It thinks it is in "hold" mode all the time all of a sudden and will not respond to my pushing its buttons at all. I can't re-set it. The battery is fully charged and it responds when I plug it in or connect it to a computer, but I cannot make the lock icon come off the screen. All my files on it seem to be intact. Does anyone have any tips on what I can do to resolve this issue myself (without having to visit a repair shop). I live very far away from an Apple store and I don't drive. Any info would be much appriciated.

Sorry, I did try that -- it was actually the first thing I thought of to do. I tried it again when you suggested it just to be safe, and conditions stayed the same. Since then I have hooked up my remote (which I never use so I did not think of it right away) and it is responding to the commands I can give it through the remote. Unfortunately the Pod itself remains in hold so I can't use the click wheel or anything. Is there a way to reset it through the remote that you know of? Do these details give you any ideas about what the problem is?

I-touch will not come out of recovery mode, even after restore attempts

iTouch became unresponsive after charging. The screen dispalyed icons indicating it should be connected to iTunes.
iTunes said that it was in recovery mode and needed to be restored.
Multiple attempts at restore have been unsuccessful. After each restore "completes", the ipod reappers in iTunes saying that it is in recovery and must be restored.
ITouch buttons will only shut it down by holding down the top black button. Power down never appears on screen, home button is unresponsive.
iTouch is only 6 months old.

Did you check your security software settings, to allow iTunes to contact Apple during the process?

Hi, my 1 year old iPhone has gone into Recovery Mode after a failed restore and im at my wits end. I get error message, after error message. I have windows xp so its a lot harder to use all the downloads that are available. I havent jailbroken my iPhone. Ive tried, iRecovery, TinyUmbrella, and changing the Firmware. Still that annoying cable, arrow and iTunes symbol. I cherish my phone and if anyone can give me any tips to get it out of this endless loop id be much appreciated. If I try to restore it, it gets to the very last bit and then, bam, 'iTunes cannot restore this iPhone due to blah blah blah.' I know the only solution for this is probably giving up or taking it to the apple store, which will cost me just as much as the phone did. Im lost. Help. Please. :'/

Generally, the 1015 error has to do with jailbroken devices, or computes that have been used to jailbreak phones.

Printer now will not come out of sleep mode with new MiFi 5510L

I have a HP 3522 All In One wireless printer networked via my MiFI router that goes into sleep mode as it is supposed to after a set period of idle time but the only way I can get it back on line/wake up is to unplug it and plug it back in. While asleep, none of the buttons work and all print jobs fail because the 'printer cannot be found'. I never had this problem until I upgraded from an older MiFi unit to the 5510L.
I am using a MacBook Pro and MacBook Air both running OS X Mavericks 10.9.1
Any ideas?

KSutherland, I'm so sorry this is occurring with your phone. I understand how frustrating this can be when you're trying to use your phone and have to pull the battery. I researched information about your phone that have been reported by customers and didn't find this as a known issue. I also show the Bionic received a software update on December 9, 2011. I recommend updating your phone to the new software, which can assist with. I listed a link below with information and instructions for the update.

Additionally, I would also like to recommend clearing the cache and browser history. This can help the device from having slow functionalities. The steps are below:
From a Home screen, select the App menu (located in the lower right).
Select Browser.
If the application icon is missing, select App menu filter (located at the top) then select All apps.
Select Menu.
Select More.
Select Settings.
Within settings you can clear the following :
--Clear all, which clears all deletes history, cache, cookies, form data and passwords
--Clear cache, which clears visited website content stored on the device. The cache enables the browser to download only the content that has changed since the last time a website was visited. Since the browser only downloads changed content, pages are loaded faster.
--Clear history, which clears a listing of URLs (website addresses) that have been recently visited.
--Clear cookie data, which clears some cookies contain customized preference and logon information for previously visited websites. Once deleted, the website may prompt for this information again.
