There is a new security feature in iOS 7 called Activation Lock. You need the
AppleID and passcode used to activate the iPad or it will be useless to you.
There is no workaround.
Suggest you try very hard to remember that AppleID and passcode. Did you try the
AppleId you used to log into this forum?

Reset it by holding the power and home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo, then release. This just restarts it, you won't lose any data by doing this.

Lately I have been trying to download some apps but when i click install, the appstore comes up with a message saying that my apple ID can't be used in the iTunes store. New iphone 4 indicates that temporary voicemail password has expired, select a new one. In trying to do so, the first step is to enter current password. I either did not have one, or I don't remember it. Could the prompt mean just to enter a new password?

Thanks.I had a similar issue but mine said cannot verify username and password as it was aparently incorrect!
To resolve this i went to generals: App store and clicked on my apple id. when a pop up shows click on view Applie id account. There select the payment process and select NONE in the type of card instead of your visa or mastercard. save it and then you can try getting into facetime., It should be good. It worked for me. Unfortunately on these days I'm in a country that Apple don't have any retail store here and for sake of time I prefer to fix it myself to DHL it to the nearest country to use its warranty. I just got a new iPod touch 4th generation and I'm trying to connect to my router and my iPod says, 'Cannont find network.' I don't know what to do! No other networks come up on the list so I can't 'tag' along with thier wifi. Please help. I need advice.
What type network is yu router set up for? The 4G iPod can only connect and see 2.4 GHZ networl like B, G and the 2,4 GHz N. There is also a 5 GHz N but the iPod will not even seethat network.

I have a problem, I have a new macbook pro. I updated the software without problems; then I tried to update iPhoto, iMovie and Garageband, but an error was displayed "You have updates available for other accounts". I don't have any other account, i tried everything found on the net but nothing seems to work...Please help me!!!!Same thing for me it writes "To update this application, sign in to the account you used to purchase it."

If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 6.1. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.

I have got a Activation Lock on my iPhone and I need to get it activated. I don't know what Apple ID I was using with my iPhone. It shows as U***@h******.uk which is too short to be my email address. I have reset all my Apple ID passwords and none are activating my iPhone. I have also been into the apple store and they have tried to find out the Apple ID my iPhone was using but this was not successful. The serial number of my iPhone is: C32JN641DTWF
You are going to need to change the email address you use with your old ID. Once you have got access to your old account you will then log into both accounts at the same time on your Mac and transfer your data to a single account. We can do this later, but need you to get access to your old account first.

no you can't as iTunes requires you to go to the iPad and turn OFF find my iPhone
