When I bought my new iPhone, I stopped getting iMessages to my computer. Before I got my 5S, iMessages came straight through to my Mac, as well as my phone. Now they only go to my phone. How can this be fixed? I am using a MacBook Pro (Retina) which is up-to-date with all software updates.

Sign out of iMessage on the Mac:
Messages ▹ Preferences ▹ Accounts ▹ Sign out
and on the iPhone:
Settings ▹ Messages ▹ Send & Receive ▹ Apple ID ▹ Sign out
Then, on the phone, tap
Use Your Apple ID for iMessage
Sign back into iMessage on both devices and test. If there's no change, you may have to wait for a change in network conditions.

I know this is a standard MAC message but I never got it with Firefox before changing computers. I also downloaded Firefox 5.0 and it is still doing it.
Thanks, Jim, for taking the time, but the reply is unfortunately vague in the exact area of my confusion! "you need to copy that file to your new computer..." Well, the Import/Export instructions make it seem as if the two computers should be able to communicate this file thru wifi, but that's the linkage I can't seem tocreate with Import/Export. Should I instead email a copy to myself (thats what applecare suggested)? Copy it to and from a thumb drive? But then place the file where? And the article was helpful, but should I be trying to move the Library file or the Library.xml file (as iTunes Help suggests)? Sorry to be so clueless about it...I suppose I buy Apple in the hopes of not having to think about this stuff, which approach seems not to be serving me well. Thanks again for your time!

cant get my new iphone 4S to sync with my computer. I already downloaded the new itunes on my computer and still it just locks it up.
Restore the phone as New, and do not reload your backup. If you still have a problem with it you have a hardware problem.

I have just recieved a new iphone however i cannot log in to my icloud. i last logged in on monday at the apple store however since then no luck. i did notice the techician did not log out of my account.

I have 2 Apple ID"s, one for buying app's (since the first iPhone) in the store and another one for operating with iCloud things. Now, after installation/activation of my new iPhone 5s, the Touch ID is connected to the iCloud world. Conclusion, if I like to buy a new app. I still have to fill in the password for the other Apple ID. In the past I asked Apple to may join both, but that seems to be impossible.
Anyone a solution?I am logged into the same things on both my iPhone and my MacBook Pro, except for mail. I use a gmail IMAP account and everything there already works on both machines. The iCloud account on my iPhone uses one Apple ID and the one on the Mac uses the second Apple ID.

If you belive it was dangerously hot, be careful and take it back. If the iPhone is working fine now, it may be OK.

Just got a new iphone 5. When I plug in the ear buds, the audio still comes out of the phone itself. How do I transfer the audio to the ear buds?
Make sure it's plugged in all the way, because it clicks when it's no all the way In and many users get confused. If not try turning it.

A friend of my daughter's used my mac computer when she got her new iphone to help set it up. Now that I have a new iphone, her apps and all the app store information is stuck on my phone. Her app account keeps showing up when I try to install something new, and I obviously do not have her password. How do I get this off my phone??
Open iTunes on the computer. Without any iPhone plugged in, go to iTunes' menu and do Store > Sign Out.
The click the iTunes Store row on the left of the iTunes display. You can then sign on from the signon row on the right side of the display using the correct Apple ID and password. Then you'll be all set! -

Just got a new iPhone 6, selling my 5 to Amazon. Trying to follow Apple instructions to erase content before sending but 5 will not connect to iCloud so I can't proceed - when promoted to enter password I keep getting "Verification failed. There was an error connecting to iCloud". I have checked apple id/password multiple times and they are correct. Any ideas out there? Thanks in advance

every once in a while my iPhone 5 fails to recognize my Apple ID. I don't have to go all the way to Restore to Factory Settings, I just have to turn off the phone. (Hold down top button until screen asks to slide if you want to turn it off.) Give it a few seconds, turn it on again. -

I have got a new iphone recently. But I can't restore in app purchases. I have tried many times to reset it threw email and never got the message. The reset link for the security question will send the email to your rescue email account : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312 - that is the email account that you are checking, and you've checked the spam folder on it as well as the inbox, and tried clicking the reset link again ?
If you aren't receivineg the email then you will need to contact Support in your country to get the questions reset.

When they've been reset you can then use the steps half-way down the HT5312 link above to view your rescue email address to check that it's correct, in case you need to use it in the potential future use
