My friend has some music on his IPhone 5 that I would like to have on my iPhone 4S. I would like to transfer it to my phone without having to plug it up to a computer. Is there anyway I can do this?

First of all, there may well be an ownership issue. If your friend bought the music using their Apple ID, they own the music and you cannot play it. You can get around that, but it would definitely require computers, two iTunes apps on those computers, and more.
Next, even placing ownership issues aside, there is not really a way to transfer music. The app called "Bump" transfers some data between iPhones, but I don't think music is included.

No there isn't. You aren't stating which iPod that you have. If you have an iPod Touch that has wIfi access, you can download the iTunes purchased music again for free as long as you use the same Apple ID that you bought the music with originally.

In order to get your messages to show up on your other phone, you would need to have a backup of the phone with the messages, and then restore the new phone from that backup.

If everything else that you try fails, I would try using another computer. Since you don't care about saving any data, any computer that is running the latest version of iTunes might be able to restore the iPad. You could make an appointment at an Apple Store Genius Bar and they can do it for you.
If that isn't feasible for you, try using a different cable, a different USB port. reboot the computer, and reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears on the screen. Then try again.

I upgraded to 20gb iCloud but it isn't enough to back up. I get constant error messages saying there is no backup space and I've not been able to use the upgrade. Apple promised to refund then didn't. Please help is there anyway I can use this space?

If you were told they would refund the price for the iCloud storage - Contact AppleCare and ask to speak with a senior advisor. Have the case number for the promised refund available.
If you are trying to update your device, but you don't have sufficient space to download and install the update, you need to delete content from your device. Buying storage in iCloud does not add space to the device which is what you need.
You can always update using a computer with iTunes installed - this method is faster, and will allow you to make a backup on the local computer (Local backups restore faster than iCloud backups).

You can view the number that the message came from and the date/time it was sent online through MyVerizon on your Usage details, or your Detailed Bill. It may take a while for that information to come though, and if you have no phone active on your line and delivery fails, i don't think it will show at all.

I do not want to type "£", i want to type "#". Shift+3 = "£" option+3 changes me to desktop 3 insead of typing a "#". When i show the keyboard viewer and hold option it shows that by typing 3 i will type a "#", but i do not, instead i am taken to desktop 3. Click Sign In and enter your Apple ID.

Click Deauthorize All.
NOTE: Apple limits the Deauthorize All option to once every 12 months.
