She is scared because she is planning to leave him, and I am helping her formulate a plan on how to do so (in the form of finding her an apartment, etc.). He is an abusive guy (more mental than physical.... She claims there is lots of drinking, punching holes in walls, destroying possessions, and making threats of killing himself or others if she ever leaves) and she doesn't want him to follow her once she finally leaves. In the mean time, any time I send her a message, he checks it from either his home computer or his phone (I'm not sure which) and knows exactly what I've said to her.
Now he has threatened me with things like "ur done" and "ur finished" if I don't stop talking to her.
Obviously, if the problem escalates, I will go get a restraining order and let the police handle it from there, but in the mean time, I would like to safely communicate with this girl and help her get her life in order for her eventual departure.
I have an iPhone 5, she has an iPhone 4s, and he has an iPhone 4. I don't know what their home computer is like (brand, model, operating system etc.).
I know I'm using iOS6, not sure what his or her phones are using but I imagine they'd have upgraded as well.
Only including this last bit of information in the off chance it helps.

How does he do this? Can he check our text history from his computer? Or is every text I send her popping up on his phone too for some reason?
I want to go and check my history with her as well just to see exactly what he's seen us say to each other because she told me yesterday that he was able to read our whole text history (which I find highly unlikely - but I don't doubt it was more than the one text I sent her a couple days ago that drew our attention to the fact that he was monitoring our texting).
Besides, I wouldn't mind finding that there was a way to access my text history online somewhere. I'd feel more comfortable deleting private texts from my phone in the future that way.

I used to be able to open new tabs in a window, I am no longer able to do so. How can I fix this?
This week Firefox would not allow me to open a blank tab when I click on the + tab at the top or when I press Ctrl T. I used to be able to open new blank tabs. This is frustrating. I have looked at the tools/options and help sections and cannot figure it out. How do I fix this?

Do you have a dictionary installed and selected?
You can see which dictionary is selected if you right-click in a text area and open the Languages submenu.
At least one dictionary should be installed and have a check mark to indicate that it is selected.

*Make sure that [X] "Check Spelling" in the right-click context menu is check-marked.

While in firefox I am able to click on finder and see the missing toolbar. As soon as I go back to firefox it disappears.

I play an app called Hotties for Sale. Until yesterday I was able to operate several accounts on the game simultaneously by using separate tabs for each account. Now I can only open one account at a time with a single tab. When I open a second tab I just get a duplicate of the previous one. How can I fix this please?

Give iPhoto a look at for creating the slideshow. It's easy to assemble the photos in an album in iPhoto, put them in the order you want and then make a slideshow of them. You can select from various themes and transitions between slides and add music from your iTunes library.
When you have the slidshow as you want use the Export button at the bottom of the iPhoto window and export with Size = Medium or Large.
Save the resulting Quicktime movie file in your Movies folder.
Next, open iDVD, choose your theme and drag the QT movie file into the menu window being careful to avoid any drop zones.
Then follow this workflow to help assure the best qualty video DVD:
Once you have the project as you want it save it as a disk image via the File ➙ Save as Disk Image menu option. This will separate the encoding process from the burn process.
To check the encoding mount the disk image, launch DVD Player and play it. If it plays OK with DVD Player the encoding is good.
Then burn to disk with Disk Utility or Toast at the slowest speed available (2x-4x) to assure the best burn quality. Always use top quality media: Verbatim, Maxell or Taiyo Yuden DVD-R are the most recommended in these forums.
The reason I suggest iPhoto is that I find it much easier to use than iMovie (except for the older iMovie 6 HD version). Personal preferences showing here. -
I'm trying to setup my new iphone and the Apple ID it asks for is my friends old Apple ID that she no longer has access to. How can I fix this so I can use my new phone? The first step asks for my iCloud info but then asks for my friends after I agree to the terms.
The iPhone is new, has never been used. When asked if I want to set it up as a new phone, restore from an iTunes backup, or my iCloud backup I selected iCloud. It then askes for me to sign in with my Apple ID, I then agree to the terms, then it asks for me to sign into my friends Apple ID. She and I have used each other's computers in the past so I assume this is where her information is coming from. The problem is she no longer had that email or Apple ID and has no way of gaining access to it and therefor I am unable to proceed.
I suppose my question is, how can I remove her information from mine so I can setup my new phone using iCloud. Also, I have already checked my Apple ID online and nowhere on my account is her information listed. -

When you email from iPhoto, you have a choice as to the size of the picture - choose medium and your friends will be able to see them. By the way, do your friends click on the photo attachment in the mail to open it?

Sorry, there's no way around Activation Lock. So, give the phone back to your "friend", as you will never be able to use it.

There is nothing to fix. The ipod is designed to stop you from being able to steal music as you are doing.
Erase the music you got illegally and sync your own music to your own ipod. -
My icloud account is registerd to an old e-mail adres which is not available anymore. But icloud still tells me that the account is not verified, and i have to check my e-mail, but i can't. How can i solve this?
It's a really bad idea to post your email address - it's an invitation to spam - and I've asked the Hosts to remove it.
You should be able to change your ID at http://appleid.apple.com - click on 'Manage your Account', then in the first pane which opens you will see your Apple ID with an 'Edit' link to the right of it. Click that and you should be able to change the ID to your email address. Then you can sign in with it in System Preferences>iCloud to open an iCloud account and create a new @icloud.com address.
If you are not inextricably wedded to using your existing ID you can skip this step: just follow the method described by IMP68 here:

this will enable you to create an ID which is also the @Icloud.com address which you choose. (You can still sign into iTunes with the old ID if you want to - there is no connection between the two.) -
I have an IMac which is my main computer and two IPads and an Ipod Nano.
Obviously we use these in sync as an when required via Itunes.
I have recommended a friend to have an IPAD2 and she wishes to load some of her existing cds into her Itunes Account.
If I wish to do this with my own, it is simple as we simply use the Imac which transfers content into Itunes.
However, my friend does not have a separate computer so I wish to load her CD's into Itunes and then sync to her Ipad without interfering with my own library and using her Apple ID.

You cannot. Copy everything you want form the old computer to the new one, then sync it.
it basically says you have to erase your iphone to sync to a new itunes!
Correct Iphone will sync, or manually manage, with one and only one computer/library at a time. Syncing, or manually managing, to another will indeed erase the current content. -

You can also do a clean reinstall and download a fresh Firefox copy from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html and save the file to the desktop.
Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.
It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
You can initially skip the step to create a new profile, that may not necessary for this issue.

I've been having problems with pdf and Firefox on my iMac. In the absence of being able to find an 'uninstall' function (and reinstall with a newer version), I deleted Firefox by dragging the application item to the trash and deleting. Then I downloaded a new Firefox version 5. But, when I try to open it, the above message comes up. This happens even if I shut down and restart. what do I need to do?
I have tried everything I could to fix this, but some things require actually being on Firefox, and since I cannot get on, I cannot click on the tabs to do it. I have even totally uninstalled firefox, and that has not fixed this. I still get the same message that firefox is running and I need to close it or restart (which I have also tried dozens of times). I have removed things like Java, and that has not helped either. If I cannot even get on line in firefox, how can I fix this. I am not crazy about using internet explorer, but right now, it is my only option. I even tried to start in safe mode, and the same message box pops up!
