My Friend Stole My iPhone
So my friend took my iPhone on Friday. He ran away and refused to tell me what he did with it. He erased all safari history, closed all the apps, and gave it back after driving me home.
My question is: Could he have made it so whenever I send a text or search something on safari he gets it on his phone? He has a windows phone, but I'm getting very paranoid.
No, as long as you change the iMessage send and recieve settings on your other Apple devices and change your Apple ID passwords
Why in the world didn't you set a passcode on the phone and set up iCloud and Find My iPhone (as you were prompted to when you activated the phone)? These would have made the phone useless to him or any thief.
This person is in no way your "friend." You (or your parents) need to report this to your local police.

If you activated Find My Phone before it was lost or stolen, you can track it only if Wi-Fi is enabled on the device. What you cannot do is track your device using a serial number or other identifying number. You cannot expect Apple or anyone else to find your device for you. No one can find it for you. Report the theft to the police. If you don't have a serial number for it, then the police cannot help you at all. If you registered it at Apple:

I am trying to use Words with friends on my iphone 5. How do I get rid of "Connect to itunes to Use Push Notifications
Reading some older threads from 2012 and 2011 it appears the problem was present even then. Part of the problem was due to people using multiple or different account id's on the various devices. In my case, I only have one ID and it is the same on all devices yet the iPhone and iPad are still throwing the same error when I try turning on iTunes Match. This is very frustrating . . . any help out there? Thanks.

Last year A friend purchase a iPhone 4S - 32GB White.
When she purchase iPhone 4S, didnt realised she need to download Find Phone, has she thought it was already in iPhone 4S, system. I approved lots Apple Store in Malaysia, non could help me and all said the same, if you don't download Find Phone, there's no way you can trace it back. No doubt what they all had said is not wrong....but my heart said, am sure there's always a way to track or trace it back even without the Find Phone Apps. Knowing myself don't have such powerful system to find the phone back. Every Poison there's Anti-Dos for it. I know you have the power and system to track & trace the phone back by Apple. If Apple can build such powerful smart phone am sure there's always a way for you there to trace or track it. I had seem movies which even show but not many able to see the hidden message in movie or etc. All my wish was to least Delete or JAM the system by using the serial number or code which you produce in every iPhone 4S or etc. Least the person who took it, would not able to used it at all even if they wannt jail break it or does anything to iPhone 4S. Least they could do is either throw it away or return to Apple Store in individual country. I know what am asking might be impossible to asked, but its the impossible which its not impossible.
1st: Why build a system which so smart with all serial no and codes, but the "Find Phone" its not one of the Apps for iPhone?
2nd: Why must customer need to download "Find Phone" Apps and the rest of the Apple Apps in inside the Phone...? Doesn't make sense....
3rd: In any movie, you watched they will break the phone or throw it away and so they are not able to trace the person but the phone still can be trace or track...unless the person break the chips or put into Fire to destroy it completely, then YES, i believe it can't be trace or track.
Please kindly in your power to help or advice or bring this up to Apple Team Mind before all perfection to make iPhone....Metta

my friend connected my iphone to his laptop and now his apple ID is on my iphone- how do I change it back to my apple ID on my phone so that I can purchase from itunes again?
thanks.Restore your phone using the last backup that you made. That should put everything back the way it was.

my friend found an iPhone 5 ; he plugged it in the computer willing to restore when the restore was succesfull he was ready to set it up on his way to do it , icloud ask him for a password from certain email he doesnt know, is there any way you could skip this step or delete the accoun without putting a password down ?

Your friend should not keep someone elses iphone without making every attempt to fget it to the rightful owner. -

The first thing you should do is have your friend log out of your account and change your password.

You can't block it from use worldwide. Some carriers will block phones reported as stolen. I hope you had a passcode on it and that you had set the option to erase the phone after 10 failed tries. If you didn't change every password on every account ever accessed from the iPhone. And cancel any credit cards that you have used from the iPhone.

As I put in my question, someone stole my Iphone and I notice I didn't have an Icloud account so I created one to try find my Iphone and then elimate everytihng but when I tried to do it, it didn't work. And don't know what else I can do.

My friend connects his iphone to my computer because i have more music in my itunes library. when he disconnects it and tries to update or download new app it asks for my apple id and not his. Any way to fix this?
Stop letting him sync his device to your computer.
He has no legal right to any of the content on your computer.
Tell this friend to sync his device to his computer, this will remove all content that had been synced from your computer and replace it with content from his computer.
If he likes the media that you have, you can "gift" him some songs via iTunes or he can purchase it himself. -
My Friend just got iPhone 5. His texts to me now show up as an email address not his phone number. Whats wrong? when I text to him via his # they sent as a text not iMessage. Help I dont like to have two contacts.
It has to do with his settings in iMessage. His iMessage has to be activated and it has to show his phone # as the "start conversation from".
