My frirend got his iPod Touch wet.

Now the screen is very dim. Everything seems to work but the screen is too dim to use. Already tried screen brightness in settings. Any other suggestions?

Try putting it in a bag of uncooked rice and leave it in there for about a week and then the rice should of soaked up most of the water
