My G3 has 10.1 but when I sign in it automatically goes to 9.2 please help

My G3 always ran 9.2, recently I had the apple store install 10.1, which was working fine. then my wife put a my son's computer disc game in and for some reason everytime I sign in it automatically goes to 9.2 and I can't figure out how to put back 10.1. thanks for help

Hi jaja, and welcome to the discussions.
Have you tried changing the startup disk?
Under the Apple menu, go to Control Panels, then select Startup Disk. The OS will take 30 seconds to a minute to find all the available startup disks, so be patient. Does it list OS X 10.1 as an option? If so, make sure it's selected, then hit the restart button.

Have the same problem with one room in my house. The good news; my internet provider told me about a device which boosts the signal through the the houses wiring. You plug the sender into an electrical outlet and your USB output, the receiver / transmitter you plug into an outlet in the room with the poor signal and use Wi-Fi as always. It priced in around $30 to $40. The bad news; I just don't remember what it was called, but I'm sure if contact your provider or local electronics store, discribe what your looking for they can hook you up with the needed hardware. I found a couple of resources to help troubleshoot the issue you are experiencing. The first is this article named Intel-based Mac notebooks: Troubleshooting unresponsive trackpad issues found here http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1248.
Try disconnecting the MagSafe connector from the computer and check the trackpad function. If the trackpad becomes responsive again, improper grounding may be the issue.
If a two-prong AC plug is being used with the power adapter, try using the three-prong power cable that shipped with your computer and plug it into a grounded outlet.
If the issue persists, make sure the third prong is present and do not use an adapter to enable the three-prong adapter to be used in a two-prong outlet. Note that the ground in the three-prong outlet may not be connected. This is common in older homes or buildings with replaced outlets. In these situations, the three-prong power cable will not improve trackpad responsiveness.
If a grounded outlet is not available, rest your palm on the palm rest when using the trackpad. This should enable the trackpad to function properly.
If that does not resolve the issue then I recommend resetting the SMC on your computer. Here is an article on how to do that:

I have gone through the process of creating an Apple I.d on itunes. I've finished the process, recieved the email to verify my email and done all that but when I sign in now it comes up with 'This apple I.d has not been used with the store yet, Please review your account infomation' It then makes me accept terms and conditions AGAIN and then brings up my already entered in account details. Sign out from Creative Cloud and sign in again using email ID using which you had purcahsed subscription:

Then launch CC apps which is asking for serial number and check.
Still asks for serial number check the hosts file for Adobe entries , if present remove it and try to activate.
1) Right click on the Finder icon on dock and select "Go-To Folder" option.
2) You will get a text box, type-in below mentioned command and then hit 'Return' key.

3) It will open the etc folder, please look for file named "hosts" and copy the same to Desktop screen.it
4)Double click on Hosts file , it will open it with TextEdit, If present Delete Adobe entries present inside Hosts file like 127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com.......etc
5)Copy and paste the Hosts file back to "Etc" folder.
When asked Authenticate with your Mac password.
Make sure to select "Replace" option when prompted.
Then launch CC apps which is asking for serial number and check.

If I understand correctly, it sounds like iTunes is not grouping the songs from a particular CD together. The cause could be something as minor as a misspelling or slight variations. For more information, see the following resource:

Here's what's going on in the catalog you sent me, "Joel & Caitlin's Wedding". There is the keyword "gwenn", which is explicitly assigned to 7 pics. But keyword "schwartz" has a number of synonyms, including "gwenn", and it is assigned to 25 pics. There is no overlap between the two sets of pics.
I discovered these two occurrences by doing Metadata > Export Keywords, opening the exported file in an editor, and then searching for "gwenn". I found two occurrences of "gwenn":
gwenn
schwartz
{gwenn}
From this, you can see that the keyword "schwartz" has 9 synonyms, of which "gwenn" is one.
The filter criterion "Keywords Contain gwenn" will match the 7 pics that are explicitly assigned the keyword "gwenn", and it will also match the 25 pics assigned the keyword "schwartz", because that keyword has a synonym "gwenn".
This illustrates the behavior I mentioned above: The criterion "Keywords contains x" will match against any of a pic's assigned keywords, any of those keywords' ancestor keywords, and any of the synonyms of the assigned keywords and their ancestors.
So LR is operating correctly here, if not in a way that's easy to understand.
It appears that you are using the synonyms of "schwartz" to represent individual members of the Schwartz family. A better way of representing family relationships is to have a parent keyword "Schwartz", with subkeywords for each family member, e.g. "Gwenn Schwartz", "Joe Schwartz", "Jane Schwartz", etc. Repeating the family name in the subkeywords has a couple of advantages. LR usually only displays the "leaf" name of a keyword, so instead of showing you just "Joe", it will show you "Joe Schwartz", helpful when there are a number of different people whose first name is "Joe". Also, if you ever export your pics to other software, it may not understand the LR hierarchy and won't show the parent keywords, so again it's more informative to see a keyword named "Joe Schwartz" rather than "Joe".
