Ipod Touch games wont play

I was playing a game on my Ipod touch when the battery went flat. I recharged it but now none of the games will play, you select them and they flicker on the screen then you go back to the home screen. Whats gone wrong?

My downloaded game wont play anymore

I have a game, Tumblebugs which I have been playing with no problem. I recently took my mac book pro to Apple because I had a problem with the Ical software and somebody spent some hours looking into it for me. Since then my game will not play. I think they may have dis - enabled it?
The icon is still there in my dock but when I click on it, it flashes but will not open. A second icon bounces up and down but again will not open. I've tried downloading it from gamehouse again but still no joy. Can anyone help me? I know I'm sad for playing this game but I like it!

Are you sure that they didn't upgrade your operating system while it was in for repair?
You might want to check to be sure that it still at 10.4.8 as is stated in your profile. If it has been upgraded that game might not be compatible with the new version of the OS>

Games wont play

help, i recently recived an ipod touch from a friend, and it had a crack in it. it works fine, and everything was fine and it had many free games and some purchased games. i dont know if its linked to my computer or not. the ipod had NO music on it, and the apps worked PERFACTALLY.i put some music on it, and now the apps work fine, except the games. the games open for about 1 second then go back to the app menu. what should i do?

try to reset the device by holding the sleep and home button until the Apple logo comes up again.
If this does not work, download a free app. But syncing will wipe your ipod if you don't use the same account and downloading via the ipod requires the password for the account used on this device.

After updating to windows 8.1 the games I played wont start

Good day,
Im new to this stuff, i recently updated my windows 8 to 8.1. After updating the game that i was playing works just fine. After a few minutes an update was done on something(i dont know what that was) Then I closed the game becuase it froze or something.
then when i open it again, it says " Rome: Total War failed to find DirectX 9, which is required for the game to run. Please reinstall directx"
After that I tried to open another game that i was playing (The Asian Dynasties:Age of empire 3). A window pops up and says
"Age of Empires III requires at least a 64 MB video card. This computer appears to have a 0 MB video card. If you wish to upgrade your computer, please contact your computer manufacturer for any necessary assistance.
System information: 1900 MHz, 3968 MB, 0 MB (vendorID 8086, deviceID 166)"
There where two choices buttons in the window one says "attempt to run" and the other says "exit game"
So i selected attempt to run then it says that "Initialization failed. Direct 3d initialization failed" and there list of possible causes to it.
These two games work perfectly fine before i updated my laptop to windows 8.1. I tried measures to correct the problem on Rome total war like installing a directx package which it said to have installed previous versions of directx's but the game wont still
work. i also tried troubleshooting it all it does is change its compatibility then it still says that directx 9 is missing. i read more furoms but i cant find a right answer.

Just installed the latest Version of Firefox and it wont play any videos or games? Help, so tired and frustrated with this web browser.

I just installed the newest version of Firefox version30. It wont play videos on youtube but i figured out what to do to fix that (change to "never activate" on Shockwave Flash add-on in plugins).
But if i leave that setting on then the game that i try to play on Facebook tells me turn on flash and when i do i still get a blank screen on FB. What do i need to do?
Im sure theres a simple answer. Ive tried at least 6 different things by reading others solutions and they have not worked. I dont get why why im still having problems WHEN I JUST FRESHLY INSTALLED THE NEWEST FIREFOX AVAILABLE FROM YOUR SITE!!

Try to set the Flash plug to click-to-play by setting the permissions for Flash to "Ask To Activate" in "Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Plugins". That way you can activate the Flash plugin when you need it via the Lego block icon on the location bar.
Also, I don't even see Flash listed as installed on Firefox. Are you sure you have it installed? Try downloading it from the below site

why are some games like skies of glory and red tails will download then start with the titles but wont play, they played before the last update IO 6. I have deleted them and reloaded them, still wont play.

I hope you are right Nancy that it will have updates, but I really doubt it. This is the norm for Microsoft when stuff they put out bombs. Dish Network had a DVR receiver many years ago that had Microsoft software installed and it was buggy to say the least. They updated it a few times but then abandon it. For a few years Microsoft wouldn't release the code to Dish Network to allow DN to fix the bugs. It was a real "Hate Microsoft" time for those users. DN had to put out their own coded DVR receivers and let the Microsoft ones die.
I think VZ made a deal with MS and removed the stuff MS wasn't supporting. Then VZ put them out without needing a data package to unload them.

What version of Windows are you using on the desktop and the laptop? 32 bit or 64 bit?
Be sure that you have the latest version of DirectX 9 installed.
Also, check with the game manufacturer for patches and updates.

certain embedded videos wont play. Flash type. There's a code UT-8 type?
example for the Vindictus game, all the little flash videos of game play wont launch. Its a shock wave file I guess, and the problem is, I cant launch the game if the buttons dont appear!

Ipod songs wont play

I have had my 80gb Ipod for about 6 months now and have had no problems with it untill now. i have not dropped it or damaged it in anyway. i recently got a new hard plastic case for it and it and now the songs wont play. at first 1 song would play then after it was done it would skip to a random song in that album and not play, then it would play some songs and not others. i have not DL any new programs, music, games or anything on it for weeks. i have like 10,000 songs on it and it has taken me a long time to do so, so i dont wanna reset it, is there any other way to fix this?

Grey text when you look at the content and lock symbol at the bottom of the screen simply shows that your iPod is set to "automatically update songs and playlists". . If you want to access your iPod directly, play it through your iTunes, connect it to a second computer etc. you just need to change the update method to "Manually manage songs and Playlists" in the iPod preferences. One thing to be aware of with manually updating is that the iPod also has to be manually ejected before the "Do Not Disconnect" message will go away. Safely disconnect iPod

Bought 3 song from the itunes store and they wont play

i bought 3 song and put them in my mp3 player 2 wont play 1 sound just like static i have other song form itunes in that player and they play fine? 1 song wont even play on my computer the i payed for them their in my list but wont play what gives!

I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the items that are not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the entries, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" links next to the items.
(Not entirely sure what happens after you click that link, but fingers crossed it should be relatively straightforward.)

My music videos wont play because it says the requested URL was not found on this server!

One day i tired to play my music and all it did was skip to the next song and it wont play.
I tired restarting it and syncing it but nothing happened.
Then i looked up my problem and found out that many more people had the same problem as me after the update IOS 5.0.1
I tired everything that people said to try but nothing worked and still after weeks and weeks it still wont play!
Until i downloaded a new song from itunes and that one played but im NOT going to buy all my songs again.
Please HELP ME!!!
