My Glass screen broke please helppp!

I broke my glass screen I am so upset. I spent 183 dollars on the protection plan and the computer is almost three months old.... And when i i called they told me it would be a couple hundred to get it fixed. Has anyone had a similiar problem with a helpful solution. If i bring it to the apple store itself will the help??

I'm sorry to hear about your damaged screen. As shldr2thwheel indicated, AppleCare only extends the standard warranty to protect you against any failures due to manfacturing. Accidental damage is not covered. However, some credit card companies will provide automatic accidental damage protection and some home owners / renters policies may cover it. You'll need to check with your credit card provider or homeowners/renters policy.

i've had a cracked screen on my iphone 3Gs for a fairly long time now and i decided to replace it. It's been working perfectly with the cracked screen and after i had replaced the glass screen and assembling it back all together, i have a white screen on the front, doesn't seem to go away and i've searched online for all types of solutions such as holding down the home and power button for 10secs etc but none seem to work, i came to an conclusion thinking its hardware? can anyone help me please, would be much appreciated. thanks

That should have been the first thnig that you should have done. If you had done so, Apple could have done an out-of-warranty exchange for you. Now that you've tried to fix it, and failed, Apple won't extend the exchange to you. I think that you might be able to sell your iPhone "as is" to a techno-tweek, or you can use it as a door stop.

The only glass repairs I have heard being fixed are the heat-related ones when the iPhone overheats and expands and cracks the edge of glass.

So i dropped my iphone 5 and cracked the screen. Ive been looking for a replacement and there are concerns i have. The screen is cracked but the touch portion and images are just fine. There is no alter to the LCD display or anything out of the ordinary. The only thing wrong is that the screen is cracked. Does this mean that all i need to purchase is the front LCD glass? The other thing i was looking at was the LCD screen along with the digitizer. But since the LCD and touch portion works perfectly, doesnt that mean i only need the front glass portion? Apple does not sell parts. Anything you purchase to "repair" your screen will be at best salvaged materials, and at worst counterfeit. In addition, repairing the screen by anyone other than Apple not only voids your warranty, but you will be uneligible for any out of warranty support on that phone as well.
Some Apple stores in the US can replace the iPhone 5 screen for $149. If your local one does not, or the damage is more extensive, out of warranty replacement for the iPhone 5 is $269

Why is my glass screen beginning to come off?

The glass screen on my MacBook Pro is seperating from the rest of the computer at the top. A few months ago I cracked my screen and had it replaced. Nothing that I know of has happened since then that could cause this problem. Does anyone have any ideas of how this could be fixed without sending it to Apple? I can see that the glass is just glued on or something, and if I lightly press it back on it will stay for a short ammount of time. Send it back. Apple repairs have a 90 day warranty (assuming you got it repaired by Apple). They should stand behind their work.

Sure! If the two Macs have Thunderbolt ports, attach a Thunderbolt cable between them. If they have FireWire, or if one has FireWire and one Thunderbolt, connect a FireWire cable (with a TB adaptor if necessary). Reboot the old Mac holding down the T key. Make sure it's connected to power. You'll now see its system drive appear on the desktop of the other Mac and you can use Migration Assistant to automatically transfer files, or drag them over manually.

Glass screen sliding, popping up!

About a week ago, the front glass screen on my iPhone started to prop up, but it also slid downwards, so if you look at the phone from the side the glass is higher than the metal bezel and if you look from the front, there is a big gap at the top of the phone and NO gap at the bottom.
Any ideas? Can Apple Tech Support help me with this please?

The only way to find out and that is to call Apple or go to an Apple store and have them look at it. They might not do anything for you if they think the screen became loose due to abuse. It is always important to be nice, but firm with support. Don't be rude to the tech they are just doing what they are told to do and they are not supposed to just give things away "money" without inspecting every possibility first.

New iPad..dust under the glass screen ?????

After buying the new iPad 32GB 4G from your branch here in Saudi Arabia, I was shocked to discover some dust under the glass screen. When I returned to the showroom, they refused to replace it and claimed that it is normal for all iPad products to leak in dust and is not a damage in the unit. I believe it is not acceptable at all for a SAR 3000+ devise to allow dust to come into its internal chipsets (with all the damage this might cause). I am sending this as a complaint against the local reseller with request of immediate replacement.

Screen broke and also dust in camera

Where did you purchase your iPhone? If you purchased it from one of the carriers in Turkey, then only they can service it. You don't have a choice; you will have to take the iPhone to your carrier. Since they don't repair iPhones but rather replace them, as gdmacguy said, there should be no reason to distrust them.
If you purchased the iPhone in another country, then you will indeed have to take the iPhone there or send it to someone you know there to get it replaced for you. The only exception is if you purchased the iPhone in an EU country in which case you can get it replaced by Apple in any other EU country.
