My gmail account was hacked so I changed to outlook. But now my iTunes won't sync to my computer.
Does anyone know how I can fix this problem? My iTunes on my computer is still set to my gmail account even though it has been deleted and I have tried to connect it to my outlook account multiple times. My iPad has never synced to my computer since I got it, so the only listed device is my iPod Touch. Its like a completely separate account.

how do i associate a different apple ID with my ipad? I need to do this bc my gmail account was hacked and a hoax email sent out from it. so i opened a new gmail account and want to associate this new email with my ipad
To check if you have a virus, you can download ClamXav
also, go to Applications>Utilities>Activity Monitor and see if there's anything that you don't recognize, and check your sent email to see if you've been sending emails without your knowledge. -
My Apple account was hacked, they've changed everything in my account, but I have a visa,I used this visa for my payment.would I return my acc ?
Contact Support in your country, as long as they can confirm your id and that it's your account then they should be able to get you access to it : Contact Apple for help with Apple ID account security
If your country isn't on that page then try this form to contact Support : https://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html -

Any help or feedback would be appreciated, as I am somewhat technologically challenged!
Well...with lots of trial and error...here were our steps...
Downloaded newest OS for our home Mac
Made sure all downloads on devices (iPads, iPods, iPhones) were downloaded properly
Installed newest version of iTunes on home computer (had trouble with this due to iTunes remaining open)
Finally was able to connect devices and sync them properly.
I am definitely in the technology challenged area, but after many hours I feel pretty proud of myself that I was able to complete this (with my sons help ) -
I have switiched from an Exchange account (which I just deleted) to a imap account account. But I can't seem to get my contacts to sync from my laptop onto my new account.
What should I do?What do you mean the ones "unique" to your phone? If you were not syncing them with something, they are gone. They are only part of the backup to preserve the list of favorite numbers and recent calls.
Don't worry about having to restore the previous OS. You can not do so at all. -
Gmail account was hacked so I changed my gmail password. Now my macbook pro keeps sending me and error message that says:
ogging in to the Google IMAP server “imap.gmail.com” failed. So then I go to mail and Preferences and change the passwords there including the SMTP and I STILL get the error message. I am going to lose it! Some one PLEASE tell me how to fix this. ThanksMail has TWO servers, a sender and a receiver. Each has a password that is not necessarily the same as the other.
Inside Mail use the Window Menu to select Connection Doctor, to see which side is connecting and which side is failing. Then adjust the password on the side that is not working.
Don't count on the receipt of emails supposedly from you as the sender as an indication that your email Account has been hacked. More often, an Address Book on a distant computer of a school kid's mom or an eBay trading partner is the computer whose Address book has been stolen, with your email address in it. A spam generator then sends out thousands of fake emails, supposedly from you. -
My iTunes account was hacked and fraudulant charges were made. Now when I try to go into my account from my personal computer, it states that "this is the first time using this computer, please enter answers for security questions," I never answered any security questions and cannot change or edit that because it tells me I'm entering the wrong info. How do I get a live person to help me through this so I can return to making purchases on my own account?
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Why can't I send an email from my iPhone or iPad since I changed my password because my email account was hacked?
Hi Teresazubi,
Thanks for visiting Apple Support Communities.
If you're not able to send from an iCloud email address on your iPhone, be sure to follow these troubleshooting steps from the article above (iCloud: Troubleshooting iCloud Mail):
Make sure that Mail is turned on in Settings > iCloud.
Make sure that Push is turned on for your device in Settings > Mail, Contacts, and Calendars > Fetch New Data. Then send an email to your account to verify that Push is working correctly.
Make sure that Push is turned on for your iCloud account in Settings > Mail, Contacts, and Calendars > Fetch New Data. If you're using iOS 6, tap Advanced. Then Tap your iCloud account and make sure that Push is turned on. If you have multiple iCloud Mail accounts set up on your device, Push can be used only withone account at a time. Make sure that Push is turned on for your primary iCloud Mail account.
Turn your device off and back on.
If the issue persists, turn off each of the settings in steps 4, 5, and 6 above, then turn them back on. If that does not help, follow these instructions to delete the iCloud account from your device, then add the account back:
Go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, and Calendars.
Tap your iCloud account.
Tap Delete Account. If you store Contacts, Calendar, or Bookmarks data in iCloud, you will be given the option to keep that data.
On the Mail, Contacts, and Calendars screen, tap Add Account, then tap iCloud to begin setting up your iCloud account again. If data from your device is stored in iCloud, you will be given the option to merge that data with the data on your device.
If you have an email account from a different provider, see the troubleshooting at this link:

my adobe account was hacked and compromised, emails were sent out on one of my accounts. I changed my adobe password, when I scan my computer, some adobe files are password protected and can not be scanned, is this normal?
I have contacted them, but apart from letting them look at it and deal with it, is there anything I can personally do myself? Or is it just a matter of waiting for me now?
