My google translation app won't work anymore does anybody have a solution???
Can anybody help with my problem-after downloading and installing the new Ios7 yesterday my google translation app stopped working has anyone had this same problem? I have tried to delete it and re download the app but it show that I can only renown load from the cloud so I deleted the app in cloud but it stall insists that it re download from the cloud!! HELP
I would suggest removing the app then re-installing it again to see if that works. Some of the apps had updates that needed to be performed prior to your upgrading the iOS.

My wife and I are set up for family sharing, but neither OS X nor iOS app store purchases appear to be sharing (i.e. the App doesn't just say "Get" for the other person after it is bought by the partner). Apple's suggestions did not work. Does anyone have a solution to this?
I solved my own problem but I don't think this is how Family Sharing is meant to work. On my Mac, I purchased an app. On my wife's mac, when I search for that app in the store, it has a button with a price on it (not a cloud symbol or anything that would indicate it had already been purchased by someone in Family Sharing). HOWEVER, when I click on the "Purchases" button at the top of the app store, use the pull down menu to change to the other member of the family, then all the apps can be installed.
I thought sharing would mean that the apps would be free from their normal site in the app store. If you have to go to purchases to see apps purchased by the family, then you might miss that fact and double pay. Perhaps Apple did this on purpose to help its app developers make more money despite Family Sharing. -
My iPod Nano 6th Generation is not picking up album artwork. On several of my tracks, it recognizes the album art, but it doesn't seem to recognize the others. I've tried uploading the artwork onto several albums manually, I've cleared the downloaded artwork to download them again, I've even restored the iPod to its default settings...nothing seems to work.

First, you don't have a 5+ year old 3GS. The 3GS has only been around for under 4 years. In fact, 5 years ago there were NO iPhones; the original iPhone (2 generations before the 3GS) came out on June 29, 2007 - not quite 5 years ago. The 3GS was released June 19, 2009.

I have an iPhone 4 and recently started to have some problems. First, the button on the side of my phone, that puts the phone on silent is not working. I can move the switch, but my phone stays in silent. However, If I plug my headphones in, Then I can hear everything like I am supposed too. Also, my up volume button does not work. This is with the headphones also.
I have tried doing a soft reset, I reset all of my settings, I updated my software, I restored everything back to factory settings, and nothing has fixed it. I bought it from best buy and can send it in for service, but the last time I sent a phone in, it took them 3 months! and I really don't want to go without my phone that long.
Does anybody have any suggestions?

Why in the world would you take it to Best Buy for service? Take it to an Apple Store. They can replace it on the spot if it's defective. -

When I downloaded iOS 7, the auto download switch in the I Tunes & Apps store turned off. Go to the I Tunes & Apps store in Settings and turn the toggle switch to on for Apps auto download.

My display has quit working. Does anyone have a solution for this problem?
I have had my Verizon Jetpack MiFi 5510L for a couple of months now. It has worked fine until a few days ago the display on it started looking strange and now has finally gone blank. Does anyone have a solution for the problem?
You can do both, whatever is more convenient to you. As long as VZW gets its hands on the old device you will be good to go. Replacements under the warranrty require the user to turn in the old device to VZW. If your old device is not returned then you will be charged a fee for an entirely new device. Purchasing a tracking number for a shipment of this kind would be a good idea if you choose to send it in. Otherwise dropping it off at a store is the safest route you can take.
I would suggest contacting VZW phone support on this one and running through your options. The VZW phone rep can coordinate a delivery to your local VZW store if they do not already have one in stock. You can also turn in the old device in person to rule out any non-returned device fees. -
When I dock my ipod touch into my Bose speakers, the 365LiveRadio APP doesn't work. It buffers and doesn't connect.
Why ?Audio through a dock connection is at line level, also called line out. Line level volume is not adjustable. You need to change the volume using the controls on the iHome device, or its remote.

Any one have a solution on my problem?
Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps BEFORE doing the reset.

Just to add that everything worked just find before i updated the app,after the update i wasnt able to locate my device
Try force closing the Find My iPhone app by double tapping the home button, locating Find My iPhone in the list at the bottom, tapping and holding it until it wiggles, tap to close it, then tap the home button again.

JUST WON'T WORK...I HAVE THE SOLUTION!!
I posted on this forum yesterday with a problem it seems that a lot of you are having. I did everything. But then I thought I did. Go to the following page of the apple support: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=61771 then click on the link that says 'force ipod into disk mode' in the solution section. Follow the instructions on this page, the pictures helped, this page shows you a picture of what buttons to press simultaneously on your ipod to put it into disk mode. I previously got nothing on my ipod until i did this. Follow the rest of the instructions by clicking the previous on your browser and then clicking on the link that says 'restore your ipod' in the solution section. Follow these instructions, you will end up having to open itunes attaching the ipod to your computer, then click the restore button on itunes and actually erase everything on the disk. after following the instructions the ipod had to be renamed like when you first got it and then all the songs had to be put back on. This took me about 2 hours as i had about 1300 songs. So far so good. Hope this helps! I haven't tested it but it is a lot better than being a dead ipod.
When I am at home I've so far always been able to cure this by plugging in my external monitor and then hitting Fn-F7 twice.
Plugging in shows that while my laptop shows nothing on its LCD it is showing content on the monitor.
Once the external screen is plugged in the Mac is happy to take Fn-F7 to switch from the external screen and back to the LCD.
This seems to be related to Detect Displays, an icon for which can be left on the Mac's top line status screen.

Now, none of this is new, and in particular it doesn't help me when this issue is most likely to affect me: when I am away from home.
I've taken to carrying an DVI to VGA adapter with me. Sometimes plugging that in helps, but more often than not it does not. It seems to realise that there is not a monitor at the VGA end of the adapter.
So, I wonder, *is the Mac is smart enough to switch to an external monitor when present, can it be fooled into thinking that there's an S-Video sink?*
