My GPIB will not control my device.

I am trying to control a MMR K20 Temperature Controller with my PCI-GPIB+ card, but it keeps giving me an Error-Need Command in the NI-488.2 Communicator, and IBERR=EABO. I have changed the time but I still get this error. But the communicator does work for the other instruments I am using. What command string do I need to give, or what do I do to get the GPIB to control this one device.

Hello,
Yes, depending on the kind of termination your instrument is expecting, you have to terminate with the correct termination. Some instruments require a carriage return and some require a line feed. Others will require both. You need to check with the instrument manufacturer to determine what kind of termination your instrument is expecting. Here is a knowledgebase that describes how to do it in LabVIEW.

  • Photos will not sync across devices in iOS 8.1

I have iOS 8.1.1 on both my iPad and my iPhone 5. After installing the new iOS and selecting 'iCloud Photo Library (Beta)' on both devices, the 'my photo stream' folder has disappeared and photos will not sync across devices. Everything was fine prior to installing the new iOS. Can anyone help me to fix this? Thank you!

    Hi sueb21,
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
If you are using iCloud Photo Library Beta there are some differences from what you may be use to. Please read over the attached article for information on how your pictures are now organized and for how you can turn it off if you choose to do so.
iCloud Photo Library beta FAQ - Apple Support
What happened to the My Photo Stream and Camera Roll albums?
The Camera Roll and My Photo Stream album are replaced with an All Photos album, which gives you the same compact scroll view, now with all your photos and videos organized by the date they were added. Learn more about finding photos in iOS 8.
After you enable iCloud Photo Library, all your original photos and videos are organized in one library. My Photo Stream will upload recent photos to share with your other devices, but iCloud Photo Library stores your originals. See how to upload originals below.

  • My HP Pavilion p7-1439 with Windows 8 will not add Bluetooth Devices.

My HP Pavilion p7-1439 with Windows 8 will not add Bluetooth Devices.  I ran all available updates using HP Assistant. The BT devices work with Laptop, iPhone, Surface and Ipad but not the HP Desktop.  I can access the Add Device button and the system searches but never finds any BT devices.  Any thoughts?

  • Whenever I update from Windows 7 get error 1602, iPod shows USB connection to iTunes, but iTunes will not recognize the device. None of the Apple documentation helps.

Whenever I update from Windows 7 get error 1602, iPod shows USB connection to iTunes, but iTunes will not recognize the device. None of the Apple documentation helps. The Apple Mobile Device driver is loaded and operating. The anti-virus software and firewall are not at fault (were uninstalled, and made no difference). The iTunes on my older machine running Vista does recognize the inoperative iPod (iTunes has detetced an iPod in recovery mode) and allows me to restore the device. Can anyone help to resolve this problem on the Windows 7 PC?

So yu tried all of this:
Error 1600, 1601, 1602: Try the following steps to resolve this error:
Ensure proper USB isolation troubleshooting has been performed, and test with a known-good cable.
Follow the steps listed for Error 1604.
This error may be resolved by disabling, deactivating, or uninstalling third-party security, antivirus, and firewall software. See steps in this article for details on troubleshooting security software.
Error 1604: This error is often related to USB timing. Try changing USB ports, uninstalling and reinstalling USB ports, and other available USB troubleshooting steps (troubleshooting USB connections, device not recognized properly, computer won't recognize a FireWire or USB device). If you are using a dock, bypass it and connect directly to the white Apple USB dock connector cable. If the issue persists on a known-good computer, the device may need service.
If the issue is not resolved by USB isolation troubleshooting, and another computer is not available, try these steps to resolve the issue:
Connect the device to iTunes, confirm that the device is in Recovery Mode. If it's not in Recovery Mode, put it into Recovery Mode.
Restore and wait for error 1604.
    When prompted, click OK.
Close and reopen iTunes while iPhone remains connected.
iPhone should now be recognized in Recovery Mode again.
    Try to restore again.
If the steps above do not resolve the issue, try restoring using a known-good USB cable, computer, and network connection.
If you had then time for an appointment at ther Genius Bar of an Apple store.

My MacBook Pro will not recongize external devices such as hard drives

I know that is of no help, but I have the same problem with a Toshiba harddrive. My wifes Macbook Air recognizes it. No problem with the hd I guess. • My USB ports will not recognize any devices, iPhone or external drives. Keyboard and printer work, any suggestions?

My USB ports will not recognize any devices, iPhone or external drives. Keyboard and printer work, any suggestions?

I'd start by looking in system profiler.
the blue Apple icon > About this Mac > More info...
goto the hardware section. Scroll down and click on  USB
See what happens when you have the device plugged in & not plugged in.
Move keyboard & mouse around to verify that ports work. Plug device in a port that worked with keyboar or mouse.  Keyboard usb ports are rather low power.
Perhaps device is taking too much power.  Are devices power or unpowered?  Try connecting devices to a usb hub.

  • Satellite L750 will not register external devices

About a few days ago my wireless mouse, a Logitech M325, stopped working. I replaced the batteries and performed tests with official software and determined that the USB port was not being read. Soon after I noticed that my iPod would not sync or charge and would not open in Windows Explorer (I use Windows 7).
Additionally none of my SD Cards will be read on my computer.
Please help, this is very frustrating and I'd like it to be fixed ASAP!

You could try to reinstall the USB hubs and controllers which are available in device manager.
Disconnect all external USB devices firstly. Then go to control panel -> device manager.
Here scroll down and find the USB hubs and controllers.
Delete each USB device and reboot the system.
After new reboot, it will take some time until windows system has recognized and installed the USB ports again.
Then you should connect an USB mouse and should test the port functionality.
Even if your wireless mouse would not work again, I strongly recommend to test the USB ports in connection with different USB devices like USB flash memory stick or different USB mouse
Just because one USB device does not work, this does not mean that your USB ports are faulty.
