My graphics card fan keeps turning off and on and making weird noises?

I have an hp m9340f elite computer that has been making weird noises. When i opened it, i found out that the graphics card fan keeps turning off and on after the computer turns on. I bought this computer about 4 years ago so it is not under warranty. i am not sure what to do about this noise.

I have a new MacBook Air which keeps turning off by itself and now won't turn on at all...

It's been working fine since I've had it but yesterday it kept turning off by itself and then within minutes off turning it back on it would do it again. Also the little box kept popping up asking if I wanted to sleep, restart etc as if I had pressed the power button. I tried to turn it off completely and now it won't turn back on at all. IPad stores setting keeps turning off Books,Music and Aps

In Settings on my iPad, there is a link called 'Stores." There you can turn ON Books, Music and Aps, so they will sync to your other devices. When I turn mine to the ON position, they immediately turn themselves back off. Any idea why?

I tried to eject a cd, didn't work so I turned off the computer and now it keeps getting stuck at the gray screen. How do I fix it?

Here are a few more details. I put in a game cd for a windows computer, once I opened the folder on the desktop I noticed the install application was .exe so I tried to eject the cd but no matter what I tried on the computer it wouldn't come out. I will say though that I didn't try the manual cd eject cause I didn't have anything small to hit the button in the cd drive with. It was getting late so we decided to just turn off the computer and leave it for the next day. I can't remember if we turned the computer off with apple shut down or by holding down the power button but we walked away pretty quickly before it was fully shut down. The next day the computer won't turn on. When I walked into the room I was the computer stuck with a grey background with the apple logo showing and the circular thing under it frozen. Since no one was in the room I held down the power button and turned the computer off. We tried to start the computer again later but again it keeps getting stuck at the same spot. Now when we hold the power button down to turn it off I'm not sure if it's really turning off all the way. The screen goes dark but it sounds like the fan is still going. I tried disconnecting everything but the keyboard and mouse but when I started it up again it got stuck on the grey screen with just the apple logo. I'd really apprechiate help on this cause I live in Germany right now and support call centers work so much worse when you don't speak the language well... Thanks for any help you can give!

Restart your computer while holding down left mouse key. That will eject the CD and your Mac will start as normal.

FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...
Note:
1. Data will be lost if you do not have backup
2. You must follow step 1 to step 4 VERY CLOSELY.

I have checked for problems with the connections, but from what i can see with the naked eye, nothing appears abnormal. It is very strange, and very sudden. It just stopped in the middle of a charge. The apple store is my next step. I just wanted to see if anyone on here had some extremely eye-opening solution or check. thanks though!

My ipad 2 keeps turning off and on

So my little brother is playing with my ipad 2 and he keeps playing until the battery is drain to 5%, when I try to charge it, it turns off(or shut down), normally I think it is common 'cause of the drained battery, but when I charge it, the big battery logo with red lines(indicating that there's only few battery power left) showed up( I think it's charging) and without turning it back on, the apple logo showed up, and I think it turn on automatically, but when the moment it turn on, it keeps turning off again...This problem keeps repeating from the big battery logo and turning off again.
I dont know how this is happening, This is the first time this happened.
The only reason I'm thinking is, "does my ipad battery or my charger is slow in charging and when it charged a few percent of battery and turn on again it drains the charged battery again?" Any help is appreciated, And sorry for my bad english( english is not my mother language). Thanks in advance..

You explained the situation very well, and it sounds like you are seeing this image flash on the screen when charging your iPad:
If so, you may just need to let your iPad charge for longer before using it, as explained in this article:

Macbook keeps turning off and won't turn back on easily

My Mac keeps turning itself off randomly. This has been happening for a while now but it is far more frequent- perhaps once a day. It turns off during use and when I attempt to turn it back on it for some reason it makes a strange noise and wont turn on for a long time. I am unsure if this is because it needs to cool down first?
It is a Mac os x (10.6.8)13" if this helps?
If anyone knows how to fix this I would be truly grateful!!!

Try resetting the SMC. If that does not help, take it in for diagnosis. There "appears" to be a hardware problem, but it would need to be tested to determine the cause.

That is how it works in general, not just for Numbers. It irritates me on other apps at times, although I can see an argument that if it didn't do that then people would complain about missing functionality after they forgot they had turned data off for an app. At any rate, this is a user to user support forum and we can't do anything about it. My phone keeps turning off and on. It will show the boot logo and it will dim like its going to the lock screen, but then it will show the loading wheel when turning off. Then the process repeats. I trued restoring but in recovery mode its gets error 21 at the step of getting iPhone ready to restore. Then I tried to do it in DFU mode and it gets stuck in waiting for IPhone. I have tried changing cables that hasn't really worked and I tried updating everything. Please help!!!!!!

Sounds like you have a hardware problem. Take it to an Apple Store for evaluation.
