My hard drive crashed and I need to transfer songs from my itouch to my computer. How can I do this?

My hard drive crashed and I have a new computer. I can't seem to transfer the songs from my itouch to my computer. I used to be able to just listen to my music directly from my computer, now I can only listen to what I have bought while on the computer. Any help would be great.

But, my hard drive completely fried, and I need to know how to transfer the files from my iPod to the new hard drive. My hard drive crashed and I need to re-install Dreamweaver CS3. I have my license but I cannot find a copy of the software. I found some comments that Adobe is not making it available for download. I would like to continue to use this version. Anyone have any ideas on where I can find a copy of Dreamweaver CS3?

if you have a problem dl'g, you didn't follow all 7 steps. the most common error involves failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system enabling you to download the correct version from adobe.com).

You can get Snow Leopard start up disc via Amazon, if you want to chance it ( link below for Amazon page. ) Personally I would phone the Apple help line to see if they can provide you with a set of disc's it much safer.

You can download the trial from the Adobe site https://www.adobe.com/products/cs6.html and activate it with your serial number.
Alternatively you can download it directly (without any download manager) from http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cs6-direct-download-links.html - make sure you follow the Very Important Instructions before proceeding to the download.

Hard Drive crash and replaced: need to re-install. License issue which we have all information demonstrating it is good. How to allow it???

We need to re-install and no matter how we try the message is buy a new one. We don't need a new one, just need to use our original one.

I think this probably needs a ticket submitted to support unless someone moderates here who can reset your license. I believe that your product was activated when your drive crashed and you obviously could not deactivate Adobe since the drive died. I have a similar but worse problem because mine is an upgrade and I do not have the original Adobe X license. Unless they have a way to take care of that type of situation, I may be out of luck. I am going to submit a request for help (probably be calling them on Monday to see if I am out of luck or not.

My windows xp computer got a virus and needed to be wiped.
As i store all of my itunes and iphone stuff on an external hardrive i thought this would not cause a problem.
Got a bit confused when i tried to open itunes again from the back-up hardrive as it would not open.
Wrongly assumed that the best option would be to re-download itunes and move my old itunes info across - silly silly thing to do :/
The new download just over-wrote the old one and after trying a few of the suggestions on here to get my old library back - i still cant work out if its possible as it has been over-written.
I don't want to plug my iphone4 into my computer as i have heard that this can wipe your phone completely, so before i do anything, does anyone know what is the best thing to do from here? or how i could posibly recover my old library, playlists, apps, podcasts e.t.c

When I right click on an image, then went to Go to Folder in Library, it pulls up the new external hard drive where I made the new link. When I try to work on the photos, the image still says file image is offline or missing. When I right click on the image to Show in Finder, it says the image could not be used because the original file could not be found. I eventually did click on their locate and found the image. When I linked those two together, a few minutes later ALL the "?" went missing and now IT WORKS!!!!
That was weird!

iCloud Backup is for your iPad, not for your computer.
Whatever you bought from iTunes is yours forever and can be downloaded as many times as you want. This assumes what you purchased is still available in the Store.
Here is the procedure for your reference.
On a computer, launch iTunes. Click on iTunes Store on the left
On the right you will see this
"Sign in" using the Apple ID used to purchase your songs, then click on "Purchased" (with the orange blob)
On the summary page that appears select the tab "Not on This Computer" on the right.
On the list that appears, select what you want and then click the "Download" button.
Whatever you have that did not originate from iTunes will have to be obtained from whatever means you used to obtain it in the past.

I have an iPod nano and an iTouch. I used to buy songs off of my iTunes account on my iTouch, and would sync them onto my computer. I would then sync the songs on my computer onto my iPod. However, i got a new computer which complicates things. I thought that I would not have to save all my songs onto a thumbdrive on my old computer, because i would be using the same iTunes account; I thought iTunes would be able to pull up all my songs on my account onto the new computer. I then tried "transfering" my songs from my iPod onto my new computer, but it only pulled up about ten songs; most of the songs on my iPod were either from CDs or purchases on my iTouch.
