My hdd is gone and now I have a new one without my old key - how can I get my stored data on my new hdd?

all data on my old hdd is lost after an crash. so i changed it with a new hdd. but the old sync key is not longer available. I generated a new key so i lost all my old date stored with sync... is there any way to restore the old data from my old hdd sync key...?

Sorry, no. The SyncKey is used for encryption / decryption during the Sync process, without the Sync Key that was used to encrypt your personal data as it was uploaded to the Sync storage server your data is worthless. Plus, when you generate a new Sync Key for an existing account, all the data that is saved on the server for that account is deleted for your security.
Do you still have the old HDD? It may work long enough for you to extract your Firefox data, if you put that drive in a USB drive enclosure and access it as an external drive. <br />

Did you fail to import your photos before updating? If so, then they are likely gone. You can try restoring from backup. If that fails then they are gone. You should regularly import photos to your computer, most especially before any update.

When i tried to download iOS8 on my iPad Mini it told me that I needed to connect my iPad to iTunes, I have done that and now it says I need to restore my iPad. How can I get my iPad working without losing everything on my iPad?

If you are getting the connect to iTunes screen then it's too late to take a new backup and/or copy anything off it. Prior to starting the update did you take a backup, either to the cloud and/or to your computer's iTunes ? If not then have you recently taken a backup that might have your photos and apps content/settings in it ?
As long as the apps are still in your country's store then you should be able to redownload them via the Purchased tab in the App Store app (and the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage on your computer's iTunes), and if the apps store their content on a server/cloud service then you might be able to get their content back from that - if they store their content on the device then you will need to have a backup.
For our photos you could try doing a search for programs that claim to be able to recover content from a device - I haven't used any so I can't suggest one.

My mistake, it was nothing to do with format. It woldn't sync because my movies were HD. HD movies won't sync to an iopd classic 160 GB but when you purchase a HD movie, itunes gives you a SD vervsion of the movie which is compatible with the ipod. Just needed to go to store, click movies, click purchased and untick the HD box and there you have the SD versions. Download the SD versions and then sync your ipod and bobs you uncle, movies are on the ipod

I had this happen, itunes won't do anything. You have to claim it through your credit card and change your itunes password. I was able to cancel some pending orders but itunes support was not able to help at all. It took them three days to respond. I was also able to change the shipping address on an order and send it back.

Under settings on my Iphone I needed to do a software update. It said to turn on the wifi and plug the phone in. I did this it was suppose to take approximately 1 hour. Apple has deleted mine today; causing me a major headache as they deleted the alias that I use as my main email address.
What happened exactly, is that the @icloud.com alias remained, but the @me.com disapeared. So that the John.Smith alias became valid only for [email protected], but [email protected] disapeared.
To try to restore the situation, I deleted the alias, with the hope of re-creating it: but bad luck, that option is not open to me as I have had 5 aliases active till today, and they now only give you 3, and even once I had deleted 2, they would not allow me to set-up a new one for 7 DAYS.
I can't be without email for 7DAYS, care of Apple. Calling AppleCare does not seem to help, and the line gets dropped once I have explained the problem.
Please help me raise someone at Apple to fix this.

I'd try starting Firefox in [[Safe Mode]]. If you don't have the issue while all of your add-ons, extensions, and themes are disabled, you can try adding them back in one by one until you find the culprit.
