My headphones have stopped working and I'm still under warranty but I've lost my reciept. But I still have the box to them. What can I do to get a replacement? Also I've only have had them since December
One of my headphone stopped working then the other one. From the question I was wondering if this matter could be resolved?
I've had Dell, HP, Gateway, IBM, Compaq, Lenova, and other computer manufacturer's send replacement drives to users as warranty replacements. They normally take your credit card number so they can charge you if you don't return the defective part by a certain date. I can't understand why Toshiba is so **bleep** about this. I don't blame you for not wanting to send in your laptop to have the hard drive replaced under warranty. Just get a Western Digital Scorpio Blue from Newegg, ZipZoomFly, or some other reputable online reseller and replace it yourself.
If you don't post your COMPLETE model number it's very difficult to assist you. Please try to post in complete sentences with punctuation, capitals, and correct spelling. Toshiba does NOT provide any direct support in these forums. All support is User to User in their spare time.

The letter keys have stopped working on my MacBook. Number keys and punctuation keys seem to work fine. Also, the trackpad treats a single finger click as a two-finger click. I tried an external mouse and this does the same.
If I restart, the mouse works fine but after a few minutes the issue starts. I have looked at a few forums and have checked the settings under system preferences but nothing jumps out at me :-(
Any ideas???Is this one of the MacBooks with a removeable battery? If so, try removing the battery and restarting the MacBook (obviously while plugged in to an AC adapter) and test to see if you still have this issue. Other users have reported that swollen expanding batteries have caused keyboard and trackpad problems.

I went in to use itunes today. It opened up right away, but I can't play any songs nor enter the store. It displays the message ' itunes has stopped working' and then closes. I tried removing itunes and reloading. Same thing. This is on my PC. My wife can still open itunes on her PC. Can anyone help?

This could be a zombie process or something that appears to be listening when it actually isn't or a conflict raised by some other process being bound to the port first before Mail tries to bind.
Has this survived an actual restart? A restart with Mail not running and then started after restart? It's possible for a port to be bound by a process and remain bound when if that process exits unexpectedly and then interfere with the same process rebinding to the same port. This can also come in form or a file that signifies a process being bound to a port and deleting the file while the service is off can free up that port.
Also there is are groups specifically for OS X Server 10.6 and 10.5 (whichever you are using) that would probably be more appropriate for your post since this isn't an Xserve or Server problem specifically. You may get more eyes associated with Mail conflicts over there.

More detail: I have a bunch of mpeg HD video files that were shot on a SONY HDR-HC3 Handycam camcorder. I would like to edit these into a single video production. I can access and view the mpeg files using VLC (Quicktime does not work with them). However, I seem to be unable to get the mpeg files to interface with iMovie '11 -- I cannot use the File --> Import command, nor can I drag-and-drop them into iMovie.
Is there something anyone might suggest to get this to work? Or are these files incompatible with iMovie? If so, I assume I must purchase a different video editing software program (e.g. Adobe Premeir Pro). Suggestions???

The files were ordered by their original numbers as imported from the camera, but I batched them through Phocoshop to downsize all of them into a more manageable file size. I opened that destination folder from quick time from where it said select image sequence. I clicked on the first one and opened it. The result was a large image with an arrow indicating a movie was ready to go. When I pressed the arrow, though, I realized it had only imported that one frame so there was no movie. The files are Jpgs and are about 450 KB each.
To your knowledge are there any links to iMovie tutorials or quick time tutorials that may address this situation? Maybe there will be one I haven't looked at yet.

Several compatible addons have stopped working and the plugin container isn't running
When I started my browser today the majority of my addons, including Tab Mix Plus, Gmail Manager, All-in-one Sidebar were not working and I couldn't access the options of any of them. When I was trying to work what happened I noticed that Plugin Container wasn't running.
Forget about JailBreaking. Just follow this advice:
Go to Settings > General > Accessibility > VoiceOver and turn this OFF
Note that when VoiceOver is ON you have to double tap everything to make it function. -
I use Photoshop Elements 12 for my photos. I have a constant problem where my photos don't print like they appear on the screen. They come out darker than the screen shows. If brighten them in the program, I have to almost make the photo appear "white" in order to look good printed. ?????? What can I do to fix this problem??

I am ready to bet that your display is much, much too bright (like all displays at factory settings.

This problem has been occuring intermittently over the last few months and I thought it was resolved with an iTunes update. It later reappeared so I updated to the latest software and still no go. Itunes will also freeze if I pull up the "de-authorize this computer" option. I am not a computer whiz so any suggestions have to be in layman's terms. Thank you for your help. I'd like to be able to update my apps via computer and also make new purchases.
