My home button does nothing when I press it
When in another site I press Home (to go to my homepage) nothing happens, everything else works fine
I saw the same problem last night and today.
Recently, the '''New Tab King '''add-0n was updated. Disabling the New Tab King add-on in Firefox fixed the problem.
If you have this add-on, try disabling it. Tools >> ADD-ONS
I notified them of this -- it appears to be a glitch.

IE Issue - Login button does nothing when accessing at secure URL
I have a user login screen for a customer control panel
located at www.realestate-websites.com that does nothing when you
click on the login button when using IE on SOME computers.
Symptoms:
The computers that are having the
problem get it every time
Other computers running IE work fine
everytime
Different computers with the same
version of IE get different results. Some work, some don't
The problem only occurs when on the
secure URL. Changing the URL to
www.realestate-websites.com/flexCP/bin/main.html solves the
problem, but it not a feasible solution
Forefox and Safari both work fine
everytime
Steps to Recreate the Problem:
Go to
www.realestate-websites.com
Click customer login in the bottom
right of the footer. (this will open the login screen)
Try to login with something. (if you
get a message saying the user/pass was not correct, it is working
correctly. If nothing at all seems to happen, it is broken)
Secure URL:

Non-Secure URL:
http://www.realestate-websites.com/flexCP/bin/main.html
I could really use some help on this one. I have new
customers signing up for our service (woohoo!!!), but they can't

I launched the URL and got an RTE. can you please check if
this is the reason why you are facing the problem.

Camera button does nothing when Z1 Compact is off?
My understanding was that the camera button could unlock the phone and start the camera app? How ever it does nothing, except takeing a photo when the app is allready open.
Is there a setting I can use to change the behaviour?Read here.2nd advantage.It should shot when you press camera button.

I connected my i phone 5 to the computer to download a photograph but the phoen has now frozen and a sloider bar but it won't respond. Even when using the power and home buttons it just comes back to the same frozen display.

You can add a virtual button that you can use - heres how:
First make sure you are on version 5
the go to SETTING>GENERAL>ACCESSIBILITY>ASSISTIVE TOUCH
You will then have a button on the bottom right hand corner screen that is always there (you can move it around if its in the way). Pressing it will allow you to go to the home screen.
Good luck - it happened to me too and this was a life saver - I booked it into be seen at the Genius bar but by the time my appointment came through (it took a few days) the home button started working again - literally just as I waas in the shop! Think it might have just got a bit sticky as my 2 year old was playing with it. -
Double-clicking Home button does nothing
And yes, I tried a restore. It should take me to favorites; that's what I chose in Settings/General. Any ideas?
Replying to my own question. Here's what I've discovered. If 'Favorites' is the last thing you viewed (under the 'Phone' icon), then double-clicking the Home button will do nothing. If, on the other hand, 'Contacts' is the last thing you've viewed under 'Phone', then double-clicking the Home button will take you to favorites.
Still, a piece of iphone behavior that seems buggy to me. -

IPhoto Problem - The "Calendar" button does nothing when you click on it...
This problem concerns Apple iPhoto (version 7.1.4) software running on an iMac (with Leopard 10.5.5, 1.8 GHz PPC and 1.25 GB of memory). We can open and run iPhoto with no problems but as soon as we create an album (with 20 to 40 selected photos in it) and we go to click on the "calendar" icon to start to make a calendar project then nothing happens. Clicking on the "calendar" icon / button shows up as if something should happen but the calendar creation window / option box never appears on the screen. I have re-installed the iPhoto program twice. I have done all the O.S. and iPhoto updates and still it will not work. Has anyone else had this happen to them and, if so, have you been able to fix the problem?
Welcome to the Apple Discussions. Before you do an archive and install create a new test calendar, import a few photo and see if the Calendar button works there. If so then it's your library. To create a new library launch iPhoto with the Option key depressed and select the Option to Create Library.
If the new library doesn't work either log into another account, and try there. If the calendar button still doesn't work a reinstall of iPhoto is warranted. To do so you'll have to delete the current application and all files with "iPhoto" in the file name that reside in the HD/Library/Receipts folder.
If the calendar button works OK in the other account then your account is the culprit. It could be a preference file other than iPhoto's that causing the problem. To determine of that's the case do the following:
Creating a new library while preserving the Events from the original library.
Move the existing library folder to the desktop.
Open the library package like this.
Launch iPhoto and, when asked, select the option to create a new library.
Drag the Originals folder from the iPhoto Library on the desktop into the open iPhoto window.
This will create a new library with the same Events as the original library if you have the Finder checkbox unchecked in the Events preference pane.
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto (iPhoto.Library for iPhoto 5 and earlier) database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger or later), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 6 and 7 libraries and Tiger and Leopard. Just put the application in the Dock and click on it whenever you want to backup the dB file. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.
Note: There's now an Automator backup application for iPhoto 5 that will work with Tiger or Leopard. -
HP Officejet 4622 ePrint button does nothing when pushed...

It may related to a firmware issue but you may get it working as following:
Click the Wireless icon and locate the IP address.
Type the printer's IP into your web browser to access its EWS page.
Open the Web Services tab.
Follow the steps to update the firmware and enable the web services.
Allow several minutes till the Web Services sheet will print and follow the steps on the printed sheet.

The button seems to be almost dead. It makes only "tick-click" sounds (like the others) when pushed. What to do? Please help! I don't want a dead nonfunctional button...Guys, any ideas???

iPad2 is dead...worked fine, then when I tried to use it an hour later, the screen was black. Home button did nothing; on/off button did nothing. Tried charging overnight...still does nothing at all. Also tried syncing with my desktop; still nothing. Got it in March and have never had an issue before this. Thanks.
Have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds, after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

My iPhone 4 will not power on. When connected to iTunes via my computer, it is recognized and shows fully charged battery. Pressing and holding the sleep/wake button does nothing; just a black screen. Any suggestions?
Only way is to bring it to the Apple Store and use the warranty if it hasn't expired

I'm pretty sure it say Next button or continue button, not Home. The home button would move you out of an application. When setting up you need to press the blue button with the white arrow at the top right corner to move on.

If it is one year old minus one day it is still under warranty. If it is more than a year since you purchased it then yes, the warranty has expired.
Millions of iPads have been sold. Most continue to function long after their warranty has expired. Check the many requests about updating the iOS on the original iPad on these forums and you'll see that there are many iPads still working after three years. My iPad 2, which I had for over two years is still working well for my son in law who took it over from me when I bought a new one.
Given that there will always be a few iPads that fail early. Most of those will be covered under warranty. But some will fail after the warranty has expired and before the owner expected it to. I'm sorry to hear that you are in this category. Take your iPad to an Apple store and have it looked at. They will provide you with alternatives, one of which is to purchase a like model to the one that failed at a discount. You can then know your options and make the best choice for you. -

Apple, as I said, does not repair your iPhone. All hardware service issues are handled by replacing the unit. So they can't handle the home-button issue without also addressing the issue of the cracked screen, for which they'll almost certainly charge you. But you can make an appointment at an Apple Store or call Apple tech support and plead your case.
