My home button is stuck. i can't use my ipod touch at all.
Don't RESTORE you'll lose everything on your device!!!!!! Call the apple support line and describe the problem to them.

MY home button is stuck. it seems to be fine physically but it is held.
my home button is also stuck, and along it makes it difficult to go into between apps. i literally have to hold it for about 30 seconds before it will exit the app.

My screen is cracked and my home button is stuck down. Where can I get this fixed?
On my iPod touch 4th G my screen broke in the bottom right corner and there are spider cracks all the way up to the top of my iPod screen. Also, now my home button is stuck down; a shard of glass probably is preventing the button from popping back up. Where can I get this fixed?

My Ipod 4g home button is stuck!
My ipod home button is stuck and i really dont wanna have to take it to the store i just went there in the spring to replace my first one. i cant get it unstuck ive tried blowing in it and pushing it down really hard and then releasing it fastly but to no avail it rarely responds now and its driving me insane. any suggestions?
Tried the alcohol for a couple of days and it was only temporary fix.
To get a home button on your screen, go to Settings--> General-->Assistive Touch, under Settings/General /Accesability...
That will give you a little button on your screen that acts as a home button. -

My home button gets stuck and some days it wont work at all what shall i do?
My home button is not repsonsive, I have booked it at the Genuis Bar to be look at as it it still under waranty, but until then there is a way of adding a virtual button that allows you to bypass the home button. Thought I would share this with you all, as after looking everywhere on the internet I havn't found anyone mention it.
First make sure you are on version 5
got to SETTING>GENERAL>ACCESSIBILITY>ASSISTIVE TOUCH
You will then have a button on the bottom right hand corner screen that is always there (you can move it around if its in the way). Pressing it will allow you to go to the home screen. -

a temporary fix is to hold down the power button until you see a bar that says "slide to power off". slide the bar and wait about 2 minutes+then holding the power button when screen goes blank for around a minute? your device should now turn back on. you will be at the home menu.
now to know how to fix the problem instead of avoiding it i am not sure. hope this temporarily fixed your problem
