Try this and see if it helps.
Settings>Safari>Clear cookies and data.
Now close Safari completely. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the app that you want to close and then "swipe up" or "drag up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

I bought my Ipod touch 4th generation recently and everything was working well. However, it has been 2 weeks since my FaceTime and Imessage aren't working anymore.

Right after I put on my username and password, it says "veryfing" and then it goes back to the log in page. I don't know what's going on at all. The home button doesn't work very well, and by that I mean if I'm in an app and hit the button once, it won't respond, or it'll think I hit it twice. If I hit the button twice, it either won't respond, or it will think I hit it once. I took it to the Apple store where they reset it. They said that if that didn't work, then to restore it. Well since resetting it didn't work, I restored it, and that didn't work either. I've had the same generation IPod before and never had this problem. Any advice?
