My home screen bottom is not responding?

I have iPhone 4, and its been with me since November 2010, a week a go the home screen bottom was not responding from first press and I have to push it hard enough so it may respond.
I wanted to check on it, while am in UAE- Abu Dhabi.

The "Additional Information" section also contains some good tips on isolating how far the touch response is affected, although it sounds like you've got a pretty good idea of where the affected area is.

I just upgraded to Lion this week and came home and opened my Macbook pro. It immediately came on, but took a minute or so for the cursor for the mouse to appear. First try a Reset ( No Data will be Lost )
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least Ten seconds... (But can take Longer)... until the Apple logo appears. Release the Buttons
If no joy... Try a Restore...
1: Connect the device to Your computer and open iTunes.
2: If the device appears in iTunes, select and click Restore on the Summary pane.

Try a reboot by holding both the power and home buttons until the apple logo appears, ignore the red slider if that appears. See if that clears the glitch.

A reset may help: Tap and hold the Home button and the On/Off button at the same time for approximately 10-15 seconds, until the Apple logo reappears. When the logo appears release both buttons and await restart.

I apologize, I'm a bit unclear on the exact nature of the issue you are describing. If the largeness you are seeing is related to the Accessability Zoom function (a feature that allows you to zoom in on the screen for people with vision issues), you may find the following page helpful:

You might start with:
Open Activity Monitor in the Utilities folder. Select All Processes from the Processes dropdown menu. Click twice on the CPU% column header to display in descending order. If you find a process using a large amount of CPU time, then select the process and click on the Quit icon in the toolbar. Click on the Force Quit button to kill the process. See if that helps. Be sure to note the name of the runaway process so you can track down the cause of the problem.
If the above reveals nothing helpful, then create a new user account. Log out of your account and log into the new account. Do the problems cease?

I am using windows Vista and having this problem also (not exactly, but iTunes gives pop-up that "files are in use"). While clicking on a page, like Facebook, or a web page, Firefox will be unresponsive and then go to a black screen saying Firefox Not Responding.

When I am on Facebook, if I click on the link to view "Most Recent" or if I am clicking on another link, Firefox will first freeze and then will go to a black screen. At the top of the screen in the orange bar it says: Firefox,-Not Responding and the name of the app (Facebook), for example next to it. This black screen will stay that way for approx. 20 seconds then will go back to the page.

Screen Intermittently Does not Respond

iphone 6+ and i love it!! But i noticed, intermittently, the screen does respond to taps. I have to restart the iphone and it starts working. Anybody else seeing this issue?

So it sounds like the iPhone responds normally, but after a while it may stop responding. Does that mean the home and sleep button stop responding too?
