My HP 7310 All-in-One is indicating "Disconnec​ted", when it IS connected.

Just this morning, my HP 7310 All-in-One indicates: Disconnected, when it was working perfectly yesterday. I've checked all of the cable connections and HP unit and my Laptop are both ON. Any Suggestions ??
Please Help ASAP, as this issue is stalling my business day...Yikes !!!

I'd sure like to help you with your HP 7310. I understand you are getting a 'Disconnected' indication when trying to use the printer. Please complete the troubleshooting recommendations listed in the following document and let me know if doing so resolves the issue, thanks; 'Printer is offline' Message Displays on the Computer and the Printer Will Not Print: Windows Vista.

Used to be ablert to print multiple page pdf files on my HP 7310 all in one printer and now I can only print the current page and therefore it takes forever printing them one by one. I am in version 10.6.8. Tried printing as image using the advanced click and that did not work either. I have Adobe 9.0 reader installed.
I tried this earlier, and I tried it again today. Both times it said "Software Missing!" and "HP Software required to connect to your printer over the network could not be found on this computer." But when I tried to install the software (AIO_CDB_Net_Full_Win_WW_130_141.exe, which I downloaded from HP's web site), it wouldn't install, as described above. In the diagnostic utility, I clicked "skip", and it said "Connection Verified!", and "The printer is connected to the network and the services related to the network connections have been verified and reset to a normal operating state. Everything appears to work fine at this point. Please doa test print to verify that the issue is resolved or click Skip to move to the next step." I clickedthe "Test Print" button, and immediately it popped up a box that said "Test Print Failed."
I tried again to install the HP software, and it installed, detected the printer, and asked me to select it. I selected the printer, clicked "next", and it did its network diagnostics. Then it said "Problem(s) found with your network" and "Problem(s) may exist with the network functions of your printer . . ." I continued the installation without connecting to the printer. Then I ran your network printer diagnostic tool again, and got the same result - "HP Software required to connect to youir printer over the network could not be found on this computer." -
found no related post for my question which I find hard to believe no one else has questioned; after installing AIO_CDB_Net_Full_Win_WW_130_141 (1).exe driver I have lost automatic duplex printing fro my hp 7310 all in one.
Another problem there is no longer an option to print from black cartridge only.What operating system? See the post here for enabling the duplexer (and if you are using Vista see the second paragraph for a link to a patch...)
For Windows 7 the option is in the color tab "Use Black Only"

faxing and scanning will not work on my hp officejet 7310 all in one printer ... i have uninstalled and then re-installed, but still not working.... what am i doing wrong?
I'm sorry..... I did find an ERROR message.
When I clicked, it showed this: there are 5 green check marks and I will indicate with an *

I did a Google search on Error 1450, and it seems to be a 'lack of resources' issue within windows. Not related to iTunes.
Maybe shut down all other programs (including the TSR programs you may have loaded) and see if it helps? -
7310 all-in-one​'s setup, function & tools not working
With new windows 7 (64) drivers installed on an ASUS notebook G74Sx series & upgraded from an earlier XP install.
Solution center indicates my hp 7310 all-in-one is green checked & noted as ready, but will not allow auto print on both sides when it did with XP driver on old computer.
I have removed page turner, cleaned contacts then reinstalled with no resolution.
When trying to resolve & printer tool box button is pressed - nothing happens, dosen't open, plus another less important issue that bears mention is that it will not show ink levels with HP cartridges installed.I want to have you try one more thing to get the whole thing working. If it doesn't work, let me know.
Try using the scrubber built into the CD or Download.
From original printer installation CD:
1. Insert CD into drive, and then cancel the installer
2. Open My Computer, and then right click on the CD drive and chose open
3. Open folder Util
4. Open folder CCC
5. Run the uninstall_ L4.bat for non-HP computers. For HP computers run the Uninstall_L3.bat
6. When the uninstall has completed restart the computer
7. Run Disk cleanup from Accessories\ System Tools
8. Download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player

Macbook Pro will not print on HP 7310 all-in-one
I recently opened my HP all-in-one 7310 printer/fax/scanner, its been in storage for a for years but is bran new.
I could always just plug in my USB and print completely fine.
However I wanted to scan a document, the HP all-in-one needed me to install the HP image gallery.
So I did, now I can scan documents to my computer, but can't print.
I have tired re-installing the HP program, downloading new drivers, unplugging and restarting my macbook and HP all-in-one.
Please Help, any tips would be appreciatedHi Eric,
A Quick fix , works sometime.
1. create a new user account with Admin rights
2. install the new drivers and try from here.
3. If it works , then go back to your old account install software named Onyx clean the caches and re install the latest drivers...

HP C4680 all in one printer out of alignement when printing avery business cards.
I recently purchased an HP C4680 all in one printer and have found
that it will not print Avery clean edge C32028-25 business cards. It
prints ok on plain paper and when you compare against the business card
sheet everything is in the correct position. However when you print the
actual cards the printed area creeps up the page and some of the print
is off the cards ruining the sheet. I am using avery design pro
software version 5. The print preview shows the printing area correctly.
Please advise of a fix for this issue.I have the same problem with my HP Officejet Pro 8000 using Avery business cards. I don't think HP knows how to fix the problem. I was told by HP to select card stock as my paper type, but that is not on my menu. I may have to adjust my PageMaker template to counter the creep. You would think that this would be an adustment that could be made in the software. It amounts to 1/8" over the whole page. I don't plan on much help from HP since I have not received any help in the past.

Error message on 7310 All-in-One
Th error message reads "Tri-color print cartridge inserted is not intended for use in this printer " however it i the same cartridge I have always used and had just printer several pages before this message???

I guess you're using either an HP95 or HP97 cartridge right?
One of the most common causes of this would dirty contacts between your printer and cartridge. I'd take the cartridge out and clean the electrical contacts to see if that helps to begin with.

How to get our HP Officejet 7310 All-in-One to print using the network option
The network printing initially stopped working on Win XP. I now use Win 7 Enterprise.
I have uninstalled the printer from my PC, restarted the machine, went through the add new printer device wizard and still no network printing capability.
I currently use the workaround of the USB connection for printing from one PC.Have you tried running the Network Diagnostics tool to see if your printer is on the network.

Printer is not printing or coping. Error code on printer is 0xb948b1a2. Been through the help step one of unplugging USB, removing cartridges, turning off printer and it did not work.

HP 7310 ALL-IN-ONE, WHEN SCANNING WITH DOCUMENT FEEDER SUDDENLY STOPS HALF WAY THROUGH
I put the document in the feeder and start to scan. The ADF accepts half the page and then stops and makes a screeching sound. The scanning head is half way across the glass so I presume it has something to do with that. I can do a manual scan. Any help would be great.

HP 7310 all in one problem ?
When I try to print one piece of paper or multiple sheets the printer grabs 3 to 4 sheets of paper at a time. I have to feed 1 piece of paper at a time. Any way to fix this ? Thanks in advance !!
