My HP c4795 just started making a loud grinding sound when the paper begins to feed???

Hello, The noise then stops and the printing continues successfully. I have had the printer about one year and it has performed perfectly until Apr 25. What might be the issue and what can i Do?

Hi,
The product's rollers and gears make noise when they pick up paper. Thicker media makes more noise. If the product prints without a paper jam, the noises are normal. If the product jams, clear the paper jam.
Recommend you to try clean the rollers and try the media type and check if same is repeated.

iStat Pro does not quite work "as always" with newer systems.

My CP1525nw has started making an intermittent whining sound when it prints. What is this?

It sounds like a whine or screech. I feel a vibration at the top rear of the printer when I hear the sound. Is the printer failing, and can I get service for this.

If those didn't fix the issue, check System Preferences->Users & Groups (aauming you're running Lion or ML)->login items and make sure nothing using the superdrive is in the list.
Alternatively, contact Apple Service, iMac Service or Apple's Express Lane. Do note that if you have AppleCare's protection plan and you're within 50 miles (80 KM) of an Apple repair station, you're eligible for onsite repair since yours is a desktop machine. Might not apply outside the US in all countries.
BTW, the AppleCare Protection Plan's the best insurance policy available for desktop machines. Get it if you don't have it before contacting Apple.

Won´t boot up and loud hissing sound when battery is in.

Hello, I have a powerbook g4 and leopard installed. The other day the computer started making a loud hissing sound and had a black screen(it looks like is in sleep mode) won´t come out of the apparent sleep mode. If I take the battery out it stops making the loud hissing sound but everything else remains the same. Also the light in the power cord is acting werid. The only thing I got to do was to finally turn the computer off and tried for about 3 days to charge it but the powercord wasn´t working so finally it worked(after 3 days) it almost booted up but then went into the sleep coma again. (the light indicator in the cable turned off but after taking out and put in it back in the light turned on. Please help, I can´t find any good answer for this!?? thanks everyone in advance.

Is this thing a piece of junk? My MacBook Air is running fine. I've literally only charged the MacBook Pro battery a handful of times -- it's brand new.

Normally if a Mac does not recognize a keyboard it asks you to press certain keys to identify the keyboard. What is happening on screen with this keyboard? What serial number are you referring to?

If you go to you home page choose settings which is the grey app with a wheel on it. When that opens it is automatically on general. On the right side of the screen you need to scroll down to the bottom. When you get there, there will be one white bar at the bottom and then above that there will be a group of four options. If you click on the third one that will open the section with language. The first one in that is language. Tap the arrow and choose English in that. I hope that works.

Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. Maybe this will let the iPad reboot and then you may need to restore again but see if this helps to start the iPad first.

My friend had a very similar issue to yours. The issue came down to the pins of the MagSafe not meeting with the MacBook perfectly causing the lights and the transfer of power to be wacko. I'm not sure if this is issue that your experiencing, but its worth checking out the pins and the MagSafe area on your MacBook for debris.
Troubleshooting Magsafe power adapters with stuck pins
If that is all clear, then I would suggest you call AppleCare or take it in to an Apple Store to have it checked out.

We don't know what machien you have or the version of OS X it is running because you haven't completed your profile. I would start though by doing a SMC reset.
SMC RESET
Shut down the computer.
Unplug the computer's power cord and all peripherals.
Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds.
Release the power button.
Attach the computers power cable.
Press the power button to turn on the computer.
PRAM RESET
Shut down the computer.
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command, Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
Turn on the computer.
Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears.
Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
Release the keys.
