My HP Computer with Windows 8.1 won't Boot

Yesterday it was working perfectly fine. When I attempted to turn it on this morning, it went straight to Preparing Automatic Repair. After it was finished preparing it went to "Diagnosing your PC". I let it happen. After Diagnosing my PC it sent me to a page with 2 options; restart or advanced options. I have tried restarting it plenty of times. When I go to advanced options there's the normal 4 options: Continue to Windows 8.1, Use a Device, Troubleshoot, Turn Off PC. I have used all the options except the "Use a Device" option as I lack the proper devices. I tried restoring it and it instead deleted the restore point, removed a file, and was of no use. Refreshing my PC would not work because the "Hard drive was locked". I have not tried resetting my PC, that is a last resort. System Repair fails. I tried starting with different settings, none of it will work. Is that lights out for my computer? Any cause of this problem? One night its perfectly fine, the next its gone?
