My HP Deskjet D2330 shows up but says "Error:-9672"

My printer shows up in the Printer Setup Utility connected via Bonjour, but when you click add printer, there is an error and the details are Error:-9672. Does anybody know whats going on with my crummy HP printer?

Having used Macs since 1988, this issue of noncompatibility with USB printers over AX is the most baffling and frustrating PC-like experience I've ever had.
Why Apple can't release a firmware update that would allow broad compatibility with most new printers is simply thoughtless. I brought home a new HP Deskjet F340 printer today, could see it in Bonjour but got error 9672 upon trying to connect. Gimpdrivers would not work, returning the message that the network connection was "busy."
I took the printer back and am asking you guys...

Try downloading the songs from a different device. If you are doing it from your iOS device, try form your computer.

HT1420 itunes shows 4 but says 5 authorized

I am trying to authorize a computer to play purchases from iTunes, I get a pop up that says I already have 5 authorized, I go into my account then to deauthorize one, but when I get to that point it only says I have 4 authorized ( all 4 of them are ones that I use still, my iMac, my iPhone, my iPad, and my laptop ) How do I authorize the last computer I have when it shows 4 but tells me I have 5.

I had the same issue a long time ago and I wish apple would stop this authorizing yuck on it. However, I am sure they have a reason for it that is logical to them (and perhaps me if I knew what it was). What I had to do was call apple and have them submit a ticket to the itunes department since that department is evidently god like and has no way of contacting them. I would call apple and they should still help even if out of warranty, like they did for me.
The apple rep submitted the ticket and in a couple of days the issue was resolved. The whole thing was reset. problem was that I had a mb that was defunked and had to send it back and I was sent a new one, so that made 2. Got an imac (3 authorized) and the HD went on it. that was replaced and that made 4 authorized. What made me upset and I cannot prove it still but I got a 5th authorization on it on a different computer that I did not even have.
@KP it is good to know that the ipad and phone dont count!

Netflix renewed on itunes but saying error on apple tv

tried restarted apple tv but netflix still saying error even though it's showing renewed/purchased on my itunes acct. anyone know how to check this?

If your Apple TV fails to restore through iTunes……..
Check that you have correctly followed the instructions for your model of Apple TV.
If not already, try using a powered USB port.
Repeat the process but this time try connecting the cable while iTunes is closed.
Repeat the process with another cable.
Try restoring the Apple TV on another computer in another location

HT1657 Tried to rent movie but saying error cannot download movie at this time?

Tried to download a rental the other day when trying to download it said I did not have enough space when I did this is due to my iPad having an expired previously rented movie.
Still after this had gone it was saying I did not have enough space. I reset my iPad to then hopefully start downloading my rental and it is now saying error cannot download movie at this time?

Network manager shows activity but says "don't conected"

I've installed nothing to my network. I got connection at instalation time.... I use dhcp
Network manager works, by a half. disabling net on it, turns off the internet, also reenabling turns it on, but still appears "don't connected"
I need Network Manager cause I'm folding at home contributing and, sometimes, my internet comes slow, so slow, and restarting it solves. In the "rc.conf times" a "/etc/rc.d/network restart" was enough, but with systemd I don't know the correct command, and with network manager just disable networking and reenable it
I think that may be it's the interface name (enp7s0) I've not changed it to promiscous mode.

I am not sure if I understood everything, but did you enable the DHCP service ?
If you enabled the DCHP service, then you need to disable it with :
systemctl stop dhcpcd@enp7s0
systemctl disable dhcpcd@enp7s0

Also, please post the EXACT error message, I am pretty sure, there is no error messge as 'dont connected' in KDE.

Tried to upgrade to new itunes (version 8.0?) but says error 2318

downloaded new version of itunes last night. but today it wouldnt open.. it said the feature i was looking for was in another network..etc so i did windows clean up thing, deleted itunes and quicktime and then installed quicktime separately and then tried to do itunes but it said 'this installer has encountered and unexpected error installing this package.this may indicate a problem with this package. the error code is 2318.'
now i cant open itunes/acces any of my music..
any tips??

When you uninstalled iTunes and used the installer cleanup utility, did you uninstall all the programs listed in the removal method and clean up any that did not uninstall cleanly?

Usually that Network message responds to that.
If no file was mentioned in the 2318 message, it might be worth looking in the event viewer to see if there is any clue to the problem file.
You can access it via Administrative tools on the Control Panel.
It might also be worth running a disk check although It may not be relevant to this particular error number.
Go to my computer, right click on the c: drive and select Properties>>Tools>>error checking.
If it detects errors try installing again.

[SOLVED] Trying to install yaourt and cairo-lcd but says Error

I was trying to install cairo-lcd manually as I usually do from aur when after building and trying to install I get
error: package "cairo-lcd-1.8.8-1-i686.pkg.tar.gz" not found
Thought there may be a problem with it so tried going down the yaourt route but trying to install that gives the same thing.
I cd into the folder as normal build it then pacman -Q as root.
I admit it's been a while since I installed anything from aur but done it plenty of times to know what to do....am I missing something blindingly obvious?

I did that so cairo-lcd would install, the problem I am having is pacman -Q* doesn't find the tar.gz to install

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, clicking here and picking a method for your country, and filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. We're users here and do not speak for "Apple Inc."
Some basic printer troubleshooting steps before worrying about a printer driver:
1. Have you tried turning the printer off and back on?
2A. Is the printer attached with a cable?
     If yes, have you tried unplugging and re-plugging both ends of the printer cable?
     If that does not help, can you test the printer with another cable?
2B. If your printer is not connected to the computer with a cable, have you tried restarting your printer (assuming wireless connection)?
     Have you tried restarting your wireless router?
3. Have you tried restarting your MacBook? (Be sure to save your work first.)
4. Does the printer have ink? (Doesn't usually generate a 'communications error' though)
5. Have you updated OS X or the program you're trying to print from recently?

It's telling you there's not enough space *on your 4S*. The 25GB you refer to is probably that on iCloud, that's different memory than that on your iPhone. You need to delete video, pictures, apps, or whatever ON THE IPHONE, to make enough room for downloading updates to your apps.

Your past purchases are not on the computer. By choosing download all, those purchases will download to the computer.
Once authorized to your iTunes account you can control the computer.
When syncing the iPad the first time you will get the warning " this iPad is synced with another computer, syncing will erase all contents and replace with the contents of this computer"
Say yes, this is what you wan to do.
