I have always been able to create playlists on itunes, then drag them to my ipod when it is plugged into the mac. I recently downloaded the latest version of itunes, and now am unable to do that. I can drag songs and albums to the ipod, but not my playlists. It used to be so easy, am I missing something here?
Plug your iPod into your computer, it will begin to sync. Now check to see if the playlists have been added.
If not, go to the songs tab under your iPod when it is connected to iTunes, Unless you have checked "Sync all songs (or something to those words)" you should have an option on what you can put on your iPod. Make sure to check the playlists that you want on your iPod. -
I plug my computer into my stereo and use the remote app on my iPhone to control it. How can I control my wires iPad with the remote app on my iphone when it is plugged into the stereo? they are different iTunes accounts.
I think this is probably a sign that your network could be better than it is.
Intermittent problems are often a result of interference. Interference can be caused by other networks in the neighbourhood or from household electrical items.
You can download and install iStumbler (NetStumbler for windows users) to help you see which channels are used by neighbouring networks so that you can avoid them, but iStumbler will not see household items.
Refer to your router manual for instructions on changing your wifi channel or adjusting your multicast rate.
There are other types of problems that can affect networks, but this is by far the most common, hence worth mentioning first. -
My ipod nano 4th generation only works when it is plugged into the computer; otherwise, the screen turns black and it is completely unresponsive to any efforts such as pushing buttons, reseting, etc. What should I do?
Sounds like the battery is shot and in need of a replacement. You can have Apple replace the battery for a flat fee or you can send it into a third party repair center for a bit less.
Not much else you can do for troubleshooting this one.

When my phone is not plugged into the charger or computer, it will not turn on at all; even though it is not dead. When it's plugged into the computer, it will go to a white screen with a grey apple icon and then it will turn off again and repeat. IOS7 and iPhone 5.

Try this step and if you cannot get your device into recovery mode there is a chance you have a hardware failure and you need to call apple to see what service options you have. -

Touch ID in my iPhone six does not work when it's plugged into the wall is anybody else having this problem?
No. You are the only one. The way I know is that I don't have the problem, therefore no one else can have it.
Seriously, no matter what problem you have, with a half billion iPhones in use, someone else will have the same or similar problem. So knowing that doesn't help solve it in the slightest. As it's new and still in warranty I would take it to an Apple store. Make a genius bar appointment first so you won't have a long wait. -

Why does my iPod Nano only work when it is plugged into the computer?
My iPod nana is a 4GB iPod and it does not work at all until it is plugged into my computer. It works perfect when it is plugged into the computer. It will not even turn on if it is not plugged in.
By the sounds of it, the Nano's battery is shot and in need of a replacement. You can have replace the battery for a flat fee or send it to a third party repair company for a little less.

When I plug my phone into the computer nothing happens. The phone doesn't respond the computer doesn't show anything and ITunes doesn't show anything!
I would not worry too much about the charging aspect of the computer connection for now. I did notice that the last time I connected my iPhone to my computer the iTunes had changed and the only way I could determine that my iPhone was connected was by noticing a box at the upper right on the computer screen vs. the older graphical interface which showed the connected iPhone in a column on the left of screen. My iPhone did not turn on and did not charge. However the iPhone was connected and I could in-fact select Sync from one of the iTunes pull-down menus. Again, for quite some time I though my iPhone was not triggering the computer at all when I connected it. I use an iMac.

My ipad is stuck in reboot mode when it is plugged into the charger
I was playing on my ipad when it told me i had 5% battery left, so i ended my game and plugged it into the charger, it suddenly went off and is now rebooting over and over. it doesnt stay on because theirs no power in the battery but it wont stay off to let itself charge. its constantly.. apple logo comes on, home screen flashes on then it goes off and starts the process all over again! been reading up on solutions. i did the whole connect to itunes and restore the ipad to its orinional state which it does, but then when the process is complete it starts the whole rebooting thing again. iv had it almost 2 years now so no option to take it back. any ideas?
Try the following:
1. Reset
Hold the Sleep and Home button down until you see the Apple logo
2. Restore:
