My Hp Envy Dv6 7214Tx Slow downs few time.

Hello
My Envy Dv6 notebook slow down  sometimes. I am using windows 8. It happens a very few times. Without any reason. When i open task manager to see what is using the resoursces. Surprisingly.  non of the thing is using resoruces. but the computer processing becomes very slow.
Is it a hardware problem?
Thanks

  • RFGuns slowing down several times a day

    Hello,
RFGuns in our warehouse really slow down several times a day and start taking time. I am wondering if this is a network problem. Any ideas where to look? Thanks

Try to determin when the issue started and whether or not any changes went in when the problem started, updated security measures? new access points, switches and such? any thing related to RF connectivity has changed?
After checking with network team, they should monitor, look for network issues, check sygnal strength
    1. check with network security team, ask if they run scans durring the times you see slowness
    2. check for batch jobs that might suck system resources (financial batch jobs can slow entire sytems)
    3. check for firmware updates for the devices, some devices have known issues w/newer secure networks
    4. do server analysis to make sure enough resources are devoted to the boxes that handle the transactions
    good luck

  • JMS Queue slows down after time

              Hi,
Our system makes use of queues extensively. We, pumps trhough tens of thousands
of messages every day . Every few days, our Weblogic 7 SP5 JMS queue slows down
with very little activity. After restarting the instance, everything goes back
to normal. We have about 14 queues in our system with a very high rate of throughput.
Any ideas as to what slows down the queue requiring a restart.

  • XY dot plot slows down over time

In my VI I am using Express XY graph to plot a continous stream of XY coordinates over a contstant domain and range. I would like to keep the trail of these points.
Initially, plotting is very fast. But it eventually slows down to a crawl as point keep coming in. I have disabled autoscaling and smooth updates, but still the same problem.
Is there any solution to this, other than periodically reseting the graph?

    Hello Amir,
Im assuming that your data is being streamed into an array, and that you are then plotting that array on the XY graph. If this is the case, the XY graph has to rewrite itself every time, since XY graphs are a one-shot display. They are not set up for streaming. As your data keeps streaming in, the array gets bigger and bigger, causing the XY graph to take longer to refresh, slowing everything down.
One solution is to only plot the last x number of data points (x based on how fast you want it to refresh vs how much data you want to see). Im including an example of a circular buffer than does just this. Youll have to modify it for your data and for the XY graph, but the idea is the same.
If none of these suggestions help, please
post the software and versions you are using, the applicable portions of your code, and any other information that may help, and Ill be happy to look further into it.
    Have a nice day!

  • EA6200 slows down over time and needs reboot

Anyone with a EA6200 notice it slowing down after about a week of use?  I just replaced my e2000 with a EA6200 and its runs very well for about a week.  After about a week I notice it slows down.  Pages start loading very slow on all of my devices on my 2.4ghz and 5ghz ssids.  It slows down to a point where it takes forever just to get logged into the router to and get to the page where I can reboot it so I know its the router.  Once I reboot it, it runs great for about another week.  Its using newest firmware.  I have 2.4ghz set to 20mhz and 5ghz set to 80mhz, channels set to auto.  Nothing to customized beyond that.

    Try:
Connectivity => Administration => Cut through Forwarding => Uncheck
If IPv6 isn't required by your ISP; Connectivity => Internet Settings => IPv6 => Edit => Uncheck Enable
Media Prioritization => Enable => Check
Media Prioritization => Settings and apply accurate Downstream and if available Upstream values; Initially keep all devices and Apps normal priority
If you have throughput issues on Wifi try Disabling WMM support (EA6200\6400); if no difference is notice re-enable WMM

  • Code Slows Down Over Time

While using LabVIEW to code an optical sensor that is used to see when a coin passes through a passage, the code will initally run at a fast enough rate to read a coin falling through it. Yet as time goes on the while loop the sensor is within slows down to a point where it is not quick enough to see/detect a coin falling through. There are two while loops running in parallel, that may still be causing some issues in priority?
    Thanks in advance,
    Ben

Along with what crossrulz said, your acquisition to find the coin is a little funky. You're pulling a single sample each time that loop runs, so you're limited to the loop rate of that loop for find the coin.
Instead, you should configure your DAQmx task to do hardware timing at a fast(er) rate and then pull all available samples with each iteration. Then you can see within all of the new samples if there is a coin when there wasn't previously (same logic you currently have, but on a data set). For example, you can have this loop timed to run at 20Hz, but your data is acquired at 1000Hz and chunks of the data can be analyzed at a time. This way is much more efficient than what you're doing.

  • The Internet connection with WRT54GC V2 is slowing down about time.

I upgraded the router to the newest firmware (1.01.0), but the connection with time still slowing down. I turn the router off and then on, and the connection is fast already. After 1 or 2 days the connection slowing down again. What can I do?

Connect your computer straight to your modem and check if you face the same problem...If you don't face any problems through the modem, hard reset your router...
Press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds...Release the reset button...Unplug the power cable from your router, wait for 30 seconds and re-connect the power cable...Now re-configure your router...If you still face the same problem get your router replaced...

  • Time Capsule Wi-Fi slows down over time

    Hi,
My Time Capsule 2 TB (running firmware 7.4.2, which is the latest version for my model Time Capsule) has an annoying habit of running slower and slower over time, eventually requiring a restart...
It becomes worse and worse gradually. At some point, transfer rates get very slow, websites take ages to load, connections even start to drop... and that's when people connected to my network start asking: "What the %($) is going on?". I then restart the Time Capsule, and everything is back to normal (for a while).
This repeats about once every month. I'm not satisfied with one month of continuous uptime on a Wi-Fi base station... I'm used to such devices running for a year or two before they may eventually require a reboot.
Has anyone else had this problem? Should I try to exchange the Time Capsule for the new model (running firmware 7.5.1)? It seems like Apple isn't planning to release a firmware update for the older model, even though it's still under warranty and obviously has a few glitches...
    Tim

I've got this exact same problem with the older Time Capsule. Mine drops to around 10% of the original speed over time. Mine requires a reboot too.
I was thinking of buying a new one, thanks for saving my money.

  • Video upload from Iphone 5 to pc plays slow after few times in Quicktime player

I uploaded a video from my Iphone 5 to my pc and in the beginning it played well
But now if i try to play it plays really slow and chobby.. not good.
    Can't find any solution.

However, when I go to play them back in the latest Quicktime player the colours are wrong, mainly coming out purple.
On an XP system, the first thing I'd try would be the "Disable Direct3D acceleration in QuickTime" section of the following document. (iTunes uses QuickTime for video display, so the same basic troubleshooting step applies.) Restart the QuickTime Player prior to checking to see if the settings change has had any effect:

  • Safari slowing down over time

    Hello,
My computer has been acting up lately. It seems that everytime I've been on safari browsing the internet, It gets slower and slower but speeds up again after a while. I ran the EtreCheck application (below) and said that com.apple.mrt.uiagent.plist failed. I've been on a lot of other discussions about safari being slow and this is one of the problems. I've already checked my HD drive and it is running fine and clean. I'd like to get this fixed as soon as possible.

  • OS X Server File Sharing slows down some time around 5 PM

We have a problem with our OS X Server file server becoming sluggish to browse and save files around 5 PM each day.
Historically we had this problem with Mac OS X Server 10.5.8 but it's also seems to be a problem with our new Mac Mini running OS X Server 10.10.
We have one IMAP account on the server that we use to archive about 18000 emails at 12 GB, stored under a number of folders. Could it be this that's causing the problem? I noticed on our 10.5.8 server that it used to process the email and use up gigabits of HD space in the process and then release it all again when it was done. The sluggishness seemed to coincide with this.

I know there are options in the policies section of the Open Directory area of Server Admin.  Or, in Server App, you can click on Users and then if you click on the little gear thingy under the window displaying the users you can choose Edit Global Password Policy and a drop down window will show the same settings.

  • My internet speed just slowed down big time!

    Hello everyone,
About 5 or so days ago my browsing speed just got so slow. I can't effectively view streamed media anymore and downloads are far too slow. I have a 1.83 gHz 15.4 Macbook Pro with 1.5 gigs of ram and maybe a week after a full system reboot my browser just got slow. I was using camino and thought maybe that was the deal but safari was also slow as balls. I have high speed wireless internet here and the other PC's in the house run at normal speed. Techtools shows everything is in order. Is there anything else I can check or any settings I can change to get my speed back? All my software has been updated.
    Aaron

I find that by rebooting once a week, everything stays working , including internet connection times, smoothly. I have noticed the RAM usage is at a higher level prior to the reboot and more RAM is available after the reboot. Using Firefox, the other day I was unable to log into my e-mail account; rebooted and the the log in went as expected.

  • Adding Masks Slows down render times massively

Adding any sort of vignettes/mask when using DL in Premiere CC creates massive render times in premiere. On a two minute promo it takes 15 minues to render what took 4 minutes without Masks.
Anyone know how to improve this? In the middle of a production, and this alone makes me want to use Resolve.

I should add that I'm Exporting to Media Encoder.
Leaving Renderer to CUDA or CL seems to be the culprit.
Setting ME to 'Software only' seems to improve render times.

  • Itunes music slows down randomly during play

    First, my system specs.
    CPU- AMD Phenom 9850 Quad @ 2.51ghz
    RAM- 2GB Adata ddr2 800
    GFX- ATI 4870 Radeon pci-e 500MB
    SFX- Creative X-Fi Sound card
HDD- 80Gb, 250Gb, 500Gb, all sata2. (the 500 has all my music files)
OS - Windows XP SP3 (It was doing the same thing in SP2)
Itunes version 9.0.2.25 (version upgrade didn't fix)
I have gone through and upgraded all the device drivers to be recent (in december). I've been dealing with this problem for a little over 8 months now that I can remember, and the driver upgrade didn't seem to help.
Now the problem is that itunes is what I use to listen to music since it syncs with my ipod. But, this only happens in itunes (and recently on my ipod) not in windows media player or in winamp (or media player classic if I just play one song).
It happens randomly. Some songs will play without a hitch a dozen times without a problem. Then I'll come back the next day and the song I was listening to the other day will slow down in the middle of the song. At first I thought it was distorted, but after it happened once or twice, I figured out that the song itself slows down dramatically so that the pitch is dramatically lowered. So much so that certain higher pitched long notes will sound like one long awful bass note. This will continue for a few seconds (it varies. Anywhere from one second to several seconds, up to at one point 10 seconds.)
Sometimes moving the song backwards by clicking on the progress bar will fix it. This hasn't always worked though. Some songs seem to stay distorted and only fix themselves randomly. This is especially true on the ipod, where it seems a slowed-down song stays that way indefinitely. Admittedly I don't listen to the ipod as much so I may be off on that since it happens so infrequently. Though there are songs that play slowed down every time on the ipod (there is a messhugga song that keeps doing it only on the ipod for instance).
It should be noted I don't run anything in the backround of windows. Here is a list of my task manager while running itunes.
    system idle proccess
    system
    svchost.exe
    svchost.exe
    svchost.exe
    svchost.exe
    svchost.exe
    svchost.exe
    svchost.exe
    spoolsv.exe
    smss.exe
    services.exe
    lsass.exe
    explorer.exe
    csrss.exe
    winlogon.exe
    wscntfy.exe
    itunes.exe
    Processes: 18
I do run a game pretty often (and listen to itunes as a backround) and I do browse the internet using firefox, so add to that list WAR.EXE and firefox.exe. Whether these are up or not does not seem to matter. The songs slow down with them up and with them closed.
My 500GB HDD has 60GB of space left on it, but erasing/cleaning up the disk or defragmenting it hasn't seemed to help. My itunes library has 55.90 (8940 songs) in it. Cleaning up the library and removing excess duplicates didn't seem to fix the problem. I did move the library from the 500 to the 250, but moved it back when the same thing happened after a few days of playing music.
My RAM doesn't max out, though 2GB is a bit low these days. The WAR.EXE process uses .800-1.4gb (800,000-1,400,000k) of RAM, and the rest of the processes seem to keep well under .400gb max total. itunes stays around ~.064gb (64,984k). And remember, firefox, warhammer online, and the rest running at the same time doesn't automatically cause the slow down. And it slows down whether they are both up or neither are randomly (I listen to itunes sometimes for long periods while reading or painting). I also replaced my RAM fairly recently (other stuff went bad) but the same problem persists.
Lastly, this has happened on my ipod. The problem is that it seems permanent on the ipod, whereas the itunes on my pc will correct itself (seemingly) the ipod version will not correct itself until I sync the ipod.
I have completely removed itunes twice (as well as gotten rid of the registry entries and loose ends using CCleaner). I have deleted the itunes libraries and let itunes create brand new ones. I have upgraded to the most (at the time) recent version of itunes. The problem persists
I may be missing something. I hate using winamp and windows media player, so I haven't just stopped using itunes. But the real problem is that it is so random it's nearly impossible to test. I've tried several different methods of fixing this without tearing down itunes and re-coding it And every time, I THINK I've fixed it only to have it happen again within a week. Hence why this has been a problem for well over 8 months now. It's a small enough issue that I'm still listening to music without loads of problems, but it is a persistent, if infrequent, annoyance.
ANY help you guys can offer me would be greatly appreciated, though I'm not holding my breath since the problem is so weird. But I am willing to try anything if it might work. I can only try them out till they don't work, right?
    Thanks ahead of time.
