My hp g62-a20sa laptop's screen does turn on all the time. is this hardware failure?

If I turn on my laptop screen seems to be working, but not all the time. It simply does not turn on time after time at all. However I can hear PC's fan is spinning and HardDrive is spinning as well...
I have reinstalled OS, also updated graphics card. Nothing helped.
Retail shop where I have bought this PC does not want to replace this PC or hardware, because they 'cannot' identify the problem...

Yes, I am in agreement with you, and I understand it is a big inconvenience because a one-year-old computer is not old at all.
I am not sure if you are aware of the current warranty status of that computer, but if it is still covered, you can get a free repair under warranty. If you are unsure of the warranty, you can check with the HP warranty checker tool.

Short key for copy does not work all the time now.

After I have installed the latest OSX - Yosemite, my short key for copy does not work all the time. It is infrequent how it works. I'm using the same keyboard that I have always used, my wireless logitech keyboard for mac. Please help.

My iPad keeps dimming on wakeup. I am on iOS 6. Auto dimming turned off. I have to go to brightness setting and touch it to get the brightness back up to my setting. It does not happen all the time but has happened more frequently lately. Any ideas?

Because GPS has nothing to do with WiFi, cellular signals, or data of any sort. GPS is implemented by signals sent by satellites that are received by GPS receivers. The receivers process the information from the GPS satellites and calculate your location. GPS never sends data anywhere; GPS functionality is receive only.

TB keeps getting Not Responding message. Screen freezes. Happens all the time. I am running STOPzilla anti-virus

I get the Not Responding message on both TB and Firefox all the time. I have seen issues using McAfee and a list of other Anti-Virus programs but I use STOPzilla and it is not listed at this time. It gets very annoying when typing something and the screen freezes for several seconds and have the Not Responding message and then it will work again. I am running TB 31.0 and Windows 7. Thank you.

When I open another window the cursor defaults to the bottom of the page instead of the top why and how can I fix it? It is a pain to have to keep scrolling to the top all the time. This does not happen with Chrome or IE.

I have noticed that the emails sent out of S1 always default to the end
of the message so we need to scroll up to edit what we've written. Most
of the time I need to edit the text near the top of an email so although
it is a very minor thing, it is a bit irritating.

I have a dashboard in EP, when I click on it the majority of the time a progress bar appears when it is loading. Some time it does not, the page just appears to be doing nothing, then the dashboard will appear.
Any one else seen this issue?

How come skype on mountain lion does not load all the time?

I am about to pull my hair out re: skype not loading on mountain lion (sometimes it does).
Does anyone know why sometimes when you click the skype icon it loads, but most of the time it doesn't?
I click it, it doesn't load, ...
Is there something i need to clear, install, or ???

HorizontalScroll does not show all the time

So I have a custom skin, which I have a scroller in to warp the content. Below is my content. If "holderGroup" has the property width=100% then the horizontalScroll doesn't show when the browser window is sizedsmaller than the content. But if I remove the width=100% from the "holderGroup", so no width setting, then the horizontalScroll shows appropriately when the browser window is sized smaller thant the content. But of course when I remove the width=100% the custom:DetailsPanel doesn't take up the entire screen and looks bad. Anyone know what is going on?

Post the skin. The child you posted had a minWidth of 0 which means that,
if you give it 100% width we'll shrink it all the way to 0 if needed, and
then there will never be a reason to show a horizontalScrollBar.

So o got my ipad 2 just a little over a year ago &just recently my screen is starting to have this glitch. It really wasnt that bad at first, it would slightly glitch when I first use it then in about 5 minutes it would clear up. I've tried leaving it off for a day or two without turning it on or anything. But when i turned it on to see, the screen eas completely white, I could still see the images but they seemed to be in "negative" and it still glitches but now its worse. I've also tried updating my ipad to the newest software, also I have tried restarting it, nothing has happened. Please let me know how I can fix this.

I'm trying to sync my ipod to itunes and want the Welcome screen to appear when I open itunes. Instead, the program takes me straight to my library. How can I get itunes to always open up to my Welcome screen?

Why does Dreamweaver crash all the time, hang all the time and work so slow.

Why why why why why can't Adobe make a simple program that works. I hate Dreamweaver. I'm switching to Transmit. At least it works. Dreamweaver is garbage. Adobe seems to think that if they prettify a program with new splash screens and tutorials that people will buy it. But I already know how to work this useless piece of junk and I don't want to learn how to use it more as the more I use it the angrier I get. And as for tutorials if they'd just organize them and put their links in one spot they'd do every user a favor. I'm sick of looking for information about their useless programs only to find that the onlly resouorce is a tutorial on Lynda.com that's five years old. There are dozens of programs that Adobe makes (and has probably forgotten about) that don't have any manuals and those that have manuals have information that is inadequate or out of date.
I live for the day when a well-organized company buys out Adobe and runs it properly or when it finally gets broken up by whatever anti-monopoly organization their is so there is real competition for new customers and an incentive to create good programs.
Adobe you can go straight to hell.

Well I hope I didn't ruin your day. I have actually talked to Adobe about this problem but they don't listen. I've had service support people on the phone for hours, unable to solve anything and my inquiries have been 'escalated' to the level of software engineers who allegedly wrote the program. They have responded, weeks later, that they were aware of the problem but unable to reproduce it. I'm not the only person who has complained about Dreamweaver or about Adobe's lack of information about its own products. Try, for example, learning about Edge Animate. You can't. There is no manual and what online help is available is sketchy and inaccurate. Even books about the program are inaccurate and Lynda.com tutorials are too old to be of any use. There are some great people on Adobe's forums who have helped me in the past, but what kind of company relies on users to do their job for them? That's like Chevrolet telling you to ask another owner how to change a tire. Adobe even advertises its forums as a pool of 'experts' as if we are all highly trained specialists just waiting to solve your problems. I think people who solve queries online should get paid.
As I said earlier, Adobe is an ugly dirty monopoly and it should be broken up so there is some real competition.

Satellite L655-1EM - why does LED flash all the time?

I bought a Toshiba Satellite L655-1EM this afternoon, and since I've had it on one of the LEDs won't stop flashing.
It's the one next to a short fat cylinder.
Any help would be much appreciated, I even turned everything off and it still flashed!
My old laptop didn't do this.
The LED is really bright so it's very noticeable, and it even flashes in hibernate mode!

Every time when some info must be read from HDD the LED will blink and show HDD activity.
I cannot understand why do you wondering when HDD blinks. It is logic that from time to time something will be read or written on HDD, even if you dont do anything.
Do you know how many background processes run on your notebook?
Please dont make big thing with this. It is nothing unusual and quite normal.
