My HP Photosmart 5520 will not pick up the paper. Can I get new rollers ?

My 5520 printer begins to pick up paper and then stops.
It then says there is a paper jam.
I have cleaned the rollers, I have checked that the duplex is not warped.
The printer is just over 2 years old.
Can I get replacement pick up rollers ?

Newer G5 PowerMacs don't require the external t-shaped aerial, earlier models do and that is probably the cause of the problem.

You can download your movies and tv shows to your iTunes library (depending on your location) as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2519.
What you are seeing is "iTunes in the Cloud", which is a separate service that allows you to download previously purchased media from the iTunes and App store. This does not require setting up an iCloud account so it's likely you don't have one. (If you don't want to see this previously purchased media available for download in your iTunes library, you can open iTunes and go to Edit>Preferences>Store and uncheck "Show iTunes in the Cloud Purchases".)

HP Photosmart Plus B209 - will not print photos - tray is not picking up the paper

The printer will not grab the photo paper when I attempt to print a picture. It works just fine when printing other things, such as text from WORD or something from the internet. Photo paper says "single sheet feed" on it, so I place one sheet in the tray.

Photosmart D7560 will not print envelopes - load paper into main tray

My photosmart d7560 will not print envelopes, after moving the envelope into position for printing, the message "load paper into main tray" is displayed. It does print the envelope data correctly on a piece of 8.5x11 paper. Setup is for a #10 envelope. Envelopes are self sealing. I have tried creasing the edge better but that didn't help. I tried a non-self seal (which had a letterhead on it so I couldn't use it for this mailing) and it DID work. Is there any way to make self seal envelopes work in this printer?

My computer will not pick up the I-pod. Will not pick up the port and I have replaced the cord thinking there may be a problem What do I do next???

It is disabled and I need to do a restart. I have tried on 2 different computers. I have replaced the cord. I have un-installed and reinstalled Itunes more times then I can count. I have checked all the ports and restarted them. It is not picking up the device at all. My Macbook Pro will not boot up. How can I get to the time machine back up?

When I turn on my Macbook Pro, it gets to the gray screen with the Apple logo and the spinning beach ball and stays there. I use Time Machine with a Seagate external harddrive to back up my files. I at first thought recovery meant using Seagates's Replica software, so I followed the instructions, inserting the recovery CD and booting up to the C drive. The Seagate tecnical support person informed me that I was in error and that because I was using Time Machine, the Replica recovery CD would not be useful to me. Now I have two problems. I can't boot up, and I can't get the Replica CD out of the C drive. So I have several questions. How do I remove the CD? There doesn't appear to be a place to use the old paper clip method. Once I've removed the CD, how do I reinstall the OS? I don't seem to have a hard copy of Mavericks that should have come with this laptop.

Lets take this step by step…
Once the disk is ejected see if 10.9 can boot normally.
If that fails let us know what happened.
Power off & disconnect your Time Machine disk and any other external disks just for now (so we know it is safe & not causing this issue).
Reboot & hold alt - it will take you into the 'boot picker' it will list all available boot disks. Make a note of how many disks appear and what the names are - let us know here.
You could try picking the 'recovery partition' if available. That should eventually show you a screen where you can select Disk Utility in the list of options…
In Disk Utility select the 'boot disk' – this is usually the item above 'Macintosh HD' (or whatever your boot disk is called).
Select the 'First Aid' tab
Repair any disk damage that is reported via 'verify'. Then select the 'Macintosh HD' & repair the permissions too.

If you have no recovery partition you can use 'Internet recovery mode' (Command+Option+R at startup) - this downloads enough to repair & install 10.9. Try to use an ethernet connection for the internet - it can be many times faster & more stable than wifi.
Once that completes reboot, hold alt & select your main boot disk (maybe Macintosh HD) if it is available.
The recovery partition can also be used to download & install 10.9.3. However you should probably see what state the Mac's boot disk is in. It's possible that erasing & reinstalling is the only option. If you go down this route you can restore the Time Machine backup, but it's better to see if it can be fixed first.

Psc1210xi all-in-one will not "pull in" the paper

The rollers that "pull" the paper into the printer are not turning ! What could be causing this ?I have enough experience and tools to remove the top of the machine to re-align and/or replace the part (most likely a gear wheel or "belt") if necessary. Awaiting you're reply, Greg G. Beatty

I understand your PSC 1210 model will not feed paper through it properly, and I wanted to share my suggestion.
I would recommend trying out these troubleshooting steps to see if they can help and repair the feed issue. If the problem does continue, I would suggest giving us a call as we do not suggest disassembling the printer.

My HP Photosmart C4280 will print a test page, but can't get it to print from Quark or even Notepad

I downloaded and installed the latest drivers from HP and also downloaded and installed the print diagnostic utility, which found no problems. The printer is plugged into a USB port and the print queue shows the job I've just sent but the job just hangs there. The printer doesn't show any kind of processing light. The display panel just says "copy" on two separate lines and "scan" on another.
Any ideas?

Try power cycling the network devices:
Turn off the printer and computer and unplug the router for 1 minute (do not press any buttons on the router).
Plug the router back in and wait another minute, next turn on the printer and computer and test print again.

After a long session upgrading to 5.0, I am left in a position where my music library will not play! The tunes can be selected and appear normal - but am unable to initiate the music to play.

After upgrading to 5.0. Music will not play. Have tried several reloads etc, but it still remains inactive. All other apps seem to work OK

I did check the Automatic downloads were switched on. The music is still not playing although the icons and all controls are present, the song does not initiate.

My MX922 needed some cartridges changed which I did, and now it will not print. The paper goes thru

My year sold MX922 is about a year old and no trouble until today. I needed to change some cartridges, which I did. They are are full but when I print the paper goes thru and sounds like it is printing but comes out blank. I cleaned the heads and printed a test. The 8 color bars and grid at top came out perfectly. Why can't I all of a sudden not be able to print anything from my computer? I have a Mac 10.7.5.

To resolve this issue, it is recommended that the PIXMA MX922 is reinstalled. Please follow the steps below to uninstall the printer driver:
1. Double-click the Mac HD.
2. Double-click the Library folder. The default behavior of Lion is to hide your user Library folder. To get to it Option-click the Go Menu in the Finder and choose Library.
3. Double-click the Printers folder.
4. Move the Canon folder to Trash. Note: If you have any other Canon printers installed, they will need to be reinstalled as well.
5. Open the hard disk icon again and double-click the Library folder.
6. Double-click the Receipts folder.
7. Move any files related to the PIXMA MX922 to the Trash.
Please use the following steps to download the software for your unit from Canon's web site:
1. Visit Canon's website at: http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/support/consumer
2. Type PIXMA MX922 in the "Enter Your Model Name" box and click GO.
3. On the Support page for your unit, click the 'Drivers & Software' link in the middle of the page.
4. Under Recommended For You, please click on the MX920 series Mini Master Setup.
5. If you agree, please select the checkbox next to "I have read and agree to the terms of the Disclaimer and wish to continue with the download".
