My hp windows 7 laptop will not factory restore

when i try to factory restore my  laptop it gets to a screen saying restoring files and been saying that for over 10 hours

but should i hear wired noises coming from it if the hard drives bad bcz i not hear nothing
No.  Hard drives do not always make weird noises when they are bad.  Weird noises are caused by mechanical failure such as bearings, but when the platters have faults you will not hear any weird noises.
