My HTML snippet widget on iWeb looks great on iWeb, but when I publish the page the HTML snippet doesn't appear on the webpage. Why?

I pasted in some HTML code generated by Google Forms into the iWeb HTML snippet widget. It looked great on my iWeb viewer, but when I published it to my website, the HTML snippet google form did not appear on my webpage. Does anyone know how to fix this?

What's the URL of your site so we can examine it first hand? I assume those black lines are around photos or objects that have had a frame or drop shadow added to it, right? If so that's a known issue.
There's a workaround for that in this tutorial: #7 - Converting Photos w/Frames, Drop Shadows and/or Reflections into a Single Image File. That should get rid of those black lines/boxes.

Yeah, it's interesting where support personnel are located around the globe. My nephew is Argentine/American in Buenos Aires, and he worked as an "American accent trainer" for a shop that did technical support for Kodak and Blue Cross in the US. THEY were all in Argentina.
But you can always check in here...for some of us, English is a native language (I'm sure we all have VERY different accents to our English, though!).
Oh, yeah, Spry was once a kind of vegetable shortening when I was a youngster. I suppose Spry widgets are a way to grease up your site and get it really slick. LOL

It's my understanding based on what another long time contributor stated that Share to iDVD converts direct to a MPEG-2 format and drops it directly into the iDVD Project for you. Share to Media Browser saves it to .MP4 (actually .m4v which is what apple uses for iTunes video,etc) then that gets converted by iDVD into MPEG-2. So something about the export direct to MPEG-2 when you choose Share to iDVD is introducing the problem. That's why Share to Media Browser seems to get around that limitation, it uses a different encoding path altogether.

Avery project looks great on preview but PDF is skewed

I have tried browsers IE and Chrome and been on tech support with Avery for an hour and even uninstalled adobe.

How are you creating the pdf? If you are not using Acrobat or the CreatePDF service we can be of little help. If you use Acrobat, please post in that forum. If you use the CreatePDF service, please post there. If you are using an Avery Service, then you need to work it out with them.

Iweb show layout perfect, but when I publish it is different

I have a website that I have had no problems with. Recently I redid all my pages and gave them an updated look. What I have on Iweb is perfect, but when I publish the site I have stuff in different places, it un-centers things, it leaves lines out, it won't show pictures, etc. The really wierd thing is that the front page is just like I want, but the if you go to my store front and then into the neoprene page it gets totally out of whack. Is it me copying an pasting things that is causing the problem? Has anyone else experienced this?

Why don't you embed your Video of 170’ Single Cut into your page via the YouTube snippet rather than linking to it. It takes the viewer away from your site which might distract them. This demo page has examples of embedding YouTube videos: Adding YouTube Videos.
Also it appears you've used non web safe fonts and converted the text boxes to image files (the two light gray paragraph boxes on the main page is that way and the entire box is a web link. Doing that will increase the load time of a page.
Your neoprene page is messed up because it's missing a quite a few files. How are you uploading the site to your server? I suggest you publish to the Desktop and use an ftp client like Cyberduck (free) to upload just the contents of the site folder to the server. That will eliminate the double thenightmare13.com in the URL field.
You can see which files are missing by typing CommandOptionA while viewing the page. The Activity window will come up with a list of all the files for your site (and any other sites that are in tabs).
It's obvious that you probably will have a lot of visitors who use PCs and Internet Explorer. You might look at Roddy's site, iWeb for Musicians, for tips on making a site more compatible with IE which is a terrible browser. Some of the link are:

Check with friends who are using PCs and see how well they view the site. Then you may want to try some of the tips.

But when I key out the white background in a short segment, I'm left with a very thin, white outline around my person that I don't know how to soften, without loosing facial opacity. No separate server app on the laptop, it's all samba
The files are on a windows laptop and a hard drive hooked up to the windows laptop. The windows share server is pants, so I'd need some sort of third party server running. Maybe you weren't suggesting to use Samba to connect to the windows share though?
I'm glad that you've all understood my ramblings and taken and interest, thanks The way I see it, I can't be the only netbook user these days looking for this kind of convenience, and I certainly won't be once chrome and moblin hit the market.

iCloud does not provide website hosting. You will need to find another website hosting service - there are many to choose from - and upload your site there. How you do this depends on what version of iWeb you have.
In order to upload your existing site in iWeb '09 and above:
Click on the name of the site in the sidebar: the publishing settings pane will open. Set 'Publish to' to 'FTP'. Enter the name of the site and a contact address (if desired).
In the 'FTP Server Settings' section you will need to know the server address (your hosting service can tell you that), and your username and password for that service. Your site will be published in a folder with its name at root level of the server, with an index.html file at root level (which will overwrite any index.html file which may be there already). The 'Directory/Path' field may need to include a path such as '/webspace/' or 'ht_docs/' - this is dependent on your hosting service and they should tell you this. If you want to publish within a folder you can add that to the path.
You can then click the 'Test connection' button so that iWeb can check that it can get access to your server space. You should enter the URL of the site in the 'URL' field so that rss feeds and internal links have the correct address.
To publish using an earlier version of iWeb:
From the File menu choose 'Publish to a folder'. You should create a folder somewhere convenient specifically for this and choose it when publishing to a folder: this folder should not contain anything else.
You now need an FTP program (FTP is the 'protocol' used for uploading) to upload the contents of the folder to your server.Cyberduck is free (donation requested): Transmit is $34 but I think better. You will need the server address (your hosting service can tell you that), and your username and password for that service. You can drag the contents of your folder to your webspace, or create a folder there and drag the contents to that if you prefer.
Some facilities that iWeb provided when hosted on MobileMe will not work on other servers: comments on weblogs and photos, password-protecting your site (some hosts may provide this), searching in the weblog, and a hits counter (again, some hosts can provide code for this). Slideshows in iWeb will work on other hosts than MobileMe (they use different code when FTPing which doesn't depend on scripts hosted on MobileMe as the MobileMe version does); however there is an issue with the 'buttons' which control the slideshow which are images hosted on me.com - these depend on images which used to be hosted on MobileMe. The poster 'Old Toad' on the Apple Forums has provided a workaround, described at http://oldtoadstutorials.net/No.26.html.

I tried a different photo, and the corruption took place at the same moment of the video. How do I prepare the video for export to get it ready for youtube? I wasn't sure whether to clik web or web streaming. Am I supposed to clik Quick Time after I clik Share?

I unfortunately cannot remember where I got the 'trrndlines' plugin... I assume that it must have been from CFX (as it is located under /Users/Dom/Library/iMovie/Plug-ins/cfx/XXXtrrndlines.bundle).
As for what it does, I also do not know, as I do not think I ever used it in my previous video projects.
At this stage, I think I just need to uninstall it so that iMovie doesnt try to use it.
Do you know how to uninstall a CFX plugin in iMovie?
NOTE: I have re-installed iMovie 6.0.4 (instead of iMovie 6.0.3), but still encounter the same issue.

Try creating a new project, and bring in a short clip and one or 2 subtitles and see if you see the same behavior. If you don't, something's probably wonky in the project. If the sample behavior has the same problem, if you want to send it to me with the associated media, I'll take a quick look.

This advice will sound like a joke or prank, but believe me it worked on my iPhone 5 and my daughter's. The lens mechanism got stock on each of our iPhones. We found a post on these message boards that said to hold the iPhone about 6 inches above a table or counter top and drop it so that it lands flat on it's back. Now try the camera ...Fixed! It has been more than six months now and neither of our iPhones have ever experienced the problem again.
