My husband and i just bought a new pc. I went to sync my iPhone and it wants to erase all my data, what do I do?? How do I get my info to the new pc without losing it all?

You need to copy the iTunes folder from the old computer to the new computer; do this while iTunes is not running, then launch iTunes and you will see it. You can then safely sync. If this is not an option there is a MUCH more complicated way to do it: Syncing to a "New" Computer or replacing a "crashed" Hard Drive

When I first turned on iMovie all videos from iPhoto automatically were found. Now I have more videos on iphoto, how do I get iMovie to find the new ones?

Hi jt - Alex was actually referring to video clips in iPhoto not appearing in the item "iPhoto Videos" in the Events Library in iMovie - thanks for your post though (the 2 words are very similar).

I have websites I use for my employer that require a password. The employer requires these be changed periodically. Always before, if I changed the password, about the second or third time I tried to log in and changed the saved password to the correct one, Firefox would ask if I wanted to save the new password. It is not doing this now. How can I get it to save a new password? It keeps putting in the old one.
Make sure that you do not run Firefox in permanent Private Browsing mode.

Everything from my old computer is still in the music portion of my phone, I don't know how but it hasn't synced that part. I went through and edited the new library and there are fewer songs, it's telling my I don't have enough room on my phone. This is impossible when it is less music than I am currently holding. How do I get it to delete the old information and put on the new library?
How exactly was the music transferred to the new computer?
The correct way is to copy the ENTIRE iTunes folder from the old computer to the new computer. If it was transferred properly there are no issues with syncing to the iOS device. -
I have my iphone that i linked with my old computer. I have since bought a new computer and when i log into my itunes account my music is not there. it is under my phone name but if i try and edit the playlist or create a cd off of my music list nothing happens. How do i get my music list back onto my main itunes page where i can edit it and create cds off of it. i have new songs that i have purchased on my phone that that if i sync my phone it will erase them. so I bought a new Iphone and I've had Itunes on my computer for years but the email i used when setting up my original account no longers exists. So I have no way of acessing it. When I bought my phone i put in my current email and I verified it. I can't have my old library with the new email and when i tried to change it i got the message that the email was registered to another I.D Which of course is the one with the phone. How can i join them so i have my music and changed my id?

I have had to change my email address/Apple ID. My iPad recognises the new detail in iTunes and iCloud but when I go into iCloud through my MacBook Air, it requests a password for the old email account which I can no longer use. There is no Option to be able to change this email/ID detail as I cannot get further than the password request. Can anyone help please - this is driving me insane?!
Go to System Preferences and click Sign Out, select Delete at all the prompts, then sign back in with the changed ID? (Your iCloud data will disappear from your Mac when you sign out and choose Delete, but will still be in iCloud. Provided you are signing back into the same account your data will reappear on your Mac when you sign back in.)

If iTunes sees the iPod then:
- iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iOS device or iPod to a computer
- Transfer other music by using a third-party program like one of those discussed here;
Copy music
- Connect theiPod to the computer and make a backup by right clicking on the iPod under Devices in iTunes and select Back Up
- Restore the new iPod from that backup.
Note that the iPod backup that iTunes makes does not included synced media like apps and music.
If iTunes does not see the iPod you are out of luck unless a Date Recovery company can get the data off the iPod. -
New Computer, How do i get my songs on the new one?
I just got a new computer and ive downloaded iTunes onto it, but i dont know how to get my songs onto the iTunes. If i let it update my iPod it will wipe it clean, right? I dont want that.
thanksYou will need to buy software that will allow you to move music from the ipod to the computer. Ipods will not allow you to do it unless you get something else that "unlocks" it. I bought Ipod music liberator from Zeleksoftware
