My husbands iPhone 5 has a shadow up the screen how do I clear it?
I Have a iPhone 5 on IOS 7.1.2 and it has developed a long shadow down the screen today on all screens but it is not as obvious on the home screen.
how can I clear it?

Do you know there is the lock/unlock thing on the top or bottom right? If that doesn't work, hold down the middle circle and top portion of the circle button at the same time and hold until the screen goes black. Let go and soon an apple will appear. If you wait / press some buttons (i am not sure exactly how this part works) it will turn white and then the screen will appear again. You have all your music and everything still but the problem should be gone. This also works if your iPod ever freezes.

I left my iPhone out on a bench near the pool while I went swimming. People were shooting water out of water guns everywhere so it's possible some of the water got onto my iPhone. The iPhone works perfectly and it was dry when I picked up and it was still working. Now there's dark spots and blue discoloration under the screen! I really freaked out and put it in a bag of rice. Has this happened to anyone?? What should I do!?! Thanks!

Hi I have a strip across the middle of my Iphone 4 screen that is not repsonding to touch at all. One minute it was working the next it wasn't. It's right across where I need to input my pincode to unlock, so I can;t do anything with the phone at all. I've tried soft resetting it etc but no joy. What else can I do - phone is only 6 or 7 weeks old
well recomend to see if ur iPhone is under warranty.. but sounds like a hareware issue! you can try it but i dont think it would work but to see if its a software issue put device it Recover mode or known has DFU mode an force restore (you will lose all content on the iPhone) an install 6.1.3 fresh on it but to me sounds like a LCD & Digitizer problem might need a new Assembly...

Hey a few days ago. I left my phone on a table faced down in a small puddle of bubble mix. ugh.
Everything works the sound, touch screen, camera. No glitches. But my phone is discolored & has vertical lines.
I was wondering of If should just get a new screen or if there's a better way ??Try backing up the phone and then do a restore, when you restore set it up as new to see if it still persists if it does you''ll probably need a repair.

Try a reset by pressing and holding the home and power buttons until the white Apple logo appears. Ignore the slide to power off screen.

Double-tap three fingers to zoom in and out.
When zoomed in, drag with three fingers to move around the screen.

To rule out a software issue, set it back to factory settings without using the latest backup.

The problem would seem to be in the firewall in your router. Have you tried disabling it? I assume you've updated the router firmware, right? Consider bypassing the ISP provided router (using it as a modem only) and unsing another device such as an Aiport Express.
