I faced with problem with Oracle Messenger Console. I can not connect to
my Portal Server (RTC Serevrice).
I have installed Oracle Messenger to my Windows Operating System
and It should communicate with My Oracle Collaboration Suite 10g Installed in Linux Os
But I receive following Error:
Sign in failure. "Bad user name or password, Please renter your user name or password"
I should mention that I enter my user name as following format:
<username>@<domain>
also
I have run rtcctl getproperties command to ensure information about my domain.
Any comment and help will be appreciated in advance.

I re-read your question and it is unclear to me what DB platform you are attempting to run on. Is this Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle. Also, please specify the version.
If Oracle:
-Are you able to TNSPING your Oracle XE instance?
-If you can TNSPING it, try connecting from the command prompt via SQLPLUS:
sqlplus admprm$pm/password@XE
Also worth noting, P6r8 admin functions have been moved out of the desktop client and into the Web so you will be limited in what you can demo without installing the web component.

First of all Thanks for u r help...
My application is working perfectly fine ..Appln is related to jsp/servlets and java beans.I have nowhere created cookies in my entire application..Its the default cookies that gets created .The problem is whenever you try to access the site it works fine ..no problme in that..but when the date on the server changes then it gave me the above exception..So i think when date changes it is giving me prob..rest of the day whenever I try to access my application it is working fine...I have only used session object i.e its method setAttribute() and getAttribute()..thats all......Is this related to deafult cookies ..I am using Tomcat 5.0 ...Can you plz help me in this...

You can rename the bad file before running SQL*Loader, or specify the name of the bad file using the BADFILE clause followed by a filename. If you do not specify a name for the bad file, the name defaults to the name of the datafile with an extension or file type of .bad

Bad file name or volume name error

Hello All,
I am currently in a session when all of the sudden, as I arm a track to record and press record i get an error that states..
"Bad File Name or Volume Name (perhaps zero length)
Result Code = -37"
Anybody know how to fix this?

Same message here whenever i try to do a "save as". I've already repaired permissions. Any other ideas?

Bad file name or disk name error

I have a wedding DVD with 3 tracks and 4.6GB of info. I have the last chapter end jumps on each track returning to the main menu.
when i go the Build and format( i am burning the image to the hard drive) it goes almost all the way and then fails with this message.
Bad file name or disk name (perhaps zerolength); attempt to move into a file.
Can anyone help?

Bad file name or number

A customer is sometimes getting the message "Bad file name or number" when selecting 2009.MAR as Time dim in an input schedule (double clicking an EVCVW formula). Unfortunately the error is intermittent; he says he gets the message 2-3 times and then it works OK. He can change it to other years / months, and he can change the Entity. 2009.MAR looks just like any other in the dim list. Anyone seen this one before? (MS7.0 SP3)

You can verify if there is something wrong into the Time.xml file donwloaded locally on the client machine or just try to refresh dimension information on that machine using eTools->Client options menu.

Find programs from badi implementation names

Hi
I have a list of badi defination names from which different badi implementations can be found. Now using that all the programs which are using those implementations are to be found.
if we search in table TADIR with field OBJECT = 'SXCI' and the DEVCLASS = development class of the defination we can get the implementation names.
Now the next table is what i am looking, which can give the program names, which are using those implementations.
Need help with this.

You can use the Table WBCROSSGT to get the list of programs where the BADI has been called.Enter
WBCROSSGT-OTYPE as 'TY"
and WBCROSSGT-name as 'IF_EX_ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST' i.e as a sample for BADI definition 'ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST'.
what you need to do is prefix 'IF_EX_' to the BADI definition name to get the list of programs for a particular BADI.
and you will get the complete list of programs.

Badi under User Exit

Hi ,
In Badi there can be 'n' number of implementations but in User Exit it is only one implementation,can we do the user exit as 'n' number of implementation ?
For E.g: can we write Badi under User Exit? if so how is it possible can any one plz explain detaily?

There are two types of BADIs
1. single used BADI : we can have one implementation for single requirement. If we want to use the same implemetation for another requirement also, we can write our code in already existing implemetation, BUt we can't create seperate implementation for that requirement.
2. multiple used BADI: we can have N number of implemetations. We can implement the BADI per requirement seperately.I found it usefull when we are creating subscreen (Custom tabs) in standard screens.
USER EXITS: User exits are like ABAP Perform in standard SAP programs. We can write code directly in between FORM & ENFORM and activate it. We can use the same exit for N number of requirements by adding our code to already existing one!
If we create a new BADI (single or multiple) we can use the USER exit to write code to call our new BADI. BUT it rarely happens.
Note: As suggested by Keshav, please dont post Interview Qs in FORUM.

Bad package name of main-class, javafx 1.3, java 7u15

I'm facing the same problem as what I read in this previous thread from someone else:

I originally tried to hijack it and rip ownership of that thread away for my own issue but a kind forum moderator has split my post away to let it stand on its own, as I should have done to begin with.
My question is ...
... and I don't have any solution. I am using a javaFX app (1.3) which works perfectly with jre 1.6_11 and 1.7_11, but not with 1.7_15. The exception "Bad package name of main-class" is logged in the console.
I read on the Internet that fixes in java 1.7_13 cause problems to all self-signed applet. So I signed mine with a trusted certificate delivered by my company, and I checked what pmgrundy said 2 posts before, but it didn't solve the problem.
My jnlp file is corresponding to the example given in the official tutorial for applet deployment (http://docs.oracle.com/javafx/1.3/tutorials/deploy-applet/#configure), so the main targeted class is "com.sun.javafx.runtime.adapter.Applet".
Do you have information that can help me in solving this problem ?

Some additional information to the problem, if it can help :
With JRE 6u43 : the applet is initialized and working properly. So the problem might not be due to the security fixes, as this version is including them.
With JRE 7u15 & 7u17 : I tried to run the applet with the runtime v1.3.0_b412, then v1.3.1_b101a, but the problem is the same.
When tracing is enabled through the Java Control Panel, the following lines are displayed at the end of the log :

security: Reset deny session certificate storeI think that the lines preceding those lines are about the validation of the different jars included, using the certificates. When the certificates are not installed on the user workstation, 2 dialog boxes are displayed during the applet validation, so as to ask the users if the applet should be run (and the JavaFX runtime). The certificates are well displayed as trusted. Then, after acceptance, the error occurs.

So we decided to install and invoke its future thru AIX environment.
As per desicion
Installed Succesfuly.
But While Starting the "apachectl" the following Error occurs.
httpd: bad user name porting
./apachectl start: httpd could not be started
I have tried with my little knowledge but could not start it.
Any body face this type of problem ?

REP-50003 - Bad Command name

I verified the url, if i modify (in the address bar itself) the same url with the values i have specified in the cgidat.dat file it work's fine. I have defined the values in cgidat.dat as follows
TUSER: userid=scott/tiger@testdb
in the URL i tried by specifying only the TUSER and then cmdkey=TUSER. I also tried lot of combinations in placing the key name (just after "?" and in the last), but it gives the same error.

Is there an equivalent of the Bad Server Name Cache in the settings for Novell Client 2 for Windows 7? We need this to get our Windows 7 clients working properly with DSFW, but it appears Novell removed this setting, for some reason.

I checked with a member on the Novell Client team. The Novell Client for Windows 7 does not have this configuration setting. So other option available is to change the 'Network Provider Order' to list Microsoft Client ahead of Netware client.

How to find BAdi implemention name

Hi Experts,
In SE18, I am able to find out the BAdi definition name and interfaces and in SE19 I am able to see implementation name and BAdi definition name. The implementation name is customized one. It starts from 'Z*'. But having only BAdi def. name and interface name how can I find out customized implementations. Is there any table which maintains it?
