My i pad 2 stuck on headphone mod.how to fix it?

help  me tq

Unless you set up MobileMe / Find My iPad on it before it was lost/stolen, then no, unfortunately there isn't any way to locate it. If you did set up MobileMe on it then you could try locating it either via me.com on a computer or Find My iPhone / Find My iPad on a another device - but that will only work if it's connected to a network and the device hasn't already been wiped and/or MobileMe disabled on it.
If you think that it was stolen then you should report it to the police.
As a safety precaution you should change your iTunes account password, your email account passwords, and any passwords that you'd stored on websites/emails/notes etc.

  • Why is my iPod stuck in headphones mode? How can I change it?

I was taking a shower and I had my iPod next to the shower playing music.  When I came out as soon as I turned of the music it was stuck in headphones mode. What happened?

    - Try cleaning out/blowing out the headphone jack. Try inserting/removing the plug a dozen times or so. There is a little switch in the headphone jack that disconnects the speaker when the headphone jack is inserted.
Try the following to rule out a software problem
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
    - Restore from backup
    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

    Hello, Hethmarti
Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
I understand that your iPhone indicates that it is stuck in headphone mode.  Try connecting a set of headphones and removing them.  You may need to repeat this procedure multiple times.  If this does not resolve the issue try the additional troubleshooting steps in the attached article below.

  • My iPad is stuck in headphone mode and won't use it's own speaker was until just a few min ago any help please

UUp until just a few min ago the speaker on my iPad air was working just fine then it went into headphone mode how do I get it back to using is own speaker

It is possible that you may have some dust or lint stuck in the headphone jack opening.  It may not be visible via external inspection.  If you have a can of spray air - attempt to clean out the headphone jack (carefully) with the spray air.  If you don't have a can of air - trying blowing sharply into the headphone jack to see if lint or dust comes out.  Also try the other suggestions in this post for rebooting the iPhone and making sure that you do not have the phone muted.

  • My iPodtouch 5th generation is stuck in headphone mode, while no headphones are present! Please help!

Hello to any others out there with my issue and have found a solution!
My ipod touch 5th gen is brand new! Just purchased this product end of July and I love it to death. Today however I ran into an issue that I simply cannot solve on my own. I was oovoo when my ipod randomly cut off and now it is stuck in headphone mode! I haven't even used my headphones all day so I really do not understand. I am not one of those people who drops their electronics or spills liquids on it (no offense) so there should be no reason for this issue. I have tried EVERYTHING sensical to fix this but now I'm lost. please if anyone with the same issue has fixed theirs, please let me know the secret. I mean I didn't spend 350$ for this to happen within 30 days.

My iPhone is stuck in headphone mode. I've tried inserting and removing headphone jacks, blowing compress air into jack opening, using warm air from hair dryer, and a number of setting changes, but the iphone is still in headphone mode.

    it's a hardware issue
    https://discussions.apple.com/thread/1343532?start=315&tstart=0

  • Getting stuck in Headphone mode not necessarily a hardware issue, is it?

I've read on the net that cleaning the headphone jack can correct this issue. I've also read that inserting the headphones and removing them many times (I think I've seen 7 or 8 times) can also correct the issue. None of these issues worked for me.
What I did notice is that the presence of my headphones was indeed being detected. With the headphones plugged-in, I set the volume to a low volume, for example. With the headphones removed, I set the volume near maximum. Mind you, the phone is in Headphone mode, and won't normally play out of the speaker. But when you insert the headphones, in this example, the volume jumps to the low setting, and when the headphones are removed, the volume jumps to the near maximum setting.
So insertion and removal of the headphones is indeed detected. So this isn't a hardware issue, then, is it? There's got to be something else going on.

Well, I backed up, erased, and restored to get proper functionality. No longer stuck in headphone mode. I tried compressed air, and cleaning the jack. Those attempts didn't fix me. I believe it's just a bug that will eventually get fixed, or a setting that will reset the logic associated with the headphone.
