First try a Reset ( No Data will be Lost )
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least Ten seconds... (But can take Longer)... until the Apple logo appears. Release the Buttons
If no joy... Try a Restore...
1: Connect the device to Your computer and open iTunes.
2: If the device appears in iTunes, select and click Restore on the Summary pane.

How can I sync photos the way they are in subfolders?
So normally I have my photos in one main folder, which i sync with my ipod. When I do this, all my photos are in the order that the Sub-Folders appear within the main folder. This is how I've always wanted it to be, but for no apparent reason, my ipod touch now disregards the subfolders and just organizes every single photo in alphabetical order, completely throwing off any sort of organization.
What I want to know is there any way that i can sync my photos with my ipod touch so that they'll show up the same way that they appear within the subfolders, regardless of whether they're in alphabetical order or not? I can't use iPhoto due to being on a Windows PC, so that option is out the window.why can't you use the keyboard the way it is printed?

Hello. When I turned on my Ipone 4s today all of my contacts were gone. They are backed up in iCloud but can't figure out how to get them from there back to my phone. Aren't them supposed to sync automatically over wifi? Can someone please help me?

Check to make sure that Contacts is toggled on to sync by going to Settings > iCloud. Also go to iCloud.com to see if the contacts are showing up there to see if it syncing those contacts.

I've had always my music library really tight, I mean, I have the artists, and their respective albums, with their respective songs ordered in the proper way as the original records.
I've never had a problem and everything worked fine, until I installed Itunes 7.0: when I sync my Ipod the songs aren't anymore like Itunes displays, they are ordered and displayed from better to worst sound quality (kbps), and I can no longer listen to the records in their original order, making my Ipod useless since I'm a big fan of prog rock, and many albums are conceptual therefore there is a linear story, I mean, there's a particular order in which the artist wants their songs to be listened. I had to restore my iPhone, but my apps from the app store are now missing. However, they are still backed up on my PC. I tried synching, but no luck. Any ideas??

I had this same problem. I just updraded my iPhone 4 to iOS 6.0, and it wouldn't sync with iTunes (Error 1150).
I tried a couple of the other things suggested on this forum:
1. Uninstall and reinstall iTunes (didn't fix it)
2. Change the Sharing and Permissions for iTunes to everyone: Read & Write. This has also been termed as "removing all restrictions". (didn't fix it)
3. Messed around with a bunch of options -- don't sync everything, sync only some things, etc. (didn't fix it)
Finally, what worked (at least for me) was the following:
(1) With iOS 6.0 still installed, restored the iPhone to factory settings.
Went thru the basic on screen setup on the iPhone once it was back to factory settings.
(2) Restored my individual settings from Backup, via iTunes.
After this, it sync-ed properly and everything seems to work fine. Go figure. -
My iPhone 5 dies at 20-24% it doesn't go all the way to 0%. Will apple replace my phone or fix my phone for free since its hardware problem and I have no money. This is my second iphone 5 replacement. I have no apple care so I'm worried. My phone has NEVER touched water! I only get 1/5 of battery use. Also my screen lighting is all topsy-tervy every I put my screen on highest it won't work I have to wait about a minute? Forgot to mention that my apps exit out by themselves all the time when Im using them.
So, have you tried a reset? Restore from backup? Restore as new? You seem to have a few problems but do not mention any action taken to resolve them. What have screen protectors to do with anything?

A family member gave our kids their old iphone with music already loaded for them. How do we add the music to our library? It won't transfer purchases from the phone and if I sync it, the music is erased. Can someone walk me through this?

Hi, are you doing it through Settings or via iTunes? If doing it through Settings, try plugging it in via USB and updating with iTunes. Hope this helps.

I have an iPhone 5s and in my iTunes music library have the songs checked that I want downloaded onto my phone. Instead of doing this, it is syncing all songs whether they are checked or not even tho I have the "sync only checked songs" box checked. So basically it's syncing all of the songs when I just want the checked ones on. This is very frustrating.
When your device is connected, check the tabs at the top ("Summary" "Apps" "Music," etc. Under the Music one, check to see if "Sync Music>entire music library" is checked. If it is, that may be why all the songs are syncing.

Did that and I tried again, download stops halfway through and comes up with same message I have already quoted. Wifi Signal is 5/5, network is working, just not letting me download via iTunes. -

I've just signed up to iTunes Match as I have songs on my iPhone 4 which wont sync with iTunes as they are from CDs but I can't see my music in the cloud now. Anyone had the same problem and have an easy fix?
What fixed it for me:
On your computer, open iTunes > My iPhone (or whatever name you gave your iPhone) > "Music" page
Uncheck "Sync Music"
Click "Sync" button (bottom right)
Let it run and finish
Uncheck the box for every song, playlist, etc.
Click "Sync" button (bottom right) (This step may be unnecessary, but I did it and got the result I wanted.)
Let it run and finish
Check the boxes for the music you want on your iPhone
Click "Sync" button (bottom right)
Let it run and finish
See if that doesn't work for you. I tried a lot of things that did nothing, but this seems to have fixed it, and quickly.
