As explained here, have your friend turn off Find My iPhone (iPad).

Hand her the iPad so she can do that.
Then do Settings > General > Reset > Erase all content and settings and start over with a brand new iPad (as if it just came out of the box).

In iTunes you can choose to use a folder for photos rather than iPhoto.
I have a folder in Pictures called iPhone, and I export to subfolders of this. These subfolders become albums in the Photos application.
I have a preset setup to give me 760 long edge photos, sRGB at quality 80.
If you want to be even lazier about it, you could set up an Export Preset folder called iPhone and create a preset for each folder. So you could make a preset called Friends that exports to the subfolder Friends. (this is then an album called Friends on the iPhone)

You can't. You will have to place the iPod in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

I am sure one of my children set this password but now can not remember it..(young kids..my fault for giving free access). Since the battery died and I had to recharge now I cant get into the phone because a PIN has been set. I dont know the pin. The safest way is to take the phone to your local Verizon store. They have the PUK (personal unlock key) to open the phone for you. Once open, you can remove the forgotten password, or change it.

You'll have to connect it to wifi so you can sign in with your password to authenticate the account. If the pop-up is blocking you, try resetting the iPad (hold the power and home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo, then release). As soon as you can after it restarts, go to Settings>Wifi and connect to your home network before the pop-up comes back.

I purchsed an apple iphone 4s(8gb) GSM phone in jakarta from authorised apple store on 22/3/2014.The phone could recognise only 2 network service providers out of many that are available .Despite all efforts (approximately 6 hours) to make the phone recognise other sim cards,nothing could be done. The reseller finally begged excuse and said that this phone was meant for use only in indonesia with only 2 service provide(xl & mentari).& with no other service providers at all. That sounds weird to me. At the end of the day, the reseller finally cancelled my transaction and i had to return back home sad & empty handed.

I'm fairly certain this is expected behavior if you have a CDMA carrier like Verizon or Sprint. The phone cannot handle being on a call and using data to receive messages or email.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
First you should try logging out of your iTunes Store account (settings > iTunes Store > accounts) and then back in again.
If that doesn't help, try resetting the Apple TV (Settings > General > Reset > Reset all settings). You should also try restarting your router.
If both of the above don't help, you should try a restore (Settings > General > Reset > Restore).
