An email with an attached photo is not sent but an email with text only is sent?
If so, any error message provided when an email that includes an attached photo is not sent and the email remains in the Outbox?

Hi there,
My iphone phone wont send pictures without me having my mob data on. Once this is on it sends without any problem. But the only problem is that the people i am trying to send photos to if they don't have internet they will not receive this???
Is this the only way of sending?? Can there be a way like using my credit instead of mob data???

You need some form of Internet connection, either Wi-Fi or cellular, to send and receive pictures.

im having this issue with my iphone where it wont send picture messages to non iphone users. this problem is all of a sudden, it used to work and now its not. ive checked to see that my mms messages are turned on in settings and it still wont send. also picture messaging is included in the plan i have for the phone. any advice?

I see these some times. It is usually related to a carrier problem that clears up eventually. One thing that might work is to reset your phone. No data will be lost.
First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

Are you trying to send the pic with Messages or Mail?
If it's with Messages, this Apple doc might help ya out -> iOS: Troubleshooting Messages
If it's with Mail, you may have to try another email provider or connecting to the Internet over another network.

for some reason iMessage wont let me send pictures anymore. ive browsed online and noticed several people with the same issue.
i tried turning off imessage and rebooting the phone.
i can send text over imessage fine. its just with pictures.
extremely irritating. this has been going on for weeks.
did they **** the bed on iOS 6 or something? (more so than already documented i mean)

For the past couple of months I have not been able to sent picture messages to people who don't have iphones. I thought it was because a new update was coming soon. Once the update came and I downloaded it, it still was not working. I can send regular texts to people who don't have iphones but just not pictures. I have tried sending pictures to both people with iphones and without. I can send them to people who have iphones. Also, the ones who are non iphone users can't send me pictures either. And it's not just certain phones because I have tried with 3 different people who have different phones and different service providers. I have searched online and tried what other people have suggested but can't figure it out. All my settings seem to be fine. I have a 4s. Someone please help!!

Yes, it could allow the app to change the types of photos allowed to be viewed and sent, but also change the format in which they are taken. Essentially, if the App is only functional for JPEG2 images, then it will stop the phone from editing, and sending/receiving pics in any other format. If Removing those apps doesn't help, then first, I would do a network reset.
Settings > Genreal > Reset Settings > Reset Network Settings. This will not cause you to lose anything on your phone, but rather, it will reset all WiFi settings, and your connection to your carrier tower. This could be the issue.
Also, you could contact your carrier... For example (because I don't know the details of your contract), if your hubby doesnt want you sending/recieveing pics, or your on your parents contract, they could have turned off the feature to send./recieve pics... But if your communicating to a phone via iMessage, then that feature can't be stoped via the carrier because it's essentially an instant messanger dont over the internet.. Also check you restrictions.. If you acidentally restricted phonos on your phone, it will do the same thing... It will stop texts from sending/receiving pics, but cannot control iMessage as its an instant messanger and not a Text.
If this doesnt help, then I would consider restoring your phone off iTunes. You shoul dbe backing up regularly(once a week min) and then you may be able to correct this issue. If a restore doesn't help, then I would visit an Apple store.

Just wondering if anybody knows why my Nokia 6110 wont send texts it will recieve texts and allows me to call, i have checked the msg centre number i have updated the newest version of software, i have restored my factory setting, i'm not sure what else to do can anyone help? it's been like this for about 3 weeks now.

ive had the same problem with my nokia 6110.im with virgin and they tried to reset all the settings,even sent me out a new sim card and still wouldnt work.Sent it off to Nokia for repair and after waiting 4WEEKS!!! to get it back,it was working fine.It seemed that all they did was a upgrade.A mth later,it happens again but this time i called Virgin and demanded a new phone.I received a 6210 NAV and after 6 mths of having this one,its doing the same thing grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.Still dont really know what the problem is but youre not alone

jannwj, sending and receiving pictures is very important these days because we try to capture the moment all the time. I know this issue is frustrating because I take, send, and receive pictures at least 20 times a day. I researched your issue and did not find this as a known issue. Do you receive a error message? I recommend checking your message settings to ensure they are enabled. I have listed the steps below:
1) From the home screen, select Settings.
2) Select Messages.
3) From MMS Messaging, drag the switch left or right to enable / disable. Enabled when set to ON.
Please let me know if this helps. Also ensure the data network is enabled. I have listed steps below:

3) Select Cellular.
4) Drag the Cellular Data switch left or right to enable / disable cellular data.

My blackberry torch 9800 wont send pictures

I have a Blackberry Torch 9800,
I have no problem receiving pictures via text, bbm etc.
But when I try to send them from my phone there is no option to do that,
I hover over the image I want to send in the media file, only the options
'switch application' 'cut' 'copy' 'select' 'view' 'rename' 'properties' 'delete' 'view as slideshow' 'set as wallpaper' 'assign to contact' hide headings' 'view list' 'call voice mail' 'search' 'media home' 'switch language input' 'options' 'help' and 'close' are listed,
I have seen other tutorials in which blackberry torch's send images and there should be a send option, but it does not list any 'send' option on my phone.
Also on blackberry messenger, I am able to click attach file, find the file I want, but when I click on the image, it opens it up instead of sending it.
is there any reason behind this?

I posted a thread on the exact same problem.
My torch used to be able to send pictures either through email or text but now it simply hasn't got the option anymore.
It will ONLY send an image if you are composing a message [email or text] and open the camera and shoot a picture right then.
THEN you get a photo in your message but anything pre-existing in your image folders will never be able to be selected and attached, there IS NO option whatsoever for this feature even though it USED TO do this.
Its as if some bug crept in and deleted the ability overnight.
And a hard reboot does nothing to solve the problem
I have searched high and low for settings and presets that might affect it and there is none from what I have found.
It was suggested to update my software on my torch but it could be several days before I have time for that.
Besides, the current version of my mobile's OS had the ability to send pictures, it WAS there, it just isn't now.
Sorry don't mean to hijack your thread, but its the exact same problem I reported a few days ago, I've been struggling with it for months now

Make sure that in Settings > Messages that MMS Messaging is on. At that point, pictures should start sending just fine!
If that does not work, contact your carrier, as at that point it would be possible that you are not 'provisioned' (signed up for) picture messaging (MMS), at which point your carrier will need to either sign you up for it (messaging rates apply) or to reprovision you for it, basically turn picture messaging off on your account, and turn it back on, sometimes fixing issues like this.
