My i pod is broken HELP!!!!!!!!!

it was working just fine. then one day i go to turn it on and it wont, so i try to charge it and it does nothing. what should i do?

Mine is doing the same thing. Whenever I plug it into power the screen lights up a little. if I press to reset it gets a little brighter for a second and then turns off. I thought the battery was dead so I tried charging it overnight and when I got up it was really hot.

Apps for OSX aren't in iTunes: they are in the App Store in your Applications folder. The payment method is the one registered in iTunes. There's no app actually called Yoga Studio, though there are several Yoga apps. There is an iOS app called Yoga Studio but it appears to have no OSX equivalent, though I haven't done a detailed search.

Samba4: Debugging broken helper responses with ntlm_auth

I've been using mod_auth_ntlm_winbind+apache2 for NTLM authentication on my Arch web server. I decided to go through and overhaul my old server (thank you dropbear and busybox, makes all the fuss with breaking glibc/filesystem trivial), and in the process samba went to samba4. I'm completely up to date as of yesterday.
Now, all of a sudden I'm unable to get a proper handshake out of ntlm_auth, and nothing has changed with the config of my box.
I'm able to kinit a ticket, klist shows it fine. I'm able to net ads join (I did a net ads leave just to start from scratch), wbinfo -u/-g works fine, net ads info reports sane information, it all _looks_ good, until I try to auth via apache. Then I get a handshake response of "BH NT_STATUS_UNSUCCESSFUL" which seems to be the most vague error ever.

I've cut out the base64 strings (I parsed them in an offline tool, they look fine) just for privacy.
Does anyone have an idea on how to even begin to debug this? I've got no idea where to go, I perused the source of ntlm_auth but it seems to just be a helper into winbind, and that's a bit too big for me to eat right now.

Well, I downgraded to samba 3.6.10 (last version I had cached) and everything works now, I only wish I knew what was wrong. I'll stick with 3x. Not sure if I should mark this solved as technically it isn't?

I have two questions and appreciate anyones help, First I can not seem to copy music from a legitimately purchased CD into my iTunes library or i pod, can anyone help me with this? it used to work. i have i pod touch and second-.

Thank you for any help I appreciate it. Apple products came highly recomended to me, and I have been largely happy with my i phone, i pod, i pad mini and macbook. I admit I tunes always confused me, it is so hard to copy things back and forth from computer to device or vice versa. Most importantly my partner has given me a set of CD with audio books, legitimate CD's not burned copies, and I wish to play them on my i pod touch. I have donethis before with CD''s, however now I look i see all the songs and audio books from CD's have been removed from my device after synch with my itunes on my macbook??? and I can no longer cooy the new CDs on to there? i try put them in the library, and they show up but they are not in black printing like the other songs, they are a faded grey color. They play on the mac book in itunes, so i know they are THERE, they just wont go on my device??? What am I doing wrong and why did all my other ones turn to grey gaded text and go off my i pod.
Furthermore, i thank anyone who takes time to help me, it isnt your job, it is apple's job, but they want me to pay forty bucks for the priviledge of contacting them for help because my warranty expired !! They obviously did something with a new update of their i tunes, there should be NO DIFFICULTY copying audio books i legally own the CD for onto my i pod, why is it so impossible? I have asked my father, my brother, my flat mate, no one can work it out, so its not just that im an idiot.
People warned me that apple does things like this, makes stupid programs like i tunes, that make nothing but trouble so you have to pay to ask for help, and make it so you have to buy everything from their library not on CD. I woudl buy from them if they had the audio books and songs I wished to purchase but they don't always have what i want. And if they did why shoudl i pay AGAIN when i paid for the CD already , i paid for the I pod, i legally own them both so why can i not put my own music on there??? It makes me miss my simple MP3 player where i just plugged it to my computer and copy/paste. It really makes me wonder why when i POD is so much more expensive why its so much more trouble and you have to pay to ask for help??? I really have enjoyed my macbook (After being windows used all my life), i love my i pad and i phone, and until now i adored my i pod, but if it's not going to let me listen to my own music and audio files i may as well throw it in the trash and go get a mp3 player, and warn everyone I know. If there IS a way to copy my own music to the device then WHY IS IT SO HARD?? Just to make people pay to ask for help or what?
I am a loyal apple customer, All my devices are apple and until now i have been happy and willing to pay more for a good product. But i tunes is ridiculous! It's already synched things i didnt want synched and deleted things i didn twant deleted, and thats fine i told myself maybe im too dumb and dont get it. buT i've been trying all week and asked other peopel and still cant get this simple task done, and after purchasing their devices and recommending them to my friends, its a slap in the face to say they wont even let me ask a support question without paying forty bucks! A very unhappy customer-- not just that i cant pplay my music and audio books, but that i cant even contact anyone for help without paying after i purcahsed four different products off them in the two years!

The sort fields should generally be empty unless you've putting in custom values to sort solo artists by their surnames. You can apply common changes to thousands of tracks at once, just don't apply the wrong change because there is no undo.
It is a good idea to backup before undertaking large scale changes. See this backup tip for a suggested approach.

Return/enter key is broken, help please.

So basically, after I downloaded an update for my computer, restarted, blah blah, my enter key broke. Also, my mouse would flash randomly sometimes too, and occasionally i would type a word only for it to be highlighted for some reason and I would accidentally delete it. But my main concern is the enter key. It's making using my macbook very difficult, and I would appreciate it if someone could help. Also, I'm using a 13 inch Macbook pro from late 2012, and the update was an update for mavericks, but I can't remember it's name.

It's probably broken. I've never heard of software breaking a keys, but it's possible, so you might want to back up your data and do a clean install. If it still doesn't work , it needs to be repaired

HP Simple Save 2 TB External Hard Drive (3.5-inch, USB 2.0) Broken HELP!

OK so I've searched around for a solution to my problem but have found no answer so I'm trying here.
I've had my HP Simple Save 2 TB External Hard Drive for a few of years now, it's served me great, I used it for storing all my photos but the usb connector has snapped off from the small CD drive inside the casing.
This has simply been through use, it was working fine, not wobbly or mistreated in any way, it must have just came to the end of it's life and now I can't hook it up to my computer to get the photos, I'm desperate to get them back, wedding photos, birthdays etc most of you must know how I'm feeling.
So I looked up a few solutions, one was to buy a USB-to-IDE/SATA adapter and use that to connect to the computer, well it works as far as recognising that a device is connected but won't load the files or folders to view.
As I've looked around apparently the small CD drive that's inside the case has software that my computer automatically loads? Now this is where I'm lost, how do I manage to get this to work?
I'm almost at my wits end, as far as looking every single day on Amazon and eBay to buy a new one to transfer the CD drive onto the broken one to load it up and get my photos back, IF that would even work, I'm not sure.

In case anyone it´s interested I restore the autorun.inf into the drive and the problem was that I put all the toshiba software into one folder to be more organized. As soon as I place it back again outside the folder (in the root of the hard drive). It grab the canvio image.

What the heck i-pod! please help me!

My old laptop had too be taken away, and so i had to use my old desktop which i haven't used in a couple of years. so anyways i really wanted to download new song on my i-pod and so i installed i-tunes and all those good stuff but then when i connect my i-pod it doesn't show it as a source and also says something about how i needed to re-install the latest update of i-tunes because i-tunes wasn't commucnicating or something like that with the i-pod. i re-installed itunes wayyyy too many times and it still didn't work and i am 199 percent sure that i have the latest itunes update but whenever i connect my ipod it still has the same problem which is that i needed to reinstall the latest version of itunes and its just really making me mad. will you please help me?!?!

Is your iPod online or offline? If it's offline or physically turned off; no power. Your only option is to physically go look for it. If your online and you set up find my iPhone with iCloud you should be able use that to help you, BUT if you did not set this up before you lost the iPod, I believe your back to physically go look for it, sorry. My LCD Screen is Broken - HELP!

Right.
Bought my blackberry a month ago now, within ten days the screen had broken.
Of course, it's accidental damage and isn't covered by the warranty - my own stupid fault.
So, I asked around and sent it off somewhere locally.
They couldn't replace the screen, said the motherboard wasn't working, although since I can recieve calls, texts, emails, the lot, I highly doubt it. The only problem is, of course, that I could only see 3/4 of the screen.
So, I'm looking around the blackberry website and nothing, anywhere, is of any use to me whatsoever.
I found some page that said they charge $190 for any repair or something
a) I live in England
b) I can get a new one for that!
Will someone please help and either recommend a place where I can get it fixed

Give me some clue as to how I can get it done officially via the website, because it all seems to be a load of jargon to me.

There is no "official" repair other than through the carrier. If you are any good at taking small electronic things apart, it's not that hard to replace the screen. You can get one here:

My I-pod has broken when i dropped only 1 foot off the ground!

I have an ipod 4th generation and i dropped it around a foot from the ground.It broke. The ground wasn't a very rough or hard surface either.I feel for this i should be able to get it fixed for a lower or free price. Can this be arranged?
I also feel that the I-pod's should be built to handle being dropped, especially if it was dropped only a foot off the ground.

The Apple Store will not repair your iPod, they'll replace it. So none of your apps nor data will be on the replacement iPod. You may be able to re-download your In-App purchases, though not all are eligible. See:

Found the solution. when playing pandora, double click the home button and then Right swipe the apps bar to bring up the volume controls. There is the arrow for pushing to the apple tv.
