My I-pod is frozen. I already tried to restore and it didn't work

My I-pod froze just a few moments ago. I tried to put it into a computer to charge the battery because it was getting low. I-Tunes didn't read it at all. I tried restoring it twice and that didn't work. No matter I do, it won't respond. The screen is in the middle of the song and it's just sitting there. Any suggestions on what to do? Thank you!

Mine is doing that too. I tried the Menu/Center button. It's definitely fully charged. I've clicked from Hold/not several times. I've turned off/on. I've 'Reset' - nothing is working. It's been doing this for a week.
I called the 800# - I thought the dude was really nice. I was disappointed to find that I'd hafta pay $30 to have it shipped/$39 for 'agreement'. I've only had it for a couple months...

No. All iTunes purchases remain permanently tied to the account used to purchase them. You can however authorize your computer for multiple accounts and any Apple devices can hold protected content from up to five different accounts at any one time.
If you are trying to merge two separate iTunes libraries into one that is a different problem. Take the largest, add all the content from the smallest, then dedupe.

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just canceling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

Did ios 8.2 update froze on itunes plug in screen and tried to Reset and that didn't work. Then I had to restore, and then had to go to DFU mode to do so then I had reset to factory mode. Black screen. (I never jail broken ever)

I started out just simply trying to update my iphone 5 to ios 8.2 and it got stuck on the itunes plug in screen. I had to wait till then next day to ask my boyfriend to fix it because I have a chromebook and it can't get itunes. He did everthing apple told us to on the website, and it didn't work. We tried to reset the phone and that didn't work so we did the next thing, and tried to do a restore on itunes. However when did that it wasn't working so we put my phone into DFU and tried to do a factory reset. But, it didn't work and my phone ended up just turning black. I can see the back light on the screen (the light stays up like normally when you turn on the home screen) but, there is no logo or anything. Is there anything I can do to save my phone??? Please help. If you need anymore info let me know!

The Problem is resolved by :
Click on the "Start" button. Click "Run." Type the word "cmd" in the open box. When the DOS screen comes up, type "netsh winsock reset." Press "Enter." Type "exit" to close the DOS window and go back to Windows.
Restart the computer.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

I was able to fix mine. I went to software update and updated a few things. I did not update everything, but only what I thought were the essentials, which I believe was Safari, a security update, and a firmware update.
Then I deleted and reinstalled Itunes yet another time. Now the itunes store is back up again.

Yes there is. You apparently have Hardware damage inside the iPhone from dropping it. You would need to take it into an Apple Store and Pay for an exchange unit, which Apple will do; Apple's Warranty does NOT include replacement for "accidental damage", so the Exchange is not free.
