You do not need Snow Leopord (10.6.X), but you do need Leopord (10.5.8) and iTunes 10.x for iOS 4.3. You need iTunes 10.5 for iOS 5

received my Ipod touch 16gb 2nd gen this morning from an ebay seller.
i have been trying to get it to work.
its screen is ALL BLACK , DOES NOT POWER ON, DOES NOT CONNECT TO MY PC.
I have installed latest itunes, my ipod isnt recognized, and it isnt even charging.
Ive tried my old ipod classic's cable, which works with my old ipod.
It doesnt work on touch either.
tried on a different pc, no use. re installed itunes, tried everything, its just black :s what the heck is this ?
I checked for serial number, it says on apple.com that it has warranty till Jan 2010

IPod touch sudden black screen, not detected by iTunes

I was using my iPod Touch yesterday & connected it to iTunes, it beeped like usual when it's plugged in, was lit up for no more than a second, then suddenly went black. I tried plugging it both into a wall outlet (using a USB converter) & back into my computer, & it was not detected.
I have tried holding down home+power for 10 seconds & just power for 10 seconds & it still isn't turning on or showing up in iTunes. Any ideas?

When my itunes updated to 10.5 version it hasn't detected my ipod..at first i can see it synching but after a while it disappeared.it's my first time to have this bug on my ipod..and i was worried because i could no longer update my ipod touch using the itunes..i already check the trouble shoot for ipod touch but to my disappointment it was no use...still same problem...i want this prob fix as soon as possible..pls help...

I already tried uninstalling and reinstalling all the Apple software on my computer but that didn't help whatsoever. Both devices are fully charged, and I have tried different cables and USB ports, but to no avail. When I check for the driver software in my Device Manager (in various categories, but most importantly, the Universal Serial Bus controllers), it doesn't appear, so I figure that might be the basis of the problem. Is there somewhere that I can download the driver since it's not automatically installing when I plug in the iPods?

It would change the time and date and everytime i'd turn it to the correct date it would go back when i clicked a new app. it wouldn't load apps corectly because of this date and time problem. So i decided to erase everything and start fresh. But now it won't even load properly it just stays on the apple screen with the loading spin thing stuck. someone please guide me into fixing this problem

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Photoshop CS5 64-bit does not detect Video Card

I just updated from CS4 to CS5. I have a core i7 with an ATI HD 5700 series graphics card with the most recent driver 10.9. Photoshop is also updated to 12.0.1. For some reason, only the 64-bit version does not detect the graphics card. Photoshop CS4 64-bit and Photoshop CS5 32-bit see the graphics card fine. I noticed a few others have had the same issues. Has this problem been addressed yet? If not, is there a workaround?

Spotify Connect - Does not detect Denon Ceol N9

Hi, I have installed the spotify app (using premium) on my HTC one m8 (Android 5). While I am able to detect and play music to my wondows 7 laptop, it does not list my Denon Ceol N9 network player, and I am unable to stream music to my stereo using spotify connect. My new Airport Extreme -802.11ac model is not detecing my External USB HDD when connected via the USB port in the Airport Extreme.
I'm using a Seagate USB HDD 3TB, and it's working when i connect my previous generation Airport Extreme router.

First of all, hello to everyone...
i want to say that i read a lot EVERYWHERE about my issue and still i couldnt find a solution...
the problem is easy, i have a 3rd gen ipod touch, OS 4.2.1 now fully working... but, it's not detected in windows or itunes, as simple as that, and as u all have read in lots of other posts...
my ipod is now working because i took it to an apple store and they charged it in a MAC and they had no problem at all. the MAC detected the ipod, with all its content and my ipod's name...
but when i took it home -this has been hapenning since maybe... 5 MONTHS!-, i plug it in my PC and nothing happens...
ok, first of all, my spec... win vista home premium 64 bits, last version of itunes...
i tried ALL the solutions provided in APPLE official support page, and nothing happens... that means:
1- completely uninstall itunes and then reinstalling it... i ALSO FORMATED my entire hard drive twice!!!!
2- tried all USB ports and even an entirely different PC and nothing happened
3- bought 3 different IPOD to USB cables and nothing happened
4- tried setting ipod to restore, that way itunes SOMETIMES detected the ipod but i coulnt restore because of different error codes, so i had to take it several times to apple store to "unblock" it...
the only way it works -detection and charge- is with MAC computers or dock systems such as an iHome my gf has thats the way im charging it now, but otherwise it wont work...
i would really appreciate any help, since idont know what else to do!!

HI I was having some other problems getting my itouch to restore because it was not being recognized in itunes and kept erroring out. Now it has finally restored after I updated all kinds of drivers and removed and reinstalled itunes and apple software a million times,(yes this is all after installing itunes 8.1 and paying for an itouch upgrade as well) Now itunes says it cannot do anything with the ipod because it is getting an invalid response from the device. So it won't put anything back on my itouch or even show that I have plugged it in. I emailed tech support, If I find anything out I'll let you know, will you do the same for me?

Have retried rebooting after uninstalling but before reinstalling. The error message indicates that something is still running that interferes with what you want to do.
