My ibook is too big to be sent???

When I try to send the book I have just finished, I get the message that it is too big to be sent.
What can I do??? Have used a lot of time to finish this book......

With the amount of information you've provided it's impossible to offer a solution.  We can't see your computer so we need to know the details of your problem and setup, i.e.:
what version of iPhoto are you using?
what system version are you running?
how big is too big?  Books are limited to a max of 100 pages.

Try force-closing Mail: double-tap the home button, locate Mail in the list at the bottom, tap and hold it until it wiggles, tap to close it, finish by tapping the home button.  Then go the you email provider's webmail site (such as iCloud.com for @me.com mail), log into your account and delete any emails you find in your Drafts folder.  Then open Mail again and see if it stopped trying to send.

I have created an ibook in ibook author and it appears in ibook on my Mac.  How do I get it on my iPad.  It is too big to email.

You can install MAMPon you mac (free web server, no configuration needed).
Put ePub file in Applications/MAMP/htdocs and you can download locally (quicker than Dropbox, Mega, etc...)
    On your iPad's nevigator type:
    http://mac_local-lan_IP:8888/NameOfYourBook.epub
You can see local IP on: System Preferences/Lan or System Preferences/Sharing
iPad and Mac must be in the same lan/wifi network.

    Hi,
When you have the browser open (Internet Explorer) then press the Alt key on the keyboard. It should show you the file options at the top..Then uncheck work offline and check..
    Note:
If you have HP Support Assistant installed on the computer(The Blue Question Mark) then open it ==> Complete all pending Updates & Tuneups==> Restart and Check. It may solve your problem
Although I am an HP employee, I am speaking for myself and not for HP.

I had sent an email that was too big to go. It keeps popping into my "Recovered Messages folder I empty my "Recovered Messages"& it comes Back & its blocking all my incoming emails

First, you need to show folders and files which are normally invisible. To do this, open Terminal in Utilities and copy/paste
defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles -bool true
    Hit return, then copy/paste
    killall Finder
    and hit return again.
Next hit Cmd-Shift-G and enter ~/Library/Mail and hit return
Open the triangle next to Mail and  look for a file named
    .OfflineCache file
and move it to the Trash. If this file exists, doing this will probably fix the problem.
You will need to reverse the show hidden command by just adding false to it, instead of true and them killall Finder again.

  • IOS 4 Pdf manual - too big for iBooks!!!

Thought the putting the manual in iBooks would be a good way to test drive new app. Well.... first you have to email the pdf (14 meg) and then it is too big to move into iBooks. Apple you can do better than this!!

OK. Now I see the details of your issue with iBooks.
Save the PDF file on your desktop or someplace where you can easily find it.
Open iTunes and connect the iPod Touch to it.
Now simply either drag it directly to the books on your iPod Touch or drag it to books on your iTunes and sync. This should put the document in on your iBooks app shelf. Be sure to click on the PDF tab in your app to display the PDF books.

  • Photos sent through email too big?

I have an iphone 3gs. Now my problem is that sometimes when i attach a photo to an email the photos turn out too big. Like when i view the message on a laptop it occupies more than 100% of the screen. the pictures are huge. Has anyone got a solution to this? i posted this question in yahoo answers and was told that there is an option to send a smaller version of the pics but i can't find it. help?

i did a bit of research and have figured out how to make the picture smaller. go to photos app then copy the thumbnail version of the picture and paste it in the email message and that's it.

I have often sent pdf or other files with adobe by email with no problem.
this file it said was too big so I'd have to upgrade to send it.   so I upgraded it.  I followed all the instructions, email, etc, etc, and its' ready to go but there is no SEND button.  how do I sent my file?

Are you still experiencing a problem with Adobe Send?  We inadvertently introduced a problem earlier today (now fixed), but you reported your issue was last night.
    Anyway, can you check again?

  • TS3276 server says file too big to send-file says 33MB server says 44MB

I cannot send a short video which is 33.1 MB in the description but the server won't process as it claims the file is too big(44MB) and it can handle only 41MB.
I've tried to compress it but still reads as "too big to send"

You seem focused on the difference between 33 megabytes binary and a 44 megabytes transfer — the messages have to be encoded as SMTP mail was never intended as a binary transfer mechanism — mail servers transfer printable text messages — and the text-encoded attached binary files are inherently going to be larger than the original files.
You're going to have to raise the mail server limits (which requires administrative access to the mail server), or find an alternate means of transferring the file — mail servers aren't very efficient at large transfers, large files tend to blow out mail server storage quotas, and blow out mail files.   Or chunk up the file into smaller files, send the chunks independently, and then concatenate the file remotely.  (There are tools around to do this — at the command line, have a look at the zipsplit tool — but I'd generally discourage this approach as it adds effort and complexity to the process.)
The usual approach is a file transfer service.   Dropbox or SpiderOak or some other file hosting or file transfer service are the most common approaches here, and are also more efficient than the overhead involved with large attachments sent via a mail server.   Many of these file-hosting services offer more than enough storage here, and often as part of a free service tier.
Some folks can and do run their own file-hosting services, but that generally involves configuring and managing a server system and the associated network connections.

  • Too big Printer spooler file

    Hi,
I'm using PrintJob Class to print and I have the problem that the files the program build in the spooler printer are too big ( 2MB/page A4), I think the problem could be in the font that I'm using but I don't know why because I'm using "Courier New". I do:
    PrintJob pg = new PrintJob(...);
    Font fon = new Font("courier new", Font.PLAIN, 12);
    Graphics gra = pg.getGraphics();
    gra.setFont(fon);
    gra.drawString("vvvvvvvvvv",10,10);
    Thanks in advance!!

I need some advice about the macbook pro and iPhone 5.
I took a video on my iPhone and tried to email it it said it was too big to send? So i downloaded it to my macbook pro and tried to mail it to no avail? The macbook tells me the server won't let it through other mail goes through any ideas how to resize it or what it might take to send it?

I agree with LowLister, the best option for you to share the video online is to upload it to your online storage account for example : Box, Dropbox, SkyDrive (All of them provide free storage beginning from 2GB).
You can upload the files which you want to share in this online storage and then they have sharing options in which you'll will get the link of the file to be sent and send the email. You're good to go!
Tip : You can store multiple files for backup purposes.

  • Sending iphone Pictures in texts which are too big for some Smartphones

When sending pictures in texts there used to be an option of 3 different size formats. Small/Medium/Large.  There is only one available now which is too big on some smartphones.
The HTC Wildfire has a restriction of 300kb and a text with picture I tried to send, could not be sent directly to the phone, instead it went to a web address to view. I also tried to share contact details with picture and the file was also too big.   I also tried the first picture to another old Nokia without problem.
Can anyone tell me if this is a problem with the latest Apple Software? Will they be fixing it so that we can select the picture size again to allow for picture size restrictions so we can send smaller photos to actually share our pictures.
    Anyone know?
Has anyone had the same problem?
Any answers welcome. Many thanks in advance. I hope they sort it quickly.

    Thanks again Chris,
I've just tried to see if I could get any more info from the 3gs User Guide and also found some MMS Info on page 325.
It also has some info on adding Photos on page 333
If MMS isn't supported by your carrier, camera image doesn't appear and you can't send photos or videos ...  This doesn't count in my case as 02 support this.
Send a Photo or Video: Tap Camera Image. Then tap 'take Photo or Video', or tap 'Choose Existing' and then select an item from a photo album and tap choose.
The size limit of attachments is determined by your carrier.  If necessary, iphone may compress the photo or video.
Well this clearly doesn't work for the HTC but I'm still more inclined to think that perhaps the Apple updates have removed the size reduction options.  The carrier (02) is able to take the MMS from me but the family member with the HTC who is using the 02 network through Tesco needs investigating why there is a limit to kb's.
I shall look into this and see what I can find out.  Perhaps it's a combination of the Apple Software and the Carrier people are using which is causing the Picture problems.

  • Belkin TuneDok too big for cupholders

I apologize if this is the wrong forum, but if someone could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. My wife has a '93 Camry Wagon which she loves. This car came with first-generation retractable cupholders at the bottom of the dash, and they're SMALL. She asked for a Belkin TuneDok for Christmas because she's using her 5G 60GB video iPod in the car with a cassette adapter. The TuneDok's smallest "cup" is too big to seat securely in the cup holder. I've already sent a message to Belkin's tech support but got no response. Has anyone modified one of these to work? I need it to be about 4-5 mm smaller in diameter. The cup holder cannot be easily enlarged because of its folding structure.
    Thanks,
    Marty

  • Burn to DVD folder - too big to burn to DVD - Options please?

I burned a large project to a DVD folder as PAL. I was able to burn that folder (VIDEO_TS) to a DVD using Nero without a problem.
I then needed an NTSC version. I burned the same project to a folder as NTSC. I don't remember seeing any warning messages.
When I tried burning the NTSC folder to a DVD with Nero, Nero complained it was too big to fit on the DVD. I imagine the over-sized burn is because of the higher frame rate of NTSC (30 vs 25).
Question is: What are my options? I prefer not to use dual layer DVD's, and I prefer to burn to folder out of PE4 then use Nero or other to burn the actual DVD. I also don't want to cut out any of my source clips.
I should say that I'm not overly concerned about final quality, so if I can simply use a lower bitrate or whatever, where is the best place to set that?
(Edit) - Note that I had the check box checked that says "Fit Contents to Available Space", and it suggested 4.38Gb required. Did this not work because it is perhaps impossible for PE4 to forcast the exact requirement??
    Thanks,
    Dave

    Dave JM,
If you took your project on the Timeline, sent it to Share, Disk and were in the DVD Burn area with the Burn to = Folder (4.7)....
    1. You did change the preset from DV PAL to DV NTSC?
    2. After you did that, you did have checked "Fit Contents To Available Space" and then said that it said 4.3 GB space required. Equally important, what was the Bitrate after it said 4.3 GB space required? I would like to know just how much lower it was than the High value 8.
    3. You say that you did not get any warning, such as one related to Data Rate??
Also, when you made the Presets switch from DV PAL to DV NTSC, did you see any change in the Space Required and/or Bitrate that was shown in the Burn Area?
If you did not, might it not be reasonable to look into the Nero Burn Video Files route more closely? I am just speculating that Nero Burn Video Files route might have different space required criteria?????
It is not clear to me why you would get the job done using PAL and not NTSC? I might suggest that you look at the PAL/NTSC bitrate comparison in Premiere Elements and, if indicated, lower the NTSC bitrate to reduce the space required to one that works for Nero. The Quality is going to suffer. By lower, I mean the smallest possible changes to reach the goal.
I know that you do not want to, but have you tried the Burn to Disc route for this NTSC project, just to see if it would work at all?
